Abstract	Lead halide perovskites, owing to their flexible, scalable chemistry and promising physical properties are attracting increasing attention for solution-processed optoelectronic and photonic technologies. Despite their well-known 'defect tolerant' electronic structure, studies highlighted the active role of shallow and deep defect states, as well as of oxidative environmental conditions, on the optical and electrical behavior of perovskite nanocubes, films and single bulk crystals. To date, however, no in-depth systematic study of the surface trap-mediated processes in perovskite materials of different dimensionality has been conducted. In this work, we aim to bridge this gap by using O2 as a molecular probe for the effects of surface states on the exciton recombination processes of nanocubes (NCs), nanowires (NWs), nanosheets (NSs) and bulk single crystals (SCs) of CsPbBr3 perovskite. Continuous wave and time-resolved photoluminescence (PL) experiments in a controlled O2 atmosphere reveal the opposite optical response of NCs with respect to higher dimensional perovskites directly deriving from the different nature of the material surfaces. Specifically, O2 passivates surface hole-traps in NWs, NSs and SCs, leading to PL brightening with unaltered recombination dynamics. Conversely, NCs appear to be free from such surface hole-traps and exposure to O2 leads to direct extraction of photogenerated electrons that competes with radiative exciton recombination, leading to dimmed PL efficiency in atmospheric conditions. This opposite oxygen PL response demystifies the critical role of surface passivation in perovskite NCs in stark contrast to higher dimensional nanostructures and single crystals.

Abstract	Con el objeto de cuantificar lo que acontece, entre los integrantes del equipo de salud en el ámbito público y privado de la ciudad de Córdoba, se lleva a cabo la presente investigación. Diseño observacional transversal comparativo sobre muestra estratificada de médicos y fisioterapeutas. La recolección de datos se realizó mediante encuesta de auto-reporte de "Maslach Burnout lnventory' (MBI). Fueron estudiados 479 profesionales. el 22,3%(107) eran Fisioterapeutas y Kinesiólogos y 77.7% (372) Médicos de diferentes especialidades. Se puede concluir que en el ámbito público, los valores de cansancio emocional se hallan en los rangos publicados, despersonalización y falta de realización personal son menores. Entre los hospitales no difieren significativamente. En el Hospital General del ámbito Provincial, el Burnout es similar al de otros países y superior al de los dos locales. En el ámbito privado los niveles de cansancio emocional son significativamente mayores que en el público, en el Servicio de Emergencia los valores exceden los rangos publicados. Entre los Pre-Resiclentes, los niveles de estrés son moderados y no parecen variar: el Burnout se hallaría por debajo de los niveles esperados. El estrés promedio de los fisioterapeutas y kinesióiogos se halla en niveles moderados y es menor al de médicos del ámbito público de la ciudad de Córdoba. pero comparable al de los residentes y clínicos. Los especialistas Medicina Legal del Ministerio Público Fiscal. Presentan el más alto porcentaje de síndrome de Burnout completo.

Abstract	Este trabalho pretende discorrer sobre os vários signifi cados que o termo individualismo pode assumir na sociedade hipermoderna. Isso será feito a partir da elaboração de uma tipologia dos indivíduos: indivíduo pouco indivíduo indivíduo muito indivíduo e indivíduo narcísico altruísta , mostrando que o último tipo é o que melhor expressa a sociedade de hoje: uma sociedade paradoxal na qual coabitam sentidos contrários. E é exatamente em função das contradições e paradoxos que se pode acenar com otimismo para as possibilidades do indivíduo: ele pode ser, a um só tempo, obcecado por si mesmo e sensível ao outro. This article aims at discussing the variety of meanings that the term individualism may assume in the hypermodern society. The article addresses it by the creation of a typology of individuals: “less individual”, “very much” and “narcissistic-altruistic”. The last one best fi ts to describe our society: a paradoxical society in where contradictory meanings live side-by-side. In fact, contradictions and paradoxes are the reason for optimism: individuals can be at the same time extremely in love for themselves and sensitive to others. Keywords: Individualism. Title translation	The professional wearing down or syndrome of welfare labor stress ("burnout") among health professionals in the city of Cordoba.
Abstract	With the intention of quantifying what occurs, between the members of the equipment of health in the public and deprived scope of the city of Cordoba, the present investigation is carried out. Comparative cross-sectional design observacional on stratified sample of doctors and fisioterapeutas. The data collection was made by means of survey of car-reports of "Maslach Burnout Inventory" (MBI). 479 professionals were studied, 22.3% (107) they were Fisioterapeutas and Kinesiólogos and 77.7% (372) Doctors of different specialties. It is possible to be concluded that in the public scope, the values of emotional fatigue are in the published ranks, despersonalizaci6n and lack of personal accomplishment is smaller. Between the hospitals they do not differ significantly. In the General Hospital of the Provincial scope, the Burnout is similar to the one of other countries and superior to the one of both local. In the private scope the levels of emotional fatigue are significantly greater than in the public, in the Service of Emergency the values exceed the published ranks. Between Pre-Residentes, the stress levels are moderate and they do not seem to vary; the Burnout would be below the awaited levels. Stress average of fisioterapeutas and kinesiólogos is in moderate levels and is smaller to the one of doctors of the public scope of the city of Cordova, but comparable to the one of the clinical residents and. The specialists Legal Medicine of the Fiscal Public Ministry, present/display the highest percentage of syndrome of complete Burnout.

