    Abstract Chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS), as a common male urogenital system disease, has made significant progress in the field of physical therapy in recent years. With the characteristics of non-invasiveness, low side effects, clear effectiveness and high patient compliance, physical therapy has gradually become one of the vital methods for the treatment of CP/CPPS. In the physical therapy of chronic prostatitis, the commonly used methods mainly include prostate massage, biofeedback, magnetic therapy, ultrasound and shock wave therapy, hyperthermia, acupuncture and electrophysiological therapy. These methods ultimately alleviate the patient's pain and other discomfort symptoms through different physical effects. This article will summarize the latest research progress of physical therapy for CP/CPPS, analyze their mechanisms and their respective advantages and disadvantages, forthe reference in clinical treatment, and also inorderto provide new concepts and ideas for researchers.

    Abstract Regarding the importance of N-degron pathway in protein degradation network, the adaptor protein ClpS recognizes the substrates bearing classical N-degrons, and delivers them to caseinolytic protease complex ClpAP for degradation. Interestingly, the majority of N-degrons located near the N-terminus of protein substrate are belonged to the hydrophobic type amino acids. Chloroplast, an important organelle for plant photosynthesis, contain a diversified Clp degradation system. Despite several studies have confirmed that chloroplastic ClpS is able to interact with classical N-degrons derived from prokaryotes, whereas, the molecular mechanism underlying how the chloroplastic ClpS protein could recognize the substrate tagged by N-degrons is still unclear until now. Chlamydomonas reinhardtii is a kind of unicellular model organism for photosynthesis researches, which possesses a large cup-shaped chloroplast, and the corresponding genome data indicates that it owns bacterial homologous adaptor protein, named CrClpS1. However, the relevant biochemical knowledges, and protein structure researches for CrClpS1 adaptor aren't reported up to date. The molecular interactions between CrClpS1 and possible N-degrons are undefined as well. Here, we build a reliable homology model of CrClpS1 and find a hydrophobic pocket for N-degron binding. We combine molecular docking, molecular dynamic simulations, and MM/PBSA, MM/GBSA binding free energy estimations to elucidate the molecular properties of CrClpS1-N-degron interactions. Besides, we investigate the conformational changes for CrClpS1-apo in water-solvent environment and analyze its possible biological significances through a long time molecular dynamic simulation. Specifically, the adaptor CrClpS1 displays the stronger interactions with Phe, Trp, Tyr, His and Ile with respect to other amino acids. Using the residue decomposition analysis, the interactions between CrClpS1 and N-degrons are heavily depended on several conservative residues, which are located around the hydrophobic pocket, implying that chloroplast isolated from Chlamydomonas reinhadtii adopts a relatively conservative N-degron recognition mode. Besides, the opening-closure of hydrophobic pocket of CrClpS1 might be beneficial for the N-degron selectivity.

    Abstract Background: To examine the influences of psychosocial work conditions on mental health risk and intention to leave the public sector among workers of public health agencies in Taiwan.
    Methods: We surveyed 492 public health workers in March 2022 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Information on job demands, job control, workplace justice, experiences of workplace violence and its type and origin, and mental health status (assessed by the 5-item Brief Symptom Rating Scale, BSRS-5) was obtained. Of them, 192 participated in a follow-up survey conducted in May 2023 that assessed mental health status, employment changes, and intention to leave.
    Results: In the initial survey, 32.93% of participants reported poor mental health status, defined by having a score of BSRS-5 ≧ 10, and 48.17% experienced some form of workplace violence over the past year. Notably, high psychosocial job demands (OR = 3.64, 95% CI = 1.93-6.87), low workplace justice (OR = 2.58, 95% CI = 1.45-4.58), and workplace violence (OR = 2.38, 95% CI = 1.51-3.77) were significantly associated with increased risk of mental disorders. Among those who participated in the follow-up survey, 22.40% had persistent poor mental health, and 30.73% considered leaving or have left the public sector. Longitudinal analyses indicated that job demands predicted persistent mental disorders and intention to leave the public sector, and the experience of workplace violence added additional mental health risks.
    Conclusion: The public health workforce is crucial for effective and resilient public health systems. Our findings that public health workers were at high mental health risk and had a high intention to leave the job warrant attention and policy interventions.

