    Abstract Ada 4 kompetensi guru yaitu profesional, pedagogik, sosial dan kepribadian. Kompetensi pedagogik menjadi bekal utama bagi seorang guru agar dapat mengelola kelas dengan baik terutama pada proses pembelajaran tematik terpadu sehingga pembelajaran menjadi bermakna. Dalam penelitian ini, masalah utama yang dibahas adalah bagaimana kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran tematik terpadu dan bagaimana hambatan yang dihadapi guru dalam implementasikan pembelajaran tematik terpadu di MI Ma’arif 04 Gentasari Kecamatan Kroya Kabupaten Cilacap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis terkait kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam pembelajaran tematik terpadu di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’arif 04 Gentasari Kecamatan Kroya Kabupaten Cilacap. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pembelajaran tematik terpadu di MI Ma’arif 04 Gentasari guru sudah mempunyai kompetensi pedagogik pada aspek pemahaman wawasan atau landasan kependidikan yaitu guru telah melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan memperhatikan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran. Pada aspek memahami karakteristik peserta didik guru bisa menyebutkan karakter peserta didik baik dari sifat ataupun cara belajar. Pada aspek pengembangan kurikulum/silabus yaitu guru mengembangkan kurikulum dengan memusatkan pada karakteristik peserta didik. Pada aspek perancangan pembelajaran tematik terpadu yaitu RPP dibuat oleh guru pada awal tahun pelajaran dengan melibatkan KKG. Kompetensi aspek pelaksanaan pembelajaran yaitu guru menggunakan pendekatan saintifik. Pada aspek pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran yaitu guru menggunakan teknologi smartphone dan laptop. Pada aspek evaluasi atau penilaian hasil belajar, guru menggunakan penilaian autentik. Aspek pengembangan peserta didik untuk mengaktualisasikan potensi yang dimilikinya yaitu dengan melibatkan peserta didik untuk aktif berdiskusi, menggali, dan mengeksplor informasi. Adapun hambatan yang ditemui guru yaitu materi tematik mengalami penyempitan, penilaian autentik, dan keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran home visit karena musim pandemi Covid-19.

    Abstract Objective: To uncover a correlation between a high uterine artery pulsatility index on Doppler ultrasound and the early onset of pre-eclampsia to reduce maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. Study Design: Quasi-experimental study. Place and Duration of Study: Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Combined Military Hospital, Multan Pakistan, from Jun 2020 to Dec 2021. Methodology: After Ethical Approval and informed consent, the umbilical artery pulsatility (UAPI) of the patients was measured by a transabdominal scan(TAS) between 75 and 100 days. Raised UAPI was correlated with early onset preeclampsia. Results: One hundred and sixty pregnant women were included in the study, out of which 34(21.3%) women developed preeclampsia, and 126(78.8%) were normal patients. Maternal weight (p=0.001), maternal BMI (p=0.002), gestational age and weight at delivery (p=0.001), and uterine artery doppler pulsatility index (p=0.001) had statistically significant differences with pre-eclampsia and regular patients among the target population. Conclusion: First-trimester uterine artery pulsatility index on Doppler ultrasound is a beneficial technique to recognize the women by risk status and target them to prevent pre-eclampsia.

    Abstract More than 95% of patients fall victim to primary amoebic meningoencephalitis (PAM), a fatal disease attacking the central nervous system. Naegleria fowleri, a brain-eating microorganism, is PAM's most well-known pathogenic ameboflagellate. Despite the use of antibiotics, the fatality rate continues to rise as no clinical trials have been conducted against this disease. To address this, we mined the UniProt database for pathogenic proteins and selected assumed epitopes to create an mRNA-based vaccine. We identified thirty B-cell and T-cell epitopes for the vaccine candidate. These epitopes, secretion boosters, subcellular trafficking structures, and linkers were used to construct the vaccine candidate. Through predictive modeling and confirmation via the Ramachandran plot (with a quality factor of 92.22), we assessed secondary and 3D structures. The adjuvant RpfE was incorporated to enhance the vaccine construct's immunogenicity (GRAVY index: 0.394, instability index: 38.99, antigenicity: 0.8). The theoretical model of immunological simulations indicated favorable responses from both innate and adaptive immune cells, with memory cells expected to remain active for up to 350 days post-vaccination, while the antigen was eliminated from the body within 24 h. Notably, strong interactions were observed between the vaccine construct and TLR-4 (- 11.9 kcal/mol) and TLR-3 (- 18.2 kcal/mol).

    Abstract The fundamental of prioritizing employees’ career satisfaction is an essential agenda of an organization. Referring to the concept of career satisfaction in Malaysia, employees who are satisfied with their careers can influence organizational success and contribute to effective organizational performance. Thus, considering the aim of the present research, this study examines the mediation effect of psychological empowerment on the relationship between perceived organizational support and career satisfaction among operators at one manufacturing company in Johor. A cross-sectional survey was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 248 respondents, with only 202 returned. Later, the collected feedback was loaded into SPSS software for descriptive statistical analysis. Next, SmartPLS software was utilized to evaluate the inferential statistic to test the projected hypotheses. The result indicated that psychological empowerment could mediate the relationship between perceived organizational support on career satisfaction. Several recommendations were enclosed to the respective organization and future researchers to cater to the studied problems.

    Abstract This study aims to justify the mediating effect of organizational commitment in the association between training and development, career development, and work performance. Data was collected from 362 frontline hotel employees through a survey by random sampling technique. The analysis methodology comprises descriptive statistics, measurement, and structure models through SPSS 23 and Smarts PLS 3.0. This study significantly examined the correlation between training and development and work performance, career development, and work performance. Moreover, organizational commitment in the hotel sector is significantly associated with work performance. Furthermore, the significant correlation between training and development and work performance career development among hotel personnel is mediated by organizational commitment. Owners and managers should know the necessary policies to enhance employees' work performance and organizational commitment and consider appropriate behaviour. Besides, all required facilities for enhancing career development and training and development should be implemented to strengthen hotels' present and future demands. It is furthered by the study's explanations of the results and their limitations, which also included suggestions for future research possibilities. This research filled the gap in the hotel industry in Bangladesh, where study works into wide-ranging training and development, career development practices, organizational commitment, and work performance were rare.