Abstract	A busca pela excelência na estética facial tem sido uma realidade nos consultórios dos profissionais de saúde. Dentre os aspectos procurados pelos pacientes, destaca-se o aumento do contorno dos lábios, cada vez mais realizado e pesquisado por dermatologistas e cirurgiões-plásticos. Embora bons resultados sejam alcançados com os mais diversos procedimentos para preenchimento labial, a literatura mostra diversas complicações e efeitos colaterais. Este artigo demonstra, por meio de 2 casos clínicos, como a Ortodontia pode representar uma excelente ferramenta para auxiliar no aumento do contorno dos lábios, tornando a abordagem multidisciplinar uma estratégia mais efetiva na conquista de bons resultados clínicos In recent years, facial esthetics excellence has become a major focus in health professional offices and for the public worldwide. Among the main concerns of the patients is lip augmentation, since it has been associated with beauty and youth. This procedure has been increasingly performed and studied by dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Although good outcomes for lip augmentation have been achieved with different techniques, literature shows several complications and collateral effects. This paper demonstrates, through two clinical cases, how Orthodontics may be an excellent tool to assist in lip augmentation, highlighting the need for an interdisciplinary approach to enhance a more effective strategy to achieve facial esthetics goals

Abstract	Background: Carotid artery stenting has been used effectively to treat internal carotid artery stenosis since 1989 (Mathias et al. in World J Surg. 25(3):328-34, 2001), with refined and expanded techniques and tools presently delivering outstanding results in percutaneous endoluminal treatment of carotid artery stenosis. Purpose: This CIRSE Standards of Practice document is directed at interventional radiologists and details the guidelines for carotid artery stenting, as well as the different implementation techniques. In addition to updating all previously published material on the different clinical indications, it will provide all technical details reflective of European practice for carotid artery stenting. CIRSE Standards of Practice documents do not aim to implement a standard of clinical patient care, but rather to provide a realistic strategy and best practices for the execution of this procedure. Methods: The writing group, which was established by the CIRSE Standards of Practice Committee, consisted of five clinicians with internationally recognised expertise in carotid artery stenting procedures. The writing group reviewed existing literature on carotid artery stenting procedures, performing a pragmatic evidence search using PubMed to select relevant publications in the English language from 2006 to 2022. Results: Carotid artery stenting has an established role in the management of internal carotid artery stenosis; this Standards of Practice document provides up-to-date recommendations for its safe performance.

Abstract	La medicina académica de hoy se halla en crisis, tal vez de las más profundas por las cuales ha atravesado, existiendo consenso en torno a la idea de que está sufriendo un creciente proceso de deterioro en su calidad. En ese orden, muchos observadores aseguran que la capacidad médica para investigar, pensar y enseñar se halla colapsada, tras haber soportado un creciente proceso de deterioro en su calidad. Ello ha generado una gran preocupación, reflejada en una campaña internacional a favor de su revitalización que ocupa las páginas de las principales revistas blomédicas. Distintas razones sido aportados por integrantes de diferentes escuelas para explicar esta situación La falta de un adecuado manejo de los fondos por parte de los gobiernos de universidades y centros de investigación, han conducido a que gran parte de ellos adquieran una inevitable dependencia económica de la industria. Concomitantemente, las magras remuneraciones de los clínicos académicos en comparación con las de sus pares no académicos que participan en la industria, han generado desplazamientos determinantes, por lo menos parciales, de la crisis. De este modo, gradualmente, los universitarios se han ido ligando a los propósitos comerciales de la investigación de la industria farmacéutica. Estas relaciones crean oportunidades para el intercambio de información útil, pero a su vez pueden general potenciales conflictos de intereses, particularmente en el área de la investigación clínica. Otros aspectos a señalar resultan de la situación conflictiva planteada por la necesidad de los docentes de optar entre la preservación de su práctica privada lucrativa o su dedicación a la docencia en las escuelas de medicina y la conservación de la eficacia de su labor asistencial en las mismas. La intrincada relación entre medicina académica y funcionamiento del sistema de atención médica, siempre ha tenido matices muy complejos. Abstract	BACKGROUND Recent discoveries in the field of immunometabolism, and on the role of the serine-threonine kinase mTOR as a sensor of nutrients, integrator of cellular signaling pathways, and regulator of metabolism, have widened our understanding of the connection between nutrition, health, and diseases. Epidemiological studies have shown that higher sugar-sweetened beverage consumption is associated with increased risk of developing chronic diseases, including cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes mellitus, obesity, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, gout, and rheumatoid arthritis and to worse symptoms in some patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Anabolic metabolism has been demonstrated to favor the differentiation of proinflammatory T lymphocytes while katabolic metabolism to favor regulatory T lymphocyte differentiation. CASE REPORT In a 66-year old male, the onset of gonarthritis and enthesitis and worsening of these symptoms 3 months later were associated with excessive intake of desserts. Two weeks after starting strict avoidance of sugar containing nutrients and beverages symptoms disappeared. During the next 6 months, on 3 occasions, the exceptional consumption of a dessert was followed by a mild and transient recurrence of the symptoms. CONCLUSIONS The repeatedly observed recurrence of enthesitis/arthritis symptoms following sugar intake and its disappearance following avoidance of sugar, represents an extreme example of a link between metabolism and local inflammation in the reported individual. The rapid absorption of the monosaccharides glucose and fructose from the intestine, where they derive from hydrolysis of the disaccharide sucrose (sugar) might lead to overactivation of mTOR if not counterbalanced by other mTOR interfering mechanisms.