    Abstract Purpose: This study aimed to explore the symptom profiles and predominant symptoms in newly diagnosed breast cancer women before and after receiving docetaxel chemotherapy.
    Methods: A pre-post study recruited adult women with stage I-III breast cancer undergoing docetaxel chemotherapy using convenience sampling. The 13-item symptom severity subscale of the M. D. Anderson Symptom Inventory-Taiwan Form was used to measure symptoms. The study employed latent profile analysis to identify subgroups based on symptom severity before and after docetaxel chemotherapy. Descriptive statistics, including mean and frequency, were used to compare and contrast the most prevalent and severe symptoms within each subgroup to confirm the predominant symptoms.
    Results: The study identified four and two symptom profiles before and after docetaxel treatment, respectively. Disturbed sleep was identified as a prevalent symptom for all participants, regardless of their chemotherapy status. The predominant symptoms before treatment were disturbed sleep, dry mouth, difficulty remembering, and fatigue, while disturbed sleep and numbness were the predominant symptoms after treatment.
    Conclusion: The findings of this study are significant, as they contribute to the current understanding of the symptom experience of breast cancer individuals undergoing docetaxel chemotherapy. Healthcare professionals should prioritize assessing and managing these symptoms, including identifying contributing factors to poor sleep. Addressing symptom profiles related to sleep can improve the quality of life of breast cancer individuals undergoing docetaxel chemotherapy.

    Abstract The investigation of regional water purification functionality and its influencing factors holds significant pragmatic implications in understanding the potential of regional water purification, guiding context-specific regional comprehensive planning schemes, and environmental conservation measures. The study site, situated along the southern coast of Hangzhou Bay, represents a prototypical region characterized by intricate land-sea interactions that bear substantial economic and ecological functions. By assimilating a meticulously collected topographical and land-use dataset, in conjunction with site-specific meteorological records, the water purification model embedded within the integrated valuation of ecosystem services and trade-offs (InVEST) framework was employed to scrutinize the spatiotemporal dynamics of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) loads, discharges, and removals within the southern coast of Hangzhou Bay. The prime objective of this study was to unravel the differentials in water purification functionality under diverse developmental scenarios. The investigation unearthed distinct temporal discrepancies in N and P discharges and removals over two temporal dimensions. Relative to the benchmark year 2000, the total N load experienced a reduction of 276.72 t, whereas the N discharge and removals decreased by 140.86 and 137.86 t, respectively, in the year 2020. In contrast, the total P load observed an increase of 93.65 t, accompanied by a surge in P discharge and removals by 28.91 and 64.74 t, respectively. Spatially, the distribution pattern of N and P discharges exhibited a general inclination of elevated values in the northern region and subdued values in the southern region, with certain pockets in the southern region exhibiting pronounced peaks, intimately associated with land-use typologies. Simulation analyses conducted under distinct scenarios unveiled that under the natural development priority scenario, the N and P discharges within the study area amounted to 1 682.36 and 115.50 t, respectively. Conversely, under the scenario emphasizing economic development, the regional N and P discharges showed an approximate escalation of 83.02% and 79.93%, correspondingly. In contrast, under the scenario emphasizing environmental conservation, the regional N and P discharges exhibited a notable decline of approximately 79.96% and 56.44%, respectively. Hence, the scenario prioritizing the amalgamation of environmental conservation and development effectively reduced the N and P discharges within the region, bolstering the water purification functionality. The results derived from this study furnish a solid theoretical foundation for effectuating region-specific planning schemes fostering coordinated economic and ecological advancement within the study area.
