    Abstract The CAST-CAPP axion haloscope, operating at CERN inside the CAST dipole magnet, has searched for axions in the 19.74 μeV to 22.47 μeV mass range. The detection concept follows the Sikivie haloscope principle, where Dark Matter axions convert into photons within a resonator immersed in a magnetic field. The CAST-CAPP resonator is an array of four individual rectangular cavities inserted in a strong dipole magnet, phase-matched to maximize the detection sensitivity. Here we report on the data acquired for 4124 h from 2019 to 2021. Each cavity is equipped with a fast frequency tuning mechanism of 10 MHz/ min between 4.774 GHz and 5.434 GHz.     Abstract: Using data samples with an integrated luminosity of $6.4$~fb$^{-1}$ collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring, the process of $e^+e^-\to\gamma\phi J/\psi$ is studied. The processes of $e^+e^-\to\phi\chi_{c1,c2}$, $\chi_{c1,c2}\ ...

    Abstract Using data samples with an integrated luminosity of $6.4$~fb$^{-1}$ collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring, the process of $e^+e^-\to\gamma\phi J/\psi$ is studied. The processes of $e^+e^-\to\phi\chi_{c1,c2}$, $\chi_{c1,c2}\to\gamma J/\psi$ are observed with a significance of more than $10\sigma$. The $\sqrt{s}$-dependent cross section of $e^+e^- \to \phi\chi_{c1,c2}$ is measured between 4.600 and 4.951~GeV, and evidence of a resonance structure is found for the first time in the $\phi\chi_{c2}$ process. We also search for the processes of $e^+e^-\to\gamma X(4140)$, $\gamma X(4274)$ and $\gamma X(4500)$ via the $\gamma\phi J/\psi$ final state, but no obvious structures are found. The upper limits on the production cross section times the branching fraction for these processes at the 90% confidence level are reported.

    Abstract The first direct measurement of the absolute branching fraction of $\Sigma^+ \to \Lambda e^+ \nu_{e}$ is reported based on an $e^+e^-$ annihilation sample of $(10087\pm44) \times 10^6$ $J/\psi$ events collected with the BESIII detector at $\sqrt{s}=3.097$ GeV. The branching fraction is determined to be ${\mathcal B}(\Sigma^+ \to \Lambda e^+ \nu_{e}) = [2.93\pm0.74(\rm stat) \pm 0.13(\rm syst)]\times 10^{-5}$, which is the most precise measurement obtained in a single experiment to date and also the first result obtained at a collider experiment. Combining this result with the world average of ${\mathcal B}(\Sigma^- \to \Lambda e^- \bar{\nu}_{e})$ and the lifetimes of $\Sigma^{\pm}$, the ratio, $\frac{\Gamma(\Sigma^- \to \Lambda e^- \bar{\nu}_{e})}{\Gamma(\Sigma^+ \to \Lambda e^+ \nu_{e})}$, is determined to be $1.06 \pm 0.28$, which is within 1.8 standard deviations of the value expected in the absence of second-class currents that are forbidden in the Standard Model.

