Abstract Abstract KATAN ciphers are block ciphers using non‐linear feedback shift registers. In this study, the authors improve the results of conditional differential analysis on KATAN by using deep learning. Multi‐differential neural distinguishers are built to improve the accuracy of the neural distinguishers and increase the number of its rounds. Moreover, a conditional differential analysis framework is proposed based on deep learning with the multi‐differential neural distinguishers, resulting in a significant improvement than the previous. We present a practical key recovery attack on the 97‐round KATAN32 with 215.5 data complexity and 220.5 time complexity. The attack of the 82‐round KATAN48 and 70‐round KATAN64 are also presented as the best known practical results.

Abstract The excessive use of antibiotics in clinical settings has resulted in the rapid expansion, evolution, and development of bacterial and microorganism resistance. It causes a significant challenge to the medical community. Therefore, it is important to develop new antibacterial materials that could replace traditional antibiotics. With the advancements in nanotechnology, it has become evident that metallic and metal oxide nanoparticles (MeO NPs) exhibit stronger antibacterial properties than their bulk and micron-sized counterparts. The antibacterial properties of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) and copper nanoparticles (Cu NPs) have been extensively studied, including the release of metal ions, oxidative stress responses, damages to cell integrity, and immunostimulatory effects. However, it is crucial to consider the potential cytotoxicity and genotoxicity of Ag NPs and Cu NPs. Numerous experimental studies have demonstrated that bimetallic nanoparticles (BNPs) composed of Ag NPs and Cu NPs exhibit strong antibacterial effects while maintaining low cytotoxicity. Bimetallic nanoparticles offer an effective means to mitigate the genotoxicity associated with individual nanoparticles while considerably enhancing their antibacterial efficacy. In this paper, we presented on various synthesis methods for Ag-Cu NPs, emphasizing their synergistic effects, processes of reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, photocatalytic properties, antibacterial mechanisms, and the factors influencing their performance. These materials have the potential to enhance efficacy, reduce toxicity, and find broader applications in combating antibiotic resistance while promoting public health.

Abstract Objectives: The study endeavors to undertake a bibliometric analysis on molar distalization, with the objective of illuminating its evolutionary trajectory, current status, and prognosticating future research hotspots and trends.
Material and methods: A comprehensive exploration of the literature on molar distalization was carried out by conducting a search in the Web of Science (WOS) core database of the University of Hong Kong Electronic Library. The search for topic terms employed included "molar distalization," "molar distalisation," "move molar distally," "molar distal movement," and "molar backwards." The search results were subsequently subjected to meticulous analysis using CiteSpace software. This analysis encompassed various facets such as the citation count; the geographical distribution of the countries, institutions, and journals responsible for publishing the articles; the distribution of the authors; the utilization of keywords within the articles; and the analysis of references.
Results: A total of 516 articles were included in the analysis. The top 5 countries in terms of the number of published papers were the United States (USA), South Korea, Turkey, Italy, and Germany, and the top 5 institutions in terms of the number of published papers were Kyung Hee University, A.T. Still University of Health Sciences, Catholic University of Korea, Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, and Universidade de Sao Paulo. The top 5 authors in terms of the number of published papers were Park, Kook, Bayome, Janson, and Lee. There was little cooperation overall. The top 3 journals in terms of the most published related articles were all orthodontic-related journals. After molar distalization and anchorage, the most frequently used keywords were distalization, movement, and pendulum appliance. Kinzinger GSM is the most frequently cited author in references, and one of his articles also has the highest centrality score in references.
Conclusions: As the tides of time shift and scholars display an ever-growing dedication to unraveling the intricacies of this therapeutic modality, the realm of molar distalization has undergone notable advancements in technology. Initially, the traditional appliance suffered from aesthetic drawbacks and discomfort. However, contemporary iterations of the appliance have transcended these limitations, boasting enhanced elegance and convenience while concurrently elevating their efficacy. Nevertheless, limitations of current appliances, including their durability and propensity for recurrence post-treatment, continue to necessitate further advancement. Hence, the ongoing scientific inquiry aims to delve deeper into refining treatment modalities and fabricating cutting-edge appliances within this realm.
Clinical relevance: This study holds the potential to significantly enhance the ability of orthodontists to devise treatment protocols and offer state-of-the-art clinical recommendations, thereby empowering them to deliver advanced and refined orthodontic interventions.

Abstract Low-cost sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) have shown very promise in the applications of renewable energy and low-speed electric vehicles. The development of a new O2-type cathode in SIBs is very challenging in that this compound is only stable as an intermediate product of P2-type oxides during redox reactions. Here, we report a thermodynamically stable O2-type cathode obtained by Na/Li ion exchange from P2-type oxide in a binary molten salt system. It is demonstrated that the as-prepared O2-type cathode exhibits a highly reversible O2–P2 phase transition during Na⁺ de-intercalation. The unusual O2–P2 transition has a low volume change of ∼11%, much lower than that of 23.2% for P2–O2 transformation in the P2-type cathode. The lowered lattice volume change of this O2-type cathode gives rise to superior structural stability upon cycling. Therefore, the O2-type cathode possesses a reversible capacity of about 100 mAh/g with a good capacity retention of 87.3% even after 300 cycles at 1C, indicating outstanding long-term cycling stability. These achievements will promote the development new class of cathode materials with high capacity and structural stability for advanced SIBs.

Abstract Over the past decade, neuroscience has been integrated into information systems as a new methodology and perspective to study and solve related problems. Therefore, NeuroIS has emerged as a new cutting-edge research field. This review aimed to identify, summarize, and classify existing NeuroIS publications through knowledge mapping and bibliometric analysis. To effectively understand the development trend of NeuroIS, this study referred to the journal selection index of the Association of Business Schools in 2021 and journals above three stars in the field of information management as the main selection basis. A total of 99 neuroscience papers and their citation data were included from 19 major information systems journals of SCI/SSCI. This study analyzed bibliometric data from 2010 to 2021 to identify the most productive countries, universities, authors, journals, and prolific publications in NeuroIS. To this end, VOSviewer was used to visualize mapping based on co-citation, bibliographic coupling, and co-occurrence. Keywords with strong citation bursts were also identified in this study. This signifies the evolution of this research field and may reveal potential research directions in the near future. In selecting research methods and analysis tools for NeuroIS, content analysis was used to further conclude and summarize the relevant trends. Moreover, a co-citation network analysis was conducted to help understand how the papers, journals, and authors in the field were connected and related, and to identify the seminal or pioneering major literature. For researchers, network maps visualized mainstream research and provided a structural understanding of NeuroIS. The review concludes by discussing potential research topics in this field.
