    Abstract Environmental changes and ground subsidence along railway lines are serious concerns during high-speed railway operations. It is worth noting that AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average (ARMA), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), and other prediction methods may present limitations when applied to predict InSAR time series results. To address this issue, this study proposes a prediction method that decomposes the nonlinear settlement time series of feature points obtained through InSAR technology using Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition (EEMD). Subsequently, multiple Intrinsic Mode Functions (IMFs) are generated, and each IMF is individually predicted using the Prophet forecasting model. Finally, we employ an equal-weight superimposition method to combine the results, resulting in the prediction of the InSAR settlement time series. The predicted values of each component are subsequently weighted equally and combined to derive the final prediction outcome. This paper selects InSAR monitoring data along a high-speed railway in inland China and uses the proposed method and ARMA and Prophet models to carry out comparative experiments. The experimental results show that compared with the ARMA and Prophet models, the method in this paper improves the root mean square error by 58.01% and 32.3%, and increases the mean absolute error by 62.69% and 33.78%, respectively. The predicted settlement values generated by our method exhibit better agreement with the actual InSAR monitoring values.

    Abstract Location-based social networks (LBSNs) have collected massive geo-tagged information, enabling the derivation of user preference for point of interests (POIs) in support of personalized recommendation. The existing embedding techniques deal with multiple factors by embedding a separate model for each factor. As a result, the interaction amongst various factors cannot be captured properly. In addition, we notice that the effectiveness of personalized recommendation is closely related to the current time and location. It is obvious that users would check into a POI which fits their interests, even if the current location is far away from the POI or the time is inappropriate. Therefore, it is necessary to recommend the right POI according to the time and geographic location of the user. In other words, it is necessary to predict the most likely visiting event, including users, POI, event time, and event location. In this paper, we propose a probabilistic embedding model called Topic And Region Embedding (TARE), which embeds events by simulating the users’ decision-making process. The results of TARE not only take various factors and their interaction into consideration but also consider the time and geographic location of events. Extensive experiments on three location-based social network datasets show that TARE achieves better performance in recommendation accuracy than existing state-of-the-art methods.

    Abstract Background: Juvenile myoclonus epilepsy (JME) is an idiopathic generalized epilepsy syndrome. Functional connectivity studies based on graph theory have demonstrated changes in functional connectivity among different brain regions in patients with JME and healthy controls. However, previous studies have not been able to clarify why visual stimulation or increased cognitive load induces epilepsy symptoms in only some patients with JME.
    Methods: This study constructed a small-world network for the visualization of functional connectivity of brain regions in patients with JME, based on system mapping. We used the node reduction method repeatedly to identify the core nodes of the resting brain network of patients with JME. Thereafter, a functional connectivity network of the core brain regions in patients with JME was established, and it was analyzed manually with white matter tracks restriction to explain the differences in symptom distribution in patients with JME.
    Results: Patients with JME had 21 different functional connections in their resting state, and no significant differences in their distribution were noted. The thalamus, cerebellum, basal ganglia, supplementary motor area, visual cortex, and prefrontal lobe were the core brain regions that comprised the functional connectivity network in patients with JME during their resting state. The betweenness centrality of the prefrontal lobe and the visual cortex in the core functional connectivity network of patients with JME was lower than that of the other brain regions.
    Conclusion: The functional connectivity and node importance of brain regions of patients with JME changed dynamically in the resting state. Abnormal discharges originating from the thalamus, cerebellum, basal ganglia, supplementary motor area, visual cortex, and prefrontal cortex are most likely to lead to seizures in patients with JME. Further, the low average value of betweenness centrality of the prefrontal and visual cortices explains why visual stimulation or increased cognitive load can induce epileptic symptoms in only some patients with JME.

    Abstract Background: Reactive cutaneous capillary endothelial proliferation (RCCEP) is a common, burdensome adverse event that occurs in up to 88% of patients treated with camrelizumab. Without treatment, RCCEP is associated with social stigma and low quality of life. However, the optimal management of RCCEP remains inconclusive.
    Aims and objectives: to elucidate the pathogenesis and clinical manifestations of RCCEP and systematically review the existing different therapeutic options for this dermatologic toxicity to encourage the selection of the most appropriate approaches for individual comprehensive management.
    Materials and methods: As far as we know, we have systematically reviewed all cases complicated with RCCEP worldwide, and summarized the advantages and disadvantages of existing treatment methods. In addition, we report a successful case of 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy (ALA-PDT) in a 61-year-old male Chinese patient who developed RCCEP after camrelizumab immunotherapy. Owing to the patient's advanced age, complicated medication history, and hyperalgesia, ALA-PDT was performed. The multiple lesions on his chest and buttocks showed rapid relief within 1 week of a single treatment session. Clinical recurrence was not observed within 6 months following treatment.
    Results: The current treatment of RCCEP is challenging and there is a lack of globally recommendations based on strict therapeutic regimens or clinical trials. Based on this case, we found that ALA-PDT is a safe and effective treatment option for RCCEP. This case also highlights the coexistence of several camrelizumab-induced dermatologic immune-related adverse events, which has never been reported before.
    Conclusion: New therapies for RCCEP have emerged in recent years. Dermatologists should raise better awareness of the complexity of drug eruption and the need for early diagnosis and medical intervention.