    Abstract Using $4.5 \mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ annihilation data samples collected at the center-of-mass energies ranging from 4.600 GeV to 4.699 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, a first study of $\Lambda_c^+$ decaying semileptonically into the inclusive $pK^-$ system $\Lambda_c^+\rightarrow pK^-e^+\nu_e$ is performed. The $\Lambda_c^+\rightarrow pK^-e^+\nu_e$ decay is observed with a significance of $8.2\sigma$ and the branching fraction is measured to be $\mathcal{B}(\Lambda_c^+\rightarrow pK^- e^+\nu_e)=(0.82\pm0.15_{\rm stat.}\pm0.06_{\rm syst.})\times 10^{-3}$. In addition, first evidence for the decay $\Lambda_c^+\rightarrow \Lambda(1520) e^+\nu_e$ is obtained with a significance of $3.3\sigma$ and the branching fraction is measured to be $\mathcal{B}(\Lambda_c^+\rightarrow \Lambda(1520) e^+\nu_e)=(1.36\pm0.56_{\rm stat.}\pm0.14_{\rm syst.})\times 10^{-3}$. We also measure the branching fraction for $\Lambda_c^+\rightarrow pK^-_{\rm non-\Lambda(1520)} e^+\nu_e$ to be $\mathcal{B}(\Lambda_c^+\rightarrow pK^-_{\rm non-\Lambda(1520)} e^+\nu_e)=(0.53\pm0.15_{\rm stat.}\pm0.06_{\rm syst.})\times 10^{-3}$. Using a measurement of the inclusive semileptonic $\Lambda_c^+$ branching fraction from BESIII, the relative branching fractions are determined to be $[\mathcal{B}(\Lambda_c^+\rightarrow pK^-e^+\nu_e)/\mathcal{B}(\Lambda_c^+\rightarrow X e^+\nu_e)]=(2.1\pm0.4_{\rm stat.}\pm0.1_{\rm syst.})\%$ and $[\mathcal{B}(\Lambda_c^+\rightarrow \Lambda^*(1520) e^+\nu_e)/\mathcal{B}(\Lambda_c^+\rightarrow X e^+\nu_e)]=(3.4\pm1.4_{\rm stat.}\pm0.4_{\rm syst.})\%$. These measurements provide a clear confirmation that semileptonic $\Lambda_c^+$ decays are not saturated by the $\Lambda \ell^+\nu_{\ell}$ final state.

    Abstract Using data collected with the BESIII detector in $e^+e^-$ collisions at center-of-mass energies between 4.178 and 4.226 GeV and corresponding to 6.32~fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity, we report the amplitude analysis and branching-fraction measurement of the $D^+_s \to \pi^+ \pi^0 \eta^{\prime}$ decay. We find that the dominant intermediate process is $D^+_s \to\rho^+ \eta^{\prime}$ and the significances of other resonant and nonresonant processes are all less than $3\sigma$. The upper limits on the branching fractions of $S$-wave and $P$-wave nonresonant components are set to $0.10\%$ and $0.74\%$ at the $90\%$ confidence level, respectively. In addition, the branching fraction of the $D^+_s \to \pi^+ \pi^0 \eta^{\prime}$ decay is measured to be $(6.15\pm0.25(\rm stat.)\pm0.18(\rm syst.))\%$, which receives significant contribution only from $D_s^+\to \rho^+\eta^{\prime}$ according to the amplitude analysis.

    Abstract The CERN Axion Solar Telescope has finished its search for solar axions with (3)He buffer gas, covering the search range 0.64 eV ≲ ma ≲ 1.17 eV. This closes the gap to the cosmological hot dark matter limit and actually overlaps with it. From the absence of excess x rays when the magnet was pointing to the Sun we set a typical upper limit on the axion-photon coupling of gaγ ≲ 3.3 × 10(-10)  GeV(-1) at 95% C.L., with the exact value depending on the pressure setting. Future direct solar axion searches will focus on increasing the sensitivity to smaller values of gaγ, for example by the currently discussed next generation helioscope International AXion Observatory.

    Abstract: We report on the first search for Λ[over ¯]-Λ oscillations in the decay J/ψ→pK^{-}Λ[over ¯]+c.c. by analyzing 1.31×10^{9}  J/ψ events accumulated with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The J/ψ events are produced using e^{+}e^{-} collisions at ... ...

    Abstract We report on the first search for Λ[over ¯]-Λ oscillations in the decay J/ψ→pK^{-}Λ[over ¯]+c.c. by analyzing 1.31×10^{9}  J/ψ events accumulated with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The J/ψ events are produced using e^{+}e^{-} collisions at a center of mass energy sqrt[s]=3.097  GeV. No evidence for hyperon oscillations is observed. The upper limit for the oscillation rate of Λ[over ¯] to Λ hyperons is determined to be P(Λ)=[B(J/ψ→pK^{-}Λ+c.c.)/B(J/ψ→pK^{-}Λ[over ¯]+c.c.)]<4.4×10^{-6} corresponding to an oscillation parameter δm_{ΛΛ[over ¯]} of less than 3.8×10^{-18}  GeV at the 90% confidence level.

