    Abstract In the backdrop of the ‘dual carbon goal’, which aims to promote sustainable development of China, adoption of new energy vehicles (NEVs) is an important measure to help improve the environment, so it is of great significance to investigate the purchase intention of NEVs. Previous studies have established that subsidies and various product attributes could affect consumers’ purchase intention toward NEVs. As government subsidies have been on the decline in recent years, product attributes of NEVs need to be given more attention. However, there have been limited studies that quantitatively analyze the impact of product attributes of NEVs on purchase intention. Therefore, to fill this gap and help further expand the NEV market, this study investigated consumers’ adoption of NEVs empirically from the perception of product attributes. A questionnaire survey and structural equation model (SEM) were used for data collection and analysis. The results indicate that (1) both the functional and symbolic attributes of NEVs had a significant positive impact on consumers’ purchase intention; (2) both the functional and symbolic attributes of NEVs had a significant positive impact on consumers’ purchase intention through consumers’ perceived value; and (3) citizens’ environmental awareness positively moderated the relationship between products attributes and purchase intention. According to the results, to meet consumers’ needs of daily driving and self-image expression, new energy vehicle enterprises need to focus on improving the products in both functional and symbolic aspects by using various marketing strategies.

    Abstract Due to the complex network environment, the feedback information cannot be timely received by the controller. This article proposes a method on the exponential synchronization for the Markovian jump neural networks, which is achieved by designing a new asynchronous delayed-feedback controller, with its feedback delay taken into account. The quantized relationship between the exponential synchronization and the feedback delay is derived from a new designed Lyapunov functional, to acquire delay boundaries. With the help of a hidden-Markov process, the designed controller shows asynchrony, which allows controller modes to run free. In particular, the detection probability is assumed to be bounded known, marking a breakthrough over existing results. Moreover, the proposed method proves to be applicable in both synchronous and asynchronous cases. By using the proposed method, the computation freedom of the controller gain matrix can be substantially augmented. Further, comparative numerical studies are implemented to validate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method.

    Abstract The intrinsically low electrical conductivity and poor structural fragility of MnO2 have significantly hampered the zinc storage performance. In this work, Ba2+-implanted δ-MnO2 nanosheets have been hydrothermally grown on a carbon cloth (Ba-MnO2@CC) as an extremely stable and efficient cathode material of aqueous zinc-ion batteries. The three-dimensionally porous architecture composed of interwoven thin MnO2 nanosheets effectively shortens the electron/ion transport distances, enlarges the electrode/electrolyte contact area, and increases the active sites for the electrochemical reaction. Meanwhile, Ba2+ could function as an interlayer pillar to stabilize the crystal structure of MnO2. Consequently, the as-optimized Ba-MnO2@CC exhibits remarkable Zn2+ storage capabilities, such as a high capacity (305 mAh g-1 at 0.2 A g-1), prolonged lifespan (95% retention after a 200-cycling test), and superb rate capability. The binder-free cathode is also applicable for flexible energy storage devices with attractive properties. The present investigation provides important insights into designing advanced cathode materials toward wearable electronics.

    Abstract As the largest carbon emitter in the world, China aims to reach its peak carbon emissions goal by the year 2030, while the construction industry makes a significant contribution to carbon emissions, directly affecting the country’s commitment to meet its target. The present paper investigates the dynamic characteristics of carbon emissions released by China’s construction industry under single- and multiple-scenario settings with altering economic growth rates, optimizing energy structures, adjusting industrial structures, and modifying carbon emission policy factors. The research results show that the total carbon emissions generally present a steady increase from the year 2000 and will reach 12,880.40 million tons (MT) by 2030 under a scenario without any intervention. Indirect carbon emissions released from associated industries account for over 96% of the total carbon emissions, while direct carbon emissions make a minor contribution to the total. Single and comprehensive scenarios have positive effects on reducing emissions; it was also observed that only under energy structure scenario III and comprehensive scenario III could carbon emissions released from the construction sector reach a peak value by 2030. The effects of emissions reductions as a result of single policies can be presented in the following order: energy structure, economic growth, carbon emissions policy factor, and industrial structure. All of the emissions reduction effects of multiple scenarios are superior to the single scenarios. The research results provide a basis and guidance for policymakers to adopt the correct steps to fulfill China’s aim of achieving peak carbon emissions by the projected date.
