Abstract The Yangla copper deposit, situated in the middle section of Jinshajiang tectonic belt between Zhongza-Zhongdian block and Changdu-Simao block, is a representative and giant copper deposit that has been discovered in Jinshajiang-Lancangjiang-Nujiang region in recent years. There are coupled relationship between Yangla granodiorite and copper mineralization in the Yangla copper deposit. Five molybdenite samples yielded a well-constrained 187Re-187Os isochron age of 233.3±3 Ma, the metallogenesis is therefore slightly younger than the crystallization age of the granodiorite. S, Pb isotopic compositions of the Yangla copper deposit indicate that the ore-forming materials were derived from the mixture of upper crust and mantle, also with the magmatic contributions. In the late Early Permian, the Jinshajiang Oceanic plate was subducted to the west, resulting in the formation of a series of gently dipping thrust faults in the Jinshajiang tectonic belt, meanwhile, accompanied magmatic activities. In the early Late Triassic, which was a time of transition from collision-related compression to extension in the Jinshajiang tectonic belt, the thrust faults were tensional; it would have been a favorable environment for forming ore fluids. The ascending magma provided a channel for the ore-forming fluid from the mantle wedge. After the magma arrived at the base of the early-stage Yangla granodiorite, the platy granodiorite at the base of the body would have shielded the late-stage magma from the fluid. The magma would have cooled slowly, and some of the ore-forming fluid in the magma would have entered the gently dipping thrust faults near the Yangla granodiorite, resulting in mineralization.

Abstract Alzheimer's disease (AD) is one of the most serious neurodegenerative diseases with no effective treatment options available. The formation of insoluble amyloid fibrils of the hyperphosphorylated tau protein is intimately associated with AD, hence the tau protein has been a key target for AD drug development. In this work, hematoxylin was discovered as a dual functional compound, that is, acting in the inhibition of repeat domain of tau (tau-RD) protein fibrillogenesis and remodeling of pre-formed tau-RD fibrils in vitro. Meanwhile, hematoxylin was able to reduce the accumulation of tau-RD aggregates in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Experimental and computational studies indicated that hematoxylin directly interacts with tau-RD protein through hydrophobic forces, hydrogen bonds, π-cation interactions, and π-π stackings. In addition, cellular viability assays showed that hematoxylin greatly reduced cytotoxicity induced by tau-RD aggregates. In summary, hematoxylin might be a promising candidate for further development as a potential therapeutic drug for AD patients.

Abstract The flexible job scheduling problem with automated guided vehicles (FJSP-AGVs) is a simplified model of some real manufacturing industries. It contains three strongly coupled subproblems: operation sequences assignment, machine selection, and automatic guided vehicle selection, leading to a huge solution space. Its several unresolved challenges, i.e., problem model and algorithmic designing, persist. Therefore, we first adopt the sequence-based modeling method to establish a mixed-integer linear programming model with makespan, and its correctness is verified by using the Gurobi solver. Subsequently, a multi-strategy-driven genetic algorithm (Mult_stra_GA) is proposed based on the implicit features of FJSP-AGVs. In Mult_stra_GA, for the operation sequence (OS) and the machine assignment (MS) subproblems, we design three targeted strategies, i.e., two layer-based encoding and decoding strategy, a multiple heuristics-based initialization strategy, double crossover, and dual mutation operators. Meanwhile, the problem-specific diversity checking and restart strategies are introduced to avoid Mult_stra_GA falling into local optima. Finally, we conduct experiments on four well-known benchmarks. Through the statistical analysis, the outcomes demonstrate that the Mult_stra_GA algorithm exhibits efficacy when contrasted with other advanced algorithms.
