Abstract Despite all controversies, men and women are also social concepts that changed over time as well as the power relation between men and women changed over time. Different forces have impacted this change and some cannot be omitted when talking about how masculinities are reshaped nowadays and here we think at the feminist movement and in counterpart - the conservative one, but also the neoliberalism and its principles and values (mainly the pressure of extending markets and selling goods). In this broader context, in this paper we first look closer at the concept of care and how men can be and become over time caregivers, especially as fathers, why this is important, what are the figures regarding sharing care responsibilities between men and women. Second, we discuss the way in which connecting men with care is represented in a broader arena that we call the popular culture, and here we focus especially on a relatively new phenomenon called “dadfluencing” – as men that are fathers, that are communicating about this experience especially on social media and that are trying to have an influence on their audience/public. Last but not least, in this paper we will present the findings of a small qualitative research that we have done on two Romanian “dadfluencers”, namely on their Facebook pages, field research that we conducted in order to give a possible answer to the following research questions: What kind of masculinities are promoted by the two influencers? Can the content promoted be connected to any kind of feminist discourse that engages critical changings in traditional gender roles or it remains mainly a conservative one? Or in fact we are facing a new way of selling goods in a neoliberal world of markets and consumers that uses the image of the caring father in order to increase profit?

Abstract Introduction: Prognosis after electrical storm (ES) ablation remains severe, especially in patients with recurrent sustained monomorphic ventricular tachycardia (SMVT) or progressive heart failure (HF). However, single-factor-based prediction is suboptimal and may be refined by more complex algorithms. We sought to evaluate if a novel score MSA-VT (M = moderate/severe mitral regurgitation, S = severe HF at admission, A = atrial fibrillation at admission, VT = inducible SMVT after ablation) may improve prediction of death and recurrences compared to single factors and previous scores (PAINESD, RIVA and I-VT).
Methods: A total of 101 consecutive ES ablation patients were retrospectively analyzed over a 32.8-month (IQR 10-68) interval. The MSA-VT score was calculated as the sum of the previously mentioned factors' coefficients based on hazard ratio values in Cox regression analysis. The AUC for death prediction by MSA-VT was 0.84 (
Conclusions: Prediction by single factors and previously published scores after ES ablation may be improved by the novel MSA-VT score; however, this requires further external validation in larger samples.

Abstract Increasing innovation among the European Union (EU) countries became a primary concern, as it can contribute to higher competitiveness, generate new business opportunities, and promote the achievement of the sustainable development goals. This paper aims to examine the extent to which the EU countries’ level of digitalisation and skills adequacy impact the innovation output, as well as to determine whether the level of digitalisation can lead to an increase in the individuals’ competencies and employability. For this research, we leverage a Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modelling technique. The data used to achieve the study’s objective was collected from composite indicators computed for the 27 EU countries for a period of analysis spanning the years from 2017 to 2020. As a proxy for the digital performance, we use the Digital Economy and Society Index, while for skills adequacy and innovation output, we utilise the European Skills Index and the dimension of innovation output dimension of the Global Innovation Index. The results indicate a statistically significant impact between the level of digital performance and innovation output, with a moderate effect size, partially mediated by skill adequacy. Moreover, the findings emphasise that a higher level of digitalisation determines an increase in the individuals’ employability and competencies. The study enhances the understanding of the complex relationship between digitalisation, skills, and innovation by shedding new light on the trajectories’ coevolution of the analysed constructs, presenting some implications for policymakers and governments, and providing theoretical suggestions for future research.

Abstract The main objective of this research is to test the IoT model of acceptance technologies (the Internet of Things) among the economics students from Romania. The Internet of Things refers to the interconnection between different devices via the Internet. Through this interconnection, the communication is no longer limited to the usual “human to human” form but is complemented by a new “object-to-object” form, which has a direct impact on the company’s functions. In this context, the IoT technologies acceptance by the future economists and managers is extremely important. The study included 1,179 students from four university centers from Romania and the included factors from the acceptance of IoT technologies model (Internet of Things) were analyzed using the quantitative statistical methods in SPSS, applying a series of tests processed to highlight the research results, respectively the reliability test, the validity test, the chi-square test and the Person's correlation coefficient. The results of the study show the existence of a positive correlation between the research variables and indicate that the students from the economic studies, are ready to accept the new technological advances in IoT and to implement them in their future jobs

Abstract The use of Information Technology in organizations and in a business context has notably been associated with the manner in which transactions are carried out through recording, processing, and reporting of information. This often happens to organizations that have automated information systems to perform the aforesaid activities. In this regard, the study, therefore, aims to investigate the impact of the rapid growth of the Information technology to internal auditing activities and examine if there are changes that are identified in information technology evaluations that are undertaken in Lebanese Organizations. In carrying out this research, a quantitative methodology approach was deployed where a surveying technique was used to facilitate the study by use of a selfadministered questionnaire that aided in achieving these objectives. Five hundred copies of the questionnaire were randomly distributed to Lebanese organizations located across Beirut specifically to accountants and auditors. The survey results were analyzed using SPSS software to show the impact of information technology in auditing activities and the changes that have been experienced in Information technology and their implications on the accounting sector. The survey findings have been used to conclude if the internal auditors need to enhance their knowledge and skills of computerized information system (CIS) which can help improve planning, directing, supervising and reviewing the work performed. Factors that affect Auditors performance on the Information Technology evaluations were identified and their impacts assessed. The research conclusively highlighted the impact of the study on managers and auditors.

Abstract Public accounting is one of the industry's very growing sectors. The objective is to generate a large amount of Financial information that can be further used by stakeholders to make informed decisions false information or could jeopardize the businesses involved and therefore this type of information must be Protected from external and vulnerable attacks. As the transparency and accountability of the financial Statement is very important for the trust of both the stakeholder and the investment, the security of financial information is very important for the relevance, validity and reliability of financial data.however, there is always a persistent risk of Security breaches such as attacks by brute force to obtain the information. The main focus of this paper is to examine if the adoption of the IPASS in the public accounting sector in Lebanon Support and leverage the security systems and strategies used by Lebanon's public accountants to secure financial data and financial report relevance. A quantitative methodology was used to carry out this study and a survey was conducted with a representative sample of accountants currently employed in the government sector in Lebanon. The survey questionnaire was prepared to measure the extent where recently the IPASS was adopted in public accounting security in Lebanon and also to evaluate their efficiency in data protection and to detect threats. The research carried out is likely to determine the quality of financial data protection in Lebanon's public accounting in conjunction with the application of IPASS and suggest possible solutions to enhance security. As security measures are an integral part of the IPSAS implementation process, this study contributes significantly to both the IPSAS adoption theory and the practice of aligning local accounting practices with international standards through exorbitant efforts to enhance security management in the Public Accounting Sector of Lebanon.

Abstract COVID-19 had a major impact on education, substantially stimulating the need for digital remote education. From paperback books to PDFs, from physical classes to e-conferencing, and from various traditional mechanisms of information transmission to systems that are driven by artificial intelligence and use adaptive learning approaches, all of these had to be adopted by both teachers and students. This paper analyzes the use of an adaptive learning system before and during the COVID-19 pandemic from a statistical point of view on a set of data gathered in Romania during a pilot project. The main data inputs are the number of students that enrolled for a certain course, the percentage of students that successfully completed it, and information about their age group, location and main area of interest. Our study finds that the use of artificial intelligence has increased during the COVID-19 pandemic and, by analyzing the data obtained during the study, we managed to prove that artificial-intelligence-driven tools and systems have gained traction among all the parties involved in the educational process.
