Abstract Due to the brittleness of silicon, the use of a diamond wire to cut silicon wafers is a critical stage in solar cell manufacturing. In order to improve the production yield of the cutting process, it is necessary to have a thorough understanding of the phenomena relating to the cutting parameters. This research reviews and summarizes the technology for the precision machining of monocrystalline silicon using diamond wire sawing (DWS). Firstly, mathematical models, molecular dynamics (MD), the finite element method (FEM), and other methods used for studying the principle of DWS are compared. Secondly, the equipment used for DWS is reviewed, the influences of the direction and magnitude of the cutting force on the material removal rate (MRR) are analyzed, and the improvement of silicon wafer surface quality through optimizing process parameters is summarized. Thirdly, the principles and processing performances of three assisted machining methods, namely ultrasonic vibration-assisted DWS (UV-DWS), electrical discharge vibration-assisted DWS (ED-DWS), and electrochemical-assisted DWS (EC-DWS), are reviewed separately. Finally, the prospects for the precision machining of monocrystalline silicon using DWS are provided, highlighting its significant potential for future development and improvement.

Abstract Background: Enteral nutrition (EN) support therapy increases the risk of abnormal blood glucose (BG). The aim of this study is to evaluate the clinical value of a real-time continuous glucose monitoring (rt-CGM) system in BG monitoring during postoperative EN support therapy in patients with esophageal cancer.
Methods: Patients without diabetes mellitus (DM) with esophageal cancer who planned to receive postoperative EN were enrolled. With the self-monitoring of BG value as the reference BG, the accuracy of rt-CGM was evaluated by the mean absolute relative difference (MARD) value, correlation efficient, agreement analysis, and Parkes and Clarke error grid plot. Finally, paired t tests were used to compare the differences in glucose fluctuations between EN and non-EN days and slow and fast days.
Results: The total MARD value of the rt-CGM system was 13.53%. There was a high correlation between interstitial glucose and fingertip capillary BG (consistency correlation efficient = 0.884 [95% confidence interval, 0.874-0.894]). Results of 15/15%, 20/20%, 30/30% agreement analysis were 58.51%, 84.71%, and 99.65%, respectively. The Parkes and Clarke error grid showed that the proportion of the A and B regions were 100% and 99.94%, respectively. The glucose fluctuations on EN days vs non-EN days and on fast days vs slow days were large, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.001).
Conclusion: The rt-CGM system achieved clinical accuracy and can be used as a new option for glucose monitoring during postoperative EN therapy. The magnitude of glucose fluctuation during EN therapy remains large, even in the postoperative population without DM.

Abstract Reconstruction universally occurs over non-layered transition metal sulfides (TMSs) during oxygen evolution reaction (OER), leading to the formation of active species metal (oxy)hydroxide and thus significantly influences the OER performance. However, the reconstruction process and underlying mechanism quantitatively remain largely unexplored. Herein, we proposed an electrochemical reaction mechanism, namely sulfide oxidation reaction (SOR), to elucidate the reconstruction process of pyrite-type TMSs. Based on this mechanism, we evaluated the reconstruction capability of NiS

Abstract The construction of island airports on coral reefs inevitably encounters the impact load of aircraft takeoff and landing. However, previous studies have not presented a detailed description of the dynamic response of the coral sand beneath the runways of island reclamation airports under aircraft load. In the current study, the coral sand of Mischief Reef Airport in the Nansha Islands, China, was selected as the background. The pore water pressure and strain characteristics of reshaped coral sand under aircraft loads with different dynamic stress amplitudes and vibration frequencies were studied using dynamic triaxial tests. Particle discrete element software was employed to study the deformation characteristics of coral sand with different particle sizes and porosities under aircraft loads. Results show that when the dynamic stress amplitude and vibration frequency were small, the pore water pressure and strain of the coral sand samples gradually increased with the number of load cycles, and the growth rate became increasingly small. When the dynamic stress amplitude and vibration frequency were large, the axial strain of the coral sand samples increased with the vibration frequency, and the growth rate exhibited an increasing trend. The deformation of the coral sand samples increased with porosity under aircraft loading. The larger the variation range of the coral sand particle size was, the larger the coral sand deformation caused by aircraft takeoff and landing load was. These results can provide a reference for the treatment and repair of the airstrip foundation of island airports.

Abstract Leakage in the diaphragm wall is difficult to detect in deep foundation pits. In this study, the conceptual model of active and passive thermal leak detection methods was proposed according to the occurrence of temperature field anomalies caused by seepage. Experiments were performed using a heating system and an optical fiber temperature measurement system to verify the thermal leakage detection systems. Numerical simulations were performed to understand the mechanism of the detecting method. Results indicated that the optical cable could detect the low-temperature anomaly in the active temperature field leak detection. The arrangement method of the leakage detection system was also presented in actual engineering.

Abstract Integrating high flame retardancy and excellent electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding into polymetric materials is extremely necessary, and well dispersing conductive fillers into polymeric materials is still a great challenge because of incompatible interfacial polarity between polymer matrix and conductive fillers. Therefore, under the premise of maintaining integral conductive films in the process of hot compression, constructing a novel EMI shielding polymer nanocomposites where conductive films closely adhere to polymer nanocmposites layers should be a fascinating stratety. Abstract Glutarylation is a post-translational modification which plays an irreplaceable role in various functions of the cell. Therefore, it is very important to accurately identify the glutarylation substrates and its corresponding glutarylation sites. In recent years, many computational methods of glutarylation sites have emerged one after another, but there are still many limitations, among which noisy data and the class imbalance problem caused by the uncertainty of non-glutarylation sites are great challenges. In this study, we propose a new semi-supervised learning algorithm, named FCCCSR, to identify reliable non-glutarylation lysine sites from unlabeled samples as negative samples. FCCCSR first finds core objects from positive samples according to reverse nearest neighbor information, and then clusters core objects based on natural neighbor structure. Finally, reliable negative samples are selected according to clustering result. With FCCCSR algorithm, we propose a new method named FCCCSR_Glu for glutarylation sites identification. In this study, multi-view features are extracted and fused to describe peptides, including amino acid composition, BLOSUM62, amino acid factors and composition of k-spaced amino acid pairs. Then, reliable negative samples selected by FCCCSR and positive samples are combined to establish models and XGBoost optimized by differential evolution algorithm is used as the classifier. On the independent testing dataset, FCCCSR_Glu achieves 85.18%, 98.36%, 94.31% and 0.8651 in sensitivity, specificity, accuracy and Matthew's Correlation Coefficient, respectively, which is superior to state-of-the-art methods in predicting glutarylation sites. Therefore, FCCCSR_Glu can be a useful tool for glutarylation sites prediction and FCCCSR algorithm can effectively select reliable negative samples from unlabeled samples. The data and code are available on https://github.com/xbbxhbc/FCCCSR_Glu.git.
