Abstract In this paper, we revisit the cold fusion (CF) phenomenon using the generalized Bolzmann kinetics theory which can represent the non-local physics of this CF phenomenon. This approach can identify the conditions when the CF can take place as the soliton creation under the influence of the intensive sound waves. The vast mathematical modelling leads to affirmation that all parts of soliton move with the same velocity and with the small internal change of the pressure. The zone of the high density is shaped on the soliton's front. It means that the regime of the 'acoustic CF' could be realized from the position of the non-local hydrodynamics.

Abstract In this paper we consider the levitation phenomenon using the generalized Bolzmann kinetics theory which can represent the non-local physics of levitation. This approach can identify the conditions when the levitation can take place under the influence of correlated electromagnetic and gravitational fields. The sufficient mathematical conditions of levitation are obtained. It means that the regime of levitation could be realized from the position of the non-local hydrodynamics.

Abstract The theory of the matter movement in a black hole in the frame of non-local quantum hydrodynamics (NLQHD) is considered. The theory corresponds to the limit case when the matter density tends to infinity. From calculations follow that NLQHD equations for the black hole space have the traveling wave solutions. The domain of the solution existence is limited by the event horizon where gravity tends to infinity. The simple analytical particular cases and numerical calculations are delivered.

Abstract The theory of gravitational waves in the frame of non - local quantum hydrodynamics (NLQH) is considered. From calculations follow that NLQH equations for “empty” space have the traveling wave solutions belonging in particular to the soliton class. The possible influence and reaction of the background microwave radiation is taken into account. These results lead to the principal correction of the inflation theory and serve as the explanation for the recent discovery of the universe’s cosmic microwave background anomalies. The simple analytical particular cases and numerical calculations are delivered. Proposal for astronomers—to find in the center domain of the hefty cold spot the smallest hot spot as the origin of the initial burst—Big Bang.

Abstract The unified generalized non-local theory is applied for mathematical modeling of cosmic objects. For the case of galaxies the theory leads to the flat rotation curves known from observations. The transformation of Kepler’s regime into the flat rotation curves for different solitons is shown. The Hubble expansion with acceleration is explained as result of mathematical modeling based on the principles of non-local physics. Peculiar features of the rotational speeds of galaxies and effects of the Hubble expansion need not in the introduction of new essence like dark matter and dark energy. The origin of difficulties consists in the total Oversimplification following from the principles of local physics.

Abstract The proton and electron charge inner structures are considered in the frame of the non-local quantum hydrodynamics based on the non-local physical description. From calculations follow that proton and electron can be considered like charged balls (shortly CB model) which charges are concentrated mainly in the shell of these balls. The proton-electron collision in the frame of CB-model should be considered as collision of two resonators . In this case can be explained a number of character collisional features depending on the initial and final electron energies and the scattering angles.

  9. Article ; Online: Russia's "impressionable years" and Putin's inheritance

Abstract: ... to which regions' electoral support for Boris Yeltsin dropped between the 1991 and 1996 presidential elections ...

Abstract In Russia, where the early transition's economic pain was not alleviated by the same emotive high of 'liberation and independence' experienced elsewhere in post-communist Europe, the drop in support for liberal economic and political values was comparatively steep and enduring. Evidence from the Integrated Values Survey (a combination of the World Values Survey and the European Values Study) demonstrates that Russians de-prioritized democratic freedoms and increased their support for an interventionist state in the economy between 1990 and 1995. The "values gap" that grew dramatically in the early 1990s between Russians and post-communist citizens elsewhere in Europe has persisted through the most recent wave of the Integrated Values Survey. This pattern - a "values gap" that opened in the early 1990s and persisted to the present day - is observable among men, women, and across different age cohorts. Within Russia, the degree to which regions' electoral support for Boris Yeltsin dropped between the 1991 and 1996 presidential elections explains more illiberal attitudes in the most recent wave of the Integrated Values Survey.

Abstract Hyperglycemia may contribute to the progression of carcinomas by triggering epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT). Some proteostasis systems are involved in metastasis; in this paper, we sought to explore the mechanism of Hsp70 chaperone in EMT. We showed that knockdown of Hsp70 reduced cell migration capacity concomitantly with levels of mRNA of the Slug, Snail, and Twist markers of EMT, in colon cancer cells incubated in high glucose medium. Conversely, treatment of cells with Hsp70 inducer U-133 were found to elevate cell motility, along with the other EMT markers. To prove that inhibiting Hsp70 may reduce EMT efficiency, we treated cells with a CL-43 inhibitor of the HSF1 transcription factor, which lowered Hsp70 and HSF1 content in the control and induced EMT in carcinoma cells. Importantly, CL-43 reduced migration capacity, EMT-linked transcription factors, and increased content of epithelial marker E-cadherin in colon cancer cells of three lines, including one derived from a clinical sample. To prove that Hsp70 chaperone should be targeted when inhibiting the EMT pathway, we treated cancer cells with 2-phenylethynesulfonamide (PES) and demonstrated that the compound inhibited substrate-binding capacity of Hsp70. Furthermore, PES suppressed EMT features, cell motility, and expression of specific transcription factors. In conclusion, the Hsp70 chaperone machine efficiently protects mechanisms of the EMT, and the safe inhibitors of the chaperone are needed to hamper metastasis at its initial stage.
