Abstract Kelebek gözlemciliği, son yıllarda önemli bir yaban hayatı gözlemciliği ve özel ilgi turizm faaliyetidir.

Abstract The pyrrolo[1,2-a]quinoxaline skeleton has significant potential for many biological and optical applications. Hence, in this study, unconjugated ynone derivatives were treated with 1,2-diaminoarenes in a gold-catalyzed cyclization to give 2-(1 H -pyrrol-1-yl)anilines, which are valuable starting materials, and pyrrolo[1,2- a ]quinoxalines by a one-pot and single-step approach. A reaction mechanism for the formation of the pyrrolo[1,2- a ]quinoxaline skeleton featuring a key gold carbene intermediate is proposed. On the other hand, the methyl group on the C-2 position of the 2-(1 H -pyrrol-1-yl)anilines was oxidized by SeO 2 to give the pyrrolo[1,2- a ]quinoxaline skeleton, resulting in 14 different pyrrolo[1,2- a ]quinoxaline derivatives.

Abstract Myofibroblastoma (MFB) is a rare benign spindle cell tumor originating from myofibroblasts in the breast stroma. MFB typically presents as a slow-growing, well-circumscribed, solitary mass ranging from 1 to 4 cm in size. It has been reported in adults, and frequently seen in older males and in postmenopausal females. The lesion is composed of stromal cells showing fibroblastic and myofibroblastic differentiation at the morphological, immunohistochemical and ultrastructural levels. To date, the literature includes only about 24 MFB cases confirmed via fine-needle aspiration and cytological evaluation. Here, we present a patient with MFB that was diagnosed via conventional smear slides and cell block, in addition to immunohistochemical analysis.

Abstract Using the Multilevel Model of Emotional in Organizations, this study investigates whether managers’ levels of social intelligence affect employees’ emotional labor and the emotional climate of the workplace. In addition, the mediating effect of emotional labor on social intelligence and emotional climate is defined. A total of 276 surveys were distributed among the employees of a chain hotel in Istanbul. A structural equality modeling was used to explain the relationships between social intelligence, emotional labor, and emotional climate. The results reveal that social intelligence positively and significantly affects deep acting. It is also shown that social intelligence does not affect the emotional climate, and that emotional labor has no intermediary role. Practical results and recommendations are thus suggested for future research.

Abstract Mülki Tatbikat-ı Baytariyye Mektebi is a vocational college opened in October 1910 with the aim of educating specialist staff to strengthen the organization of the Ottoman State’s civilian veterinary medicine. In the establishment of the school, the main objective was to provide an effective fight against epidemic animal diseases. It was planned to train specialist officers who would be able to provide vocational services in the veterinary profession in a short time through this school which was established firstly as Muavin Baytar Mektebi. Thus, a more effective struggle against epidemic diseases would be achieved. The main subject of this study is the School’s Internal Service Regulation (Partial Instruction). In the work supported by the archival records of the primary source, the contributions of Mülki Tatbikat-ı Baytariyye Mektebi to the history of Turkish veterinary medicine are tried to be evaluated.

Abstract An increase in seawater temperatures can cause ecological problems in aquatic organisms. In the study based on this idea; Turkey's sea surface temperatures were examined on an annual basis and determined increase rate which are chancing along the coasts were evaluated with geographic information systems. The data used in the study were obtained from the Turkish State Meteorological Service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Between 1970 and 2019, sea surface temperatures of the Black Sea, Mediterranean, Aegean, and Marmara were examined and the 50-year analysis results were processed in the ArcGIS environment and sea surface temperature maps were prepared along the Turkey’s coasts. As a result of the work; sea surface temperatures averages were continued to increase as close to each other with changing trend in the period from 1970 to 2000, The sea surface temperatures were increased by 0.8°C in the Black Sea, 0.5°C in the Mediterranean, 0.4°C in the Marmara and the Aegean seas between the years 2000-2010, compared to the previous period (1990-1999). The increase in sea surface temperatures means were became evident especially in the 2010-2019 period. When the sea surface temperatures averages were compared between 1970-1979 and 2010-2019; It was observed that the sea surface temperatures averages were increased by 1.2 ° C in the Black Sea and the Mediterranean, 0.9 ° C in the Aegean Sea, and 1.5 ° C in the Marmara Sea. The possible effects of this temperature increase in seawater on ecological balance were discussed.

Abstract Background: Postoperative hypocalcemia is one of the major concerns following thyroidectomy and the most frequent cause of prolonged hospital stay. The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between body composition parameters and symptomatic hypocalcemia following total thyroidectomy. In addition, the effects of disease- and patient-related factors on hypocalcemia were investigated.
Methods: A total of 144 patients were prospectively included between March 2014 and September 2017. Patients were divided into 2 groups according to the presence or absence of clinical symptoms of hypocalcemia. Subsequently, the relationship between body composition parameters and hypocalcemia was evaluated.
Results: Postoperative hypocalcemia-related symptoms occurred in 28 patients (19.4%). Permanent hypocalcemia was not encountered in any patient. Patients with hypocalcemic symptoms were more likely to have nodules ≥40 mm (39.3% vs. 17.2%,
Discussion: This study demonstrates that patients with lower preoperative iPTH levels, retrosternal goiters, central LND, and parathyroid autotransplantation are at an increased risk of developing clinical symptoms of hypocalcemia. Body composition parameters have no effect on the incidence of hypocalcemia after total thyroidectomy.
