    Abstract The mature processes of metal oxide semiconductors (MOS) have attracted considerable interest. However, the low sensitivity of metal oxide semiconductor gas sensors is still challenging, and constrains its practical applications. Bimetallic nanoparticles are of interest owing to their excellent catalytic properties. This excellent feature of bimetallic nanoparticles can solve the problems existing in MOS gas sensors, such as the low response, high operating temperature and slow response time. To enhance acetone sensing performance, we successfully synthesized Au-Pd/ZnO nanorods. In this work, we discovered that Au-Pd nanoparticles modified on ZnO nanorods can remarkably enhance sensor response. The Au-Pd/ZnO gas sensor has long-term stability and an excellent response/recovery process. This excellent sensing performance is attributed to the synergistic catalytic effect of bimetallic AuPd nanoparticles. Moreover, the electronic and chemical sensitization of noble metals also makes a great contribution. This work presents a simple method for preparing Au-Pd/ZnO nanorods and provides a new solution for the detection of acetone based on metal oxide semiconductor.

    Abstract BackgroundOwing to the complexity of and changes associated with modern public health emergencies, cross-departmental collaborative governance is an inevitable choice for ensuring effective emergency management. In the context of emergency management research, the way in which taking full advantage of synergy can be used to enhance the effectiveness of emergency prevention and control approaches is an important issue that must be addressed urgently.MethodsCombined with China's responses to the management of public health emergencies, in this study, we construct a theoretical analysis framework involving three dimensions: information, organization, and environment. Our proposed framework relies on the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) method to analyze the mechanisms behind the prevention and control of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases across 15 cities located in typical provinces throughout China and explore the roles of cross-departmental collaboration in the processing of various elements as well as the effects of their combination on the action mechanisms for ensuring the effectiveness of emergency management approaches.FindingsThe results show a significant conditional correlation between the effectiveness of emergency management and the factors affecting cross-departmental coordination. Based on the characteristics of multiple concurrent paths, the driving paths can be classified into four categories: organizational, environmental, environment-balanced, and organization environment-based dual-core categories.ConclusionsThe effectiveness of public health emergency management is the result of multiple factors.     Abstract Efficient sensors for toluene detecting are urgently needed to meet people's growing demands for both environment and personal health. Metal oxide semiconductor (MOS)-based sensors have become brilliant candidates for the detection of toluene because of their superior performance over gas sensing. However, gas sensors based on pure MOS have certain limitations in selectivity, operating temperature, and long-term stability, which hinders their further practical applications. Noble metals (including Ag, Au, Pt, Pd, etc.) have the ability to enhance the performance of MOS-based sensors via surface functionalization. Herein, ZnO nanoflowers (ZNFs) modified with bimetallic AuPt are prepared for toluene detection through hydrothermal method. The response of a AuPt@ZNF-based gas sensor can reach 69.7 at 175 °C, which is 30 times, 9 times, and 10 times higher than that of the original ZNFs, Au@ZNFs, and Pt@ZNFs, respectively. Furthermore, the sensor also has a lower optimal operating temperature (175 °C), good stability (94% of previous response after one month), and high selectivity towards toluene, which is the result of the combined influence of the electronic and chemical sensitization of noble metals, as well as the unique synergistic effect of the AuPt alloy. In summary, AuPt@ZNF-based sensors can be further applied in toluene detection in practical applications.

