Abstract Recently discovered Spectre and meltdown attacks affects almost all processors by leaking confidential information to other processes through side-channel attacks. These vulnerabilities expose design flaws in the architecture of modern CPUs. To fix these design flaws, it is necessary to make changes in the hardware of modern processors which is a non-trivial task. Software mitigation techniques for these vulnerabilities cause significant performance degradation. In order to mitigate against Spectre and Meltdown attacks while retaining the performance benefits of modern processors, in this paper, we present a real-time detection mechanism for Spectre and Meltdown attacks by identifying the misuse of speculative execution and side-channel attacks. We use hardware performance counters and software events to monitor activity related to speculative execution, branch prediction, and cache interference. We use various machine learning models to analyze these events. These events produce a very distinctive pattern while the system is under attack; machine learning models are able to detect Meltdown and Spectre attacks under realistic load conditions with an accuracy of over 99%.

Abstract Reading comprehension and vocabulary are important academic outcomes. Between students, vocabulary skill is closely related to reading comprehension skill. The current study aims at investigating the effect of developing lexical meaning on Iraq EFL in reading comprehension. To filful the aim of the study, the researcher adopted a null hypothesis which indicates that there is no significant difference between students’ performance who used new techniques in developing lexical meaning in reading comprehension of that do not use. To achieve the aim of the current study an eight weeks experiment was conducted on one experimental group with pre and posttest. The experiment was started on 11 October and ended in 16th January, 2016. At the end of the experiment, the calculated results have shown that there is a statistically significance difference between the performance of the students on the pre and that of the posttest. Finally, the researcher has put down some conclusions, recommendations and suggestions for further research.

Abstract Introduction: Peripheral lymphadenopathy is a common clinical entity. It is significant as the underlying cause could range from a simple infection to a malignant lesion which could be either primary or metastatic. Fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) is the first line of investigation usually done to diagnose enlarged lymph nodes. Materials and Methods: This retroprospective study was done in the Department of Pathology, Government Medical College, Haldwani, from January 2008 to December 2018. Relevant details of the patients were taken from the records. The cytological diagnosis and site were noted and divided into major diagnostic categories with respect to age group, sex, and site. Results: A total of 16,985 cases were studied. About 42% showed reactive morphology, 31.77% were tubercular, 23.65% metastatic lesions, 2.49% were hematological malignancies, and only 0.08% were parasitic. The cervical lymph node was the most common site aspirated and it was also the most common site for metastasis (60.45%). Among the metastatic lesions, squamous cell carcinoma accounted for maximum cases (69.10%). Conclusion: FNAC is a simple procedure for investigating enlarged peripheral lymph nodes. The underlying cause may vary depending on the sociodemographic profile of the patients. It is a safe and effective procedure for giving a quick and reliable diagnosis in peripheral lymphadenopathy, thereby avoiding unnecessary excision biopsy.

Abstract Background: The advantages of probiotic administration for acute diarrhoea are mainly shorter duration of symptoms as well as reduced number of stools per day while use of traditional yogurt has similar results. So, this study was conducted to compare the efficacy of yogurt with probiotic in children with acute gastroenteritis.
Methods: This randomized controlled trial was conducted at department of Paediatrics, Children Hospital, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Islamabad over 1 year. A total of nine hundred and thirty (930) children between 1-5 years of age presenting with acute diarrhoea were enrolled and equally randomized to Group-A (yogurt) and Group-B (lactobacillus rhamnosus) with ORS. The primary outcome was mean frequency of diarrhoea in first 24 hours after initiation of treatment in both the groups.
Results: Gender distribution revealed that out of 930 patients, 643 (69.1%) were male and 287 (30.9%) were female while the mean age was 3.14±1.18 years. Mean duration of disease was 4.23±2.02 days. Mean no. of stools in first 24 hours after treatment in Group-A (yogurt) was 3.25±1.64 and 3.29±1.74 in Group-B (probiotics). Student t-test for independent samples was applied and no significant difference was found between the two groups (p=0.713).
Conclusions: Mean frequency of diarrhoea in first 24 hours after treatment with traditional yogurt and commercially available probiotics was not statistically significant in this study.

Abstract e-Customer Relationship Management (e-CRM) helps business use technology and human recourses to gain insight into the behavior of customer and the value of those customers. The main objective of this paper is to investigate the antecedents of e-CRM performance and its impact on customer loyalty and Customer-switching intention (CSI). A conceptual model, adapted from Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), was built to relate Customer Privacy (CP) and Customer-Switching Intention (CSI) to e-CRM performance of Jordanian Mobile Services. Self-administered questionnaires were used to collect the data from University's students were selected as the respondents for this research. This paper will describe literature review of CRM and e-CRM, customer factors that including CP and CSI. Also, Will describe research model based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Hypotheses. The data collocation, sample, Analysis of data and desiccation of results.

Abstract A graph’s entropy is a functional one, based on both the graph itself and the distribution of probability on its vertex set. In the theory of information, graph entropy has its origins. Dominating David derived networks have a variety of important applications in medication store, hardware, and system administration. In this study, we discuss dominating David derived network of type 1, 2, and 3 written as D1n, D2n, and D3n, respectively of order n. We also compute some degree-based entropies such as Randić, ABC, and GA entropy of D1n, D2n, and D3n.

Abstract Abstract Background Patients diagnosed with inborn errors of metabolism (IBEM) often present with compromised bone health leading to low bone density, bone pain, fractures, and short stature. Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) is the current gold standard for clinical assessment of bone in the general population and has been adopted for monitoring bone density in IBEM patients. However, IBEM patients are at greater risk for scoliosis, short stature and often have orthopedic hardware at standard DXA scan sites, limiting its use in these patients. Furthermore, DXA is limited to measuring areal bone mineral density (BMD), and does not provide information on microarchitecture. Methods In this study, microarchitecture was investigated in IBEM patients (n = 101) using a new three-dimensional imaging technology high-resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography (HR-pQCT) which scans at the distal radius and distal tibia. Volumetric BMD and bone microarchitecture were computed and compared amongst the different IBEMs. For IBEM patients over 16 years-old (n = 67), HR-pQCT reference data was available and Z-scores were calculated. Results Cortical bone density was significantly lower in IBEMs associated with decreased bone mass when compared to lysosomal storage disorders (LSD) with no primary skeletal pathology at both the radius and tibia. Cortical thickness was also significantly lower in these disorders when compared to LSD with no primary skeletal pathology at the radius. Cortical porosity was significantly greater in hypophosphatasia when compared to all other IBEM subtypes. Conclusion We demonstrated compromised bone microarchitecture in IBEMs where there is primary involvement of the skeleton, as well as IBEMs where skeletal complications are a secondary outcome. In conclusion, our findings suggest HR-pQCT may serve as a valuable tool to monitor skeletal disease in the IBEM population, and provides insight to the greatly varying bone phenotype for this cohort that can be used for clinical monitoring ...
