Abstract Introduction: Latin America was the region most affected by COVID-19 in the second quarter of 2020, and consequently, the impact on mental health requires evaluation. The aim of this study was to assess the risk of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) caused by bereavement due to COVID-19 in 12 countries in Latin America.
Methods: The current study was an analytical cross-sectional study. Validated tests were applied for PTSD, depression, anxiety, and stress (DASS-21), questions about the respondent's condition or their environment, and demographic questions, as well as the length of the mourning period of suffering.
Results: The outcomes demonstrated that the PTSD risk increased for women (
Discussion: It can be concluded that the percentages of PTSD are high in its clinical presentation as severe, especially among Latin American women.

Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic contributed to the worldwide implementation of telemedicine because of the need for medical care for patients, especially those with chronic diseases. This perspective paper presents the current situation of telemedicine in Peru, showing advances in regulation, cases of successful implementation, and the current challenges. Access to health should be available to all, and more efforts need to be implemented to offer access to the internet to achieve high-quality telemedicine to all the vulnerable groups in Peru.

Abstract Introduction: The publication of articles on the circular economy has different associated factors to explain the citations registered in the Web of Science.
Method: Articles from the publishers Elsevier, MDPI, Taylor & Francis, Wiley, and Springer Nature were evaluated.
Results: It was expected that the older the article was, the more citations it had received, but this was not always the case. It was also recognized that there was a lower number of citations if the articles were too large or if they had too many references.
Discussion: This analysis helps to establish the factors that must be addressed in order to publish in journals that have a high citation rate. Conclusion: Based on speci?c articles and with speci?c references, it will be possible to increase the probability of citations.

Abstract IntroductionLatin America was the region most affected by COVID-19 in the second quarter of 2020, and consequently, the impact on mental health requires evaluation. The aim of this study was to assess the risk of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) caused by bereavement due to COVID-19 in 12 countries in Latin America.MethodsThe current study was an analytical cross-sectional study. Validated tests were applied for PTSD, depression, anxiety, and stress (DASS-21), questions about the respondent’s condition or their environment, and demographic questions, as well as the length of the mourning period of suffering.ResultsThe outcomes demonstrated that the PTSD risk increased for women (p < 0.001), when a friend or acquaintance had COVID-19 (p = 0.002), when a close relative died from COVID-19 (p = 0.010), having severe depression (p <0.001), severe anxiety (p <0.001), severe stress (p <0.001), residing in Chile (p <0.001), Paraguay (p <0.001), Bolivia (p <0.001), Costa Rica (p <0.001) or El Salvador (p = 0.005). On the other hand, there was less risk of PTSD at an older age (p <0.001) or if respondents had a sentimental partner (p = 0.025). In the case of severe PTSD, there was a greater gender risk for women (p <0.001), a close relative dying from COVID-19 (p = 0.017), having severe depression (p <0.001), severe anxiety (p <0.001), severe stress (p <0.001), residing in Chile (p <0.001), Paraguay (p <0.001), Bolivia (p <0.001) and Costa Rica (p = 0.002). It was also observed that there was less risk of severe PTSD at an older age demographic (p <0.001).DiscussionIt can be concluded that the percentages of PTSD are high in its clinical presentation as severe, especially among Latin American women.

Abstract COVID-19 has led to social isolation and a subsequent increase in online shopping has been observed. The present study is based on theory of reasoned action and focused on 371 Peruvian consumers, it seeks to evaluate the current effect of the website quality, customer satisfaction, and customer trust in online repurchases. The current study is cross-sectional and uses an online survey with 22 questions that evaluated consumers repurchase intentions. A technical SEM-PLS analysis was used. It was found that website quality had a positive influence on customer satisfaction, website quality positively influenced customer trust, customer satisfaction had a positive influence on customer trust, customer satisfaction had a positive influence on online repurchase intention, and customer trust had a positive influence on online repurchase intention. The model explained 20.6% of online repurchase intention behavior. Outcomes of the bootstrapping test were used to evaluate if path coefficients are significant. The outcomes can help companies to develop strategic plans to increase online purchasing. The novelty is based on using the partial least squares structural equation modeling (SEM-PLS) technique.

Abstract To the Editor: Godlee appraises the UK government’s response to covid-19.1 Peru is among the countries with the most covid-19 cases globally,2 reaching 178¿914 cases on 3 June.3 Regardless of this, on 18 May the Peruvian government started allowing supervised walks for people under 14 years old,4 following the Spanish measure implemented on 26 April.5 We have previously expressed our concern for this measure6 because it could lead to a rise in cases in children, who typically exhibit milder symptoms.7 Criticism led to the publication of an epidemiological alert prohibiting supervised walks in most of Peru because of the high risk of contagion.8 By that point, however, thousands of people had already been out with children, as shown in the media.
