Abstract Objectives: the article seeks to analyze the strategy employed by the Museo del Prado to reach new audiences through its TikTok profile. Methodology: a double methodology is proposed: on the one hand quantitative, based on the technique of Social Network Analysis (SNA) to measure relationships and flows in the interactions and metrics of users of social networks, and on the other hand qualitative, based on a content analysis of the various videos that the Museo del Prado has uploaded to its TikTok profile. Results: as a result of the quantitative analysis, we discovered that the Museo del Prado's TikTok profile is one of the largest museum profiles in the world, with several viral videos and hundreds of thousands of interactions. In turn, the qualitative analysis shows us a series of characteristics shared by the profile's videos that can be synthesized into three parameters: pedagogical content, informal tone and images recognizable to the public. Finally, it is revealed that TikTok’s profile follows the strategy of displaying that which is hidden in the museum's exhibitions.

Abstract The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has introduced the medical community to a lung disease heretofore unknown to most clinicians. In much of the discourse about COVID-19 lung disease, the more familiar clinical entity of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) has been used as the guiding paradigm. Reflecting on studies in ARDS, particularly that caused by influenza, and on data from the SARS-CoV and MERS epidemics, many authorities, including those within the discipline of infectious diseases, were initially passionate in their opposition to the use of corticosteroids for lung involvement in COVID-19. The voice of the pulmonology community—the community of lung experts—has continued to be among the quietest in this conversation. Herein we offer our perspective as academic pulmonologists who encountered COVID-19 in its first United States epicenter of New York City. We encourage a conceptual separation between early COVID-19 lung involvement and ARDS. We draw on history with other immune cell-mediated lung diseases, on insights from the SARS-CoV experience, and on frontline observations in an attempt to allay the skepticism towards corticosteroids in COVID-19 lung disease that is likely to persist even as favorable study results emerge.

Abstract Grieving is a natural, self-limiting process of adaptation to a new reality following a significant loss, either real or perceived, with a wide range of manifestations that have an impact on the health of the grieving individual. This study aims to analyse the relationships between interpersonal styles, coping strategies, and psychosocial care needs in a sample of mourners in a rural municipality. Initial hypothesis: there are associations between types of grief and psychosocial needs, as well as between types of grief and interpersonal styles or coping strategies. An observational, descriptive, analytical, cross-sectional study was carried out with a sample of 123 people. Female participants represented 64.2% of all participants. The mean age was 42.7 (±13.2) years, and 86.2% of participants reported continuing to suffer from the loss, with a 10.5% prevalence of

Abstract Continuing Bonds among grieving men from Costa Rica and Spain were compared, with the primary hypothesis that there would be significant differences between the two groups. A descriptive, comparative, and cross-sectional research study was conducted. Non-probability and convenience sampling was employed, involving 227 grieving men who completed an online questionnaire comprising sociodemographic data, mediators of mourning, and the Continuing Bonds Scale. The results did not reveal significant differences in Continuing Bonds expressions. However, upon controlling for the interaction between degree of kinship with the deceased person, notable differences emerged in Continuing Bonds and internalized and externalized Continuing Bonds (

Abstract This paper presents a multi-agent system that is able to search people on a database of images recognizing patterns of facial features on each person, based on the main features of the face (eyes, nose and mouth). Using that multi-agent architecture, the system can do the work faster applying Fisherfaces algorithm for the face recognition and classification. This technology can be used for several purposes like specific ads in each user group to suit better their interests or search for the age and gender of people that usually go to different places like malls or shops.

Abstract Since the beginning of 2020, COVID-19 has had a strong impact on the health of the world population. The mostly used approach to stop the epidemic is the application of controls of a classic epidemic such as case isolation, contact monitoring, and quarantine, as well as physical distancing and hygienic measures. Tracing the contacts of infected people is one of the main strategies for controlling the pandemic. Manual contact tracing is a slow, error-prone (by omission or forgotten) process, and vulnerable in terms of security and privacy. Furthermore, it needs to be carried out by specially trained personnel and it is not effective in identifying contacts with strangers (for example in public transport, supermarkets, etc). Given the high rates of contagion, which makes difficult an effective manual contact tracing, multiple initiatives arose for developing digital proximity tracing technologies. In this paper, we discuss in depth the security and personal data protection requirements that these technologies must satisfy, and we present an exhaustive and detailed list of the various applications that have been deployed globally, as well as the underlying infrastructure models and technologies they used. In particular, we identify potential threats that could undermine the satisfaction of the analyzed requirements, violating hegemonic personal data protection regulations.

Abstract Over the last years, existing technologies have been applied to agricultural environments, resulting in new precision agriculture systems. Some of the multiple profits of developing new agricultural technologies and applications include the cost reduction around the building and deployment of them, together with more energy-efficient consumption. Therefore, agricultural precision systems focus on developing better, easier, cheaper, and overall more efficient ways of handling agricultural monitoring and actuation. To achieve this vision, we use a set of technologies such as Wireless Sensor Networks, Sensors devices, Internet of Things, or data analysis. More specifically, in this study, we proposed a combination of all these technologies to design and develop a prototype of a precision agriculture system for medium and small agriculture plantations that highlights two major advantages: efficient energy management with self-charging capabilities and a low-cost policy. For the development of the project, several prototype nodes were built and deployed within a sensor network connected to the cloud as a self-powered system. The final target of this system is, therefore, to gather environment data, analyze it, and actuate by activating the watering installation. An analysis of the exposed agriculture monitoring system, in addition to results, is exposed in the paper.