    Abstract Based on 4.4  fb^{-1} of e^{+}e^{-} annihilation data collected at the center-of-mass energies between 4.60 and 4.70 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, the pure W-boson-exchange decay Λ_{c}^{+}→Ξ^{0}K^{+} is studied with a full angular analysis. The corresponding decay asymmetry is measured for the first time to be α_{Ξ^{0}K^{+}}=0.01±0.16(stat)±0.03(syst). This result reflects the noninterference effect between the S- and P-wave amplitudes. The phase shift between S- and P-wave amplitudes has two solutions, which are δ_{p}-δ_{s}=-1.55±0.25(stat)±0.05(syst)  rad or 1.59±0.25(stat)±0.05(syst)  rad.

    Abstract By analyzing 7.33  fb^{-1} of e^{+}e^{-} annihilation data collected at center-of-mass energies between 4.128 and 4.226 GeV with the BESIII detector, we report the observation of the semileptonic decay D_{s}^{+}→η^{'}μ^{+}ν_{μ}, with a statistical significance larger than 10σ, and the measurements of the D_{s}^{+}→ημ^{+}ν_{μ} and D_{s}^{+}→η^{'}μ^{+}ν_{μ} decay dynamics for the first time. The branching fractions of D_{s}^{+}→ημ^{+}ν_{μ} and D_{s}^{+}→η^{'}μ^{+}ν_{μ} are determined to be (2.235±0.051_{stat}±0.052_{syst})% and (0.801±0.055_{stat}±0.028_{syst})%, respectively, with precision improved by factors of 6.0 and 6.6 compared to the previous best measurements. Combined with the results for the decays D_{s}^{+}→ηe^{+}ν_{e} and D_{s}^{+}→η^{'}e^{+}ν_{e}, the ratios of the decay widths are examined both inclusively and in several ℓ^{+}ν_{ℓ} four-momentum transfer ranges. No evidence for lepton flavor universality violation is found within the current statistics. The products of the hadronic form factors f_{+,0}^{η^{(')}}(0) and the c→s Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element |V_{cs}| are determined. The results based on the two-parameter series expansion are f_{+,0}^{η}(0)|V_{cs}|=0.452±0.010_{stat}±0.007_{syst} and f_{+,0}^{η^{'}}(0)|V_{cs}|=0.504±0.037_{stat}±0.012_{syst}, which help to constrain present models on f_{+,0}^{η^{(')}}(0). The forward-backward asymmetries are determined to be ⟨A_{FB}^{η}⟩=-0.059±0.031_{stat}±0.005_{syst} and ⟨A_{FB}^{η^{'}}⟩=-0.064±0.079_{stat}±0.006_{syst} for the first time, which are consistent with the theoretical calculation.

    Abstract Based on data samples collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, the process e^{+}e^{-}→Σ^{+}Σ[over ¯]^{-} is studied at center-of-mass energies sqrt[s]=2.3960, 2.6454, and 2.9000 GeV. Using a fully differential angular description of the final state particles, both the relative magnitude and phase information of the Σ^{+} electromagnetic form factors in the timelike region are extracted. The relative phase between the electric and magnetic form factors is determined to be sinΔΦ=-0.67±0.29(stat)±0.18(syst) at sqrt[s]=2.3960  GeV, ΔΦ=55°±19°(stat)±14°(syst) at sqrt[s]=2.6454  GeV, and 78°±22°(stat)±9°(syst) at sqrt[s]=2.9000  GeV. For the first time, the phase of the hyperon electromagnetic form factors is explored in a wide range of four-momentum transfer. The evolution of the phase along with four-momentum transfer is an important input for understanding its asymptotic behavior and the dynamics of baryons.