    Abstract Hydrogel electrolyte is an ideal candidate material for flexible energy storage devices due to its excellent softness and conductivity properties. However, challenges such as the inherent mechanical weakness, the susceptibility to be frozen in low-temperature environments, and the insufficiency of hydrogel-electrode contact persist. Herein, a "Multi in One" strategy is employed to effectively conquer these difficulties by endowing hydrogels with high strength, freeze-resistance, and self-adhesive ability. Multiple hydrogen bond networks and ion crosslinking networks are constructed within the hydrogel electrolyte (PVA/PAAc/XG) containing polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), acrylic acid (AAc), and xanthan gum (XG), promoting the enhanced mechanical property, and the adhesion to electrode materials is also improved through abundant active groups. The introduction of zinc ions provides the material with superior frost resistance while also promoting electrical conductivity. Leveraging its multifunction of superior mechanical strength, anti-freeze property, and self-adhesive characteristic, the PVA/PAAc/XG hydrogel electrolyte is employed to fabricate zinc ion hybrid supercapacitors (ZHS). Remarkably, ZHS exhibits outstanding electrochemical performance and cycle stability. A remarkable capacity retention rate of 83.86 % after 10,000 charge-discharge cycles can be achieved at high current densities, even when the operational temperature decreases to -60 °C, showing great potential in the field of flexible energy storage devices.

    Abstract Three-dimensional NAND flash memory is widely used in sensor systems as an advanced storage medium that ensures system stability through fast data access. However, in flash memory, as the number of cell bits increases and the process pitch keeps scaling, the data disturbance becomes more serious, especially for neighbor wordline interference (NWI), which leads to a deterioration of data storage reliability. Thus, a physical device model was constructed to investigate the NWI mechanism and evaluate critical device factors for this long-standing and intractable problem. As simulated by TCAD, the change in channel potential under read bias conditions presents good consistency with the actual NWI performance. Using this model, NWI generation can be accurately described through the combination of potential superposition and a local drain-induced barrier lowering (DIBL) effect. This suggests that a higher bitline voltage (Vbl) transmitted by the channel potential can restore the local DIBL effect, which is ever weakened by NWI. Furthermore, an adaptive Vbl countermeasure is proposed for 3D NAND memory arrays, which can significantly minimize the NWI of triple-level cells (TLC) in all state combinations. The device model and the adaptive Vbl scheme were successfully verified by TCAD and 3D NAND chip tests. This study introduces a new physical model for NWI-related problems in 3D NAND flash, while providing a feasible and promising voltage scheme as a countermeasure to optimize data reliability.

    Abstract Objective: To investigate the effect of Da-Cheng-Qi decoction (DCQD) on treating intestinal injury in rats with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP), based on the Janus kinase 2 (JAK2)/signal transducers and transcription 3 (STAT3) signaling pathway.
    Methods: Rats were randomly divided into the SAP group, SAP + ruxolitinib (JAK2 inhibitor) group, SAP + Stattic (STAT3 inhibitor) group, SAP + DCQD group, and sham operation group. They were further divided into 3-hour, 6-hour, 12-hour, and 18-hour subgroups. Levels of amylase and the inflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor-
    Results: Rats with SAP had severe changes in plasma levels of amylase and inflammatory cytokines and showed an overexpression of JAK2 mRNA, STAT3 mRNA, p-JAK2 protein, and p-STAT3 protein in the pancreas and terminal ileum. The events could be downregulated by treatment with DCQD, JAK2 inhibitor, and STAT3 inhibitor.
    Conclusions: In rats with SAP, DCQD ameliorated inflammatory cytokines and intestinal injury, which may be closely associated with the inhibition of the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway.

To investigate the effect of Da-Cheng-Qi decoction (DCQD) on treating intestinal injury in rats with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP), based on the Janus kinase 2 (JAK2)/signal transducers and transcription 3 (STAT3) signaling pathway. Methods. Rats were randomly divided into the SAP group, SAP + ruxolitinib (JAK2 inhibitor) group, SAP + Stattic (STAT3 inhibitor) group, SAP + DCQD group, and sham operation group. Results. Rats with SAP had severe changes in plasma levels of amylase and inflammatory cytokines and showed an overexpression of JAK2 mRNA, STAT3 mRNA, p-JAK2 protein, and p-STAT3 protein in the pancreas and terminal ileum. The events could be downregulated by treatment with DCQD, JAK2 inhibitor, and STAT3 inhibitor. Conclusions. In rats with SAP, DCQD ameliorated inflammatory cytokines and intestinal injury, which may be closely associated with the inhibition of the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway.
