Abstract Abstract The green regeneration of urban inventory is now much more viewed as a strategy to create “green finance”, in contrast to the urban renewal movement that was started in the 1950s and focused on the physical renovation of the built environment. This study draws on evidence-based theory to examine the spatial forms of residential communities in 36 urban districts of China. From a morphological perspective, it summarizes the spatial forms of residential environments at the level of buildings and microdistricts. The results indicate that in urban areas, the aspect ratio and shape coefficient of residential buildings have a significant impact on household energy consumption, and an appropriate increase in building density will help reduce carbon emissions. In conclusion, this study emphasizes the role of carbon reduction as a kind of “green finance” and provides a reference for subsequent urban renewal decisions in combination with China’s actual cases.

Abstract This paper introduces a pixelwise calibration method designed for a structured light system utilizing a camera attached with a telecentric lens. In the calibration process, a white flat surface and a flat surface with circle dots serve as the calibration targets. After deriving the properties of the pinhole projector through a conventional camera calibration method using circle dots and determining the camera's attributes via 3D feature points estimation through iterative optimizations, the white surface calibration target was positioned at various poses and reconstructed with initial camera and projector calibration data. Each 3D reconstruction was fitted with a virtual ideal plane that was further used to create the pixelwise phase-to-coordinate mapping. To optimize the calibration accuracy, various angled poses of the calibration target are employed to refine the initial results. Experimental findings show that the proposed approach offers high calibration accuracy for a structured light system using a telecentric lens.

Abstract Objectives: This study aims to investigate the impact of health status and social support on the subjective well-being of older individuals.
Methods: Using data from the China General Social Survey 2017, this research analyzed 5,187 Chinese citizens aged 60 years and older. The predicted effect of each variable on subjective well-being was evaluated through hierarchical regression analysis. The direct and indirect effects of social support and health status on subjective well-being are examined based on a structural equation model.
Results: The mental health and social support positively impact subjective well-being. Mental health mediates the effect of physical health on subjective well-being, and social support mediates the relationship between physical and mental health and subjective well-being.
Conclusion: The findings provide strong evidence for the interrelationship mechanisms among the factors influencing subjective well-being. Consequently, improving mental health services and social support systems is advantageous for enhancing the well-being of Chinese seniors.

Nonsynonymous (Nonsyn) RNA editing in insects is over-represented compared with synonymous (Syn) editing, suggesting adaptive signals of positive selection on Nonsyn editing during evolution. Abstract This study explored the mediating effect of resilience on clinical belongingness and presenteeism of new nurses. A total of 271 new nurses completed the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, Belongingness Scale-Clinical Placement Experience, and Stanford Presenteeism Scale. It was found that resilience correlated positively with clinical belongingness, while presenteeism was negatively correlated with resilience and clinical belongingness. The mediating effect of resilience on clinical belongingness and implicit absence accounted for 42% of the total effect value. Hence, new nurses' resilience plays an intermediary role between clinical belongingness and presenteeism. Nursing managers can develop interventions to reduce the sense of clinical absence by improving the resilience of new nurses.
