Abstract In order to investigate the effect of glutaraldehyde (GTA) on the structure, mechanical properties and thermal stability of gelatin films, gelatin films modified by GTA at various pH (4.5, 6.5, and 11), were prepared. According to FTIR analysis, the reaction mechanism between GTA and gelatin was different at various pH. With the addition of GTA, the intermolecular forces (hydrogen bonds and ionic bonds) and triple helix structure of gelatin film were significantly disrupted. At pH 4.5, gelatin films modified by GTA showed the highest mechanical properties and thermal stability among all films, which tensile strength and residues in TGA up to 16.13 MPa and 15.05%, respectively. Therefore, an optimum pH was around 4.5 in gelatin films cross-linked by GTA.

Abstract After achieving malaria elimination, preventing re-establishment from imported malaria and consolidating malaria elimination achievements are top priorities of the national malaria control program in China. Due to the long-term existence of overseas imported malaria cases and incomplete eradication of local epidemic conditions, there are multiple challenges for prevention of re-establishment from imported malaria in China. Hereby, we propose that regular assessment is an effective approach to maintaining the capability of prevention of re-establishment from imported malaria, and describe the purpose, significance, management and implementation of the capability assessment for prevention of re-establishment from imported malaria, so as to provide insights into the formulation and adjustment of malaria control strategies during the post-elimination phase.

Abstract It has been 40 years since the Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society (CEMS) was established in 1981. Now, it has grown a first-level national society in China, which has 15 professional committees and more than 5000 members. Over the past 40 years, the CEMS has been making many contributions to advance the research of environmental mutagens in China and cultivate professional talents in this field. In the twenty-first century, looking back on what the CEMS has gone through and accomplished, and in light of the major changes in our tasks and mission in the new era, we must plan well for the future, to overcome our shortcomings, to embrace greater development of the CEMS.

Abstract Transferrin is an important iron-binding glycosylated protein and plays key roles in iron-binding and immune response. Here, a 2037-bp open reading frame was obtained from our previous transcriptome sequencing data of Amur stickleback, which encoded a 679 amino acid putative transferrin protein harbored obvious N-lobe and C-lobe domains. The tissue-specific expression pattern showed that the transcript was detected in a variety of tissues, with the highest signal in liver. Moreover,

Abstract A general rate theory for resonance energy transfer (gRET) is formulated to incorporate any degrees of freedom (e.g., rotation, vibration, exciton, and polariton) as well as coherently coupled composite donor or acceptor states. The compact rate expression allows us to establish useful relationships: (i) detailed balance condition when the donor and acceptor are at the same temperature; (ii) proportionality to the product of dipole correlation tensors, which is not necessarily equivalent to spectral overlap; (iii) scaling with the effective coherent size, i.e., the number of coherently coupled molecules or modes; (iv) decomposition of collective rate in homogeneous systems into the monomer and coherence contributions such that the ratio of the two defines the quantum enhancement factor

Abstract Entrepreneurship is a test of people's knowledge and specific application ability, especially the psychological quality of entrepreneurs. In the process of starting a business, people's psychological qualities have a very important influence on the ultimate success of starting a business. The significance of cultivating college students' entrepreneurial psychological quality lies in that it is not only the requirement of the development of the times but also the realistic requirement of improving college students' entrepreneurial ability. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to bring the cultivation of college students' entrepreneurial psychological quality into entrepreneurship education. Good entrepreneurial psychological quality is the cornerstone of the building of entrepreneurship, which can lay the foundation for entrepreneurship and support the whole entrepreneurial process. Because of the importance of entrepreneurial psychological quality in the process of entrepreneurship, it is necessary to analyze the entrepreneurial psychological quality of college students and guide and cultivate them correctly. Based on this, this paper analyzes the penetration of mental health education in the cultivation of College Students' entrepreneurship education, which has a strong practical significance.

Abstract Inclusive green growth (IGG) offers an effective alternative to pursue sustainable development. The core of the IGG system lies in the coordination of inclusive, green, and growth subsystems. However, there is little quantitative assessment on IGG based on subsystem collaboration. This study proposes a holistic scheme of inclusive-green-growth nexus in Anhui province from 2009 to 2018 by using an integrated approach, namely, the entropy weight approach (EWA), coupling coordination degree model (CCDM), grey prediction model (GPM), and obstacle factor diagnostic model (OFDM). The results show that: (1) The proposed integrated approach could be viable to measure the synergistic interactions among internal IGG subsystems; (2) At the provincial level, a relatively high IGG performance but a low coupling coordination degree (CCD) of the IGG nexus are seen. Although the predicted value of CCD will show an upward trend, it will not be able to cross the start stage. The obstacle factors on the coordinated development of IGG can be divided into two stages: (3) At the prefectural level, the cities in which CCD is rising outnumber those it is falling. However, the CCD is also low, and the gap between cities is getting wider. The obstacles that affect the CCD of cities see a dynamic evolution trend from "inclusive obstacle type" to "inclusive and growth obstacle type" then to "green obstacle type" over the decade.
