    Abstract In the era of knowledge economy, the competition between countries and enterprises is increasingly manifested in the competition of talents and education system. In this article, aiming at the drawbacks of the traditional HRM model of university teachers, we design and construct a management innovation model and decision-making model based on intelligent big data analysis. This article introduces DM technology. It also introduces the related knowledge of DM and the analysis and design process of HRM decision system. In this system, DM technology is used to analyze and process the existing data, predict the future situation, and provide auxiliary support for decision-making. Through simulation, the decision-making accuracy of this model can reach 95.68%, which is about 10.02% higher than other systems. It has certain practicability and reliability. This article makes a useful attempt for the application of DM technology in HRM. The research in this article is expected to play an important decision-making reference and service support for HRM of university teachers and further promote the development of HRM innovation of university teachers.

    Abstract After some initial controversy, an inverted U-shape relationship between the consumption of alcohol and earnings seems to be an established result, at least in North America. It has been dubbed a "drinking premium", at least in the lower portion of the consumption curve. It is still unclear, perhaps even counter-intuitive, why such a drinking premium exists and the literature suggests it is not causal but results rather from selection effects. We suggest here that part of the premium is linked to occupation: some occupations pay better, controlling for the usual human capital determinants, and also attract drinkers or induce workers to drink more. Using a sample of full-time employed or self-employed individuals aged 25-64 and not in poor health from the 2015-16 Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS), we confirm the existence of a drinking premium and a positive return to the quantity or frequency of drinking up to high levels of consumption. Using information on jobs held by respondents, linked to a data set of job characteristics, we find that controlling for job characteristics reduces the premium or return to drinking by approximately 30% overall, and up to 50% for female workers.

    Abstract In recent years, the early orthodontic treatment of malocclusion has become a hot issue in the field of orthodontics. Some new phenomena and new problems that have emerged require in-depth analysis and discussion, and need to be given correct guidance and norms. Malocclusion refers to the deformities of teeth, jaws, and craniofacial bones caused by genetic and environmental factors during growth and development. Based on the accurate judgment of the etiology and diagnosis, choosing the right time and suitable indications, with the advantage of growth and development, the most suitable appliance can be selected in the early stage of malocclusion to fix malocclusion, and to effectively prevent and block the formation and development of malocclusion. This article will discuss how to timely and appropriately carry out the early prevention and treatment of malocclusion with six aspects, including methods of performing early orthodontic treatment, the basis and guarantee of early orthodontic treatment, correctly understanding early orthodontic treatment, the issues that should be paid attention to in carrying out early orthodontic treatment, actively advocating multidisciplinary cooperation during early orthodontic treatment and understanding face management in a serious way.

    Abstract In the study published by Sun et al., a systematic review and meta-analysis illustrated the advantageous of stem cell therapy in diabetic foot and can improve the quality of life of patients. Nevertheless, the authors had a lack of knowledge regarding the methodology of the meta-analysis, which had four main aspects: (1) The textual report is inconsistent with the forest plot results, i.e., the authors have insufficient knowledge of RevMan. (2) The "zero event" needs to be corrected for summary analysis. (3) Lack of aesthetics in the forest plots. (4) Registration is recommended for systematic reviews and meta-analyses.

    Abstract To address the problem of large deformations in weak surrounding rock tunnels under high ground stress, which cause damage to initial support structures, this study proposes a novel type of circumferential pressure-relief joint based on the concept of relieving deformation pressure of the surrounding rock. Key parameters of the pressure-relief joint, such as initial bearing capacity peak, constant bearing capacity, and allowable pressure-relief displacement, were obtained through numerical simulations and laboratory experiments. A comparison was made between the mechanical characteristics of rigid joints and the new type of pressure-relief joint. The applicability of the pressure-relief joint was verified through field tests, monitoring the surrounding rock pressure, internal forces in the steel frames, and the convergence displacement of the support structure. The results show that: (1) In the elastic stage, the stiffness of the new pressure-relief joint is similar to that of rigid joints. In the plastic stage, rigid joints fail directly, whereas the pressure-relief joint can control deformation and effectively release the deformation pressure of the surrounding rock while providing a constant bearing capacity. (2) The right arch foot in the experiment had poor rock quality, leading to high stress in the steel frame and significant horizontal displacement. After the deformation of the pressure-relief joint, the stress in the surrounding rock and steel frame significantly reduced, and the rate of horizontal deformation of the support structure slowed down. (3) The vertical and horizontal final displacements of the pressure-relief joint in the experiment were 61mm and 15mm, respectively, which did not exceed the allowable deformation values. The components of the support structure remained intact, ensuring safety. However, this study has limitations: the design of the new pressure-relief joint only allows for a vertical deformation of 150mm and a horizontal deformation of 50mm, limiting the range of pressure-relief deformation.

    Abstract COVID-19 caused by the novel coronavirus, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, (SARS-CoV-2) is a highly contagious disease known for its significant lung damage. Although the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our daily lives has been limited, the virus has not vanished entirely and continues to undergo mutations. This calls for a concentrated focus on the matter of SARS-CoV-2 immune evasion. Drawing on observations of immune escape mechanisms in other viruses, some scholars have proposed that liquid-liquid phase separation might play a crucial role in SARS-CoV-2's ability to evade the immune system. Within the structure of SARS-CoV-2, the nucleocapsid protein plays a pivotal role in RNA replication and transcription. Concurrently, this protein can engage in phase separation with RNA. A thorough examination of the phase separation related to the nucleocapsid protein may unveil the mechanism by which SARS-CoV-2 accomplishes immune evasion. Moreover, this analysis may provide valuable insights for future development of innovative antiviral drugs or vaccines.

    Abstract The United Nations reported that the mortality risk of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is five times higher in the elderly than the global average. Although the COVID-19 vaccine effectively prevents infections and reduce mortality among the elderly, vaccine hesitancy among the Chinese elderly poses a significant threat. This study, utilizing the "Confidence, Convenience and Complacency (3 Cs)" vaccine hesitancy model, aimed to explore factors contributing to vaccine hesitancy among the Chinese elderly and assess national countermeasures and potential improvement approaches. Thirteen elderly with vaccine hesitancy and eleven vaccine-related staff participated in semi-structured interviews. Thematic analysis revealed three key determinants of vaccine hesitancy among the elderly: perceived low threat of COVID-19, lack of confidence in COVID-19 vaccine, and poor accessibility to vaccination. China has implemented strategies, including advocacy through diverse channels, joint multi-sectoral promotion vaccination, and enhancing ongoing vaccination services. Recommendations from the vaccine-related staff emphasize improving vaccine awareness among the elderly, and prioritizing the vaccination environment and process. The study underscores the importance of targeted vaccination promotion programs addressing hesitation reasons to improve vaccination rates. Furthermore, existing countermeasures can serve as a foundation for enhancing vaccination strategies, including improved publicity, administration, and management approaches.
