Abstract Amorphous alloy refers to the orderly arrangement of the internal structure of various substances in nature. Amorphous solid materials include amorphous inorganic materials, amorphous polymers, and amorphous alloys. Amorphous alloys, also known as glassy alloys or metallic glasses, are atomically condensed, long-range disordered, and short-range ordered alloy materials that have the distinctive properties of both metals and glasses. Ligament injury is damage caused by different degrees of damage to the ligaments of a certain part of the body. The purpose of this paper is to investigate amorphous alloys and ferroelectric nanomaterials and the repair of athletic ligament injuries in the soccer game, using the excellent properties of amorphous alloys and ferroelectric nanomaterials to solve the problem of athletic injuries. Knee and ankle injuries and muscle strains account for a large percentage of soccer injuries. In this paper, researches and explorations have been conducted on the preparation of new composite magnetic nanomaterials, the construction of immunosensor interfaces, and the development of new signal amplification and renewable immunosensors. The rehabilitation effect of the medial collateral ligament of the athlete’s knee joint is used as the research object, and various methods are used. In-depth investigation and research and statistical analysis of the data obtained one by one were carried out. The experimental results in this article show that from the age of ligament injury, the number of people between 18 and 20 is relatively small, and the number of people aged 20–40 is relatively large. The number of people who have been trained for three years and above is 5, and the proportion of ligament injuries is 0.8%; the number of training for two years is 33, and the proportion of ligament injuries is 13.7%, the number of training for one year is 98, and the proportion of ligament injuries is 40.7%, and the number of training for six months is 105, and the proportion of ligaments is 44.8%.

Abstract In this paper, the regulation stability problem of the human arm continuous movement is investigated based on Markovian jumping parameters. In particular, the intermittent control mechanism is adopted in the arm movement regulation procedure to model the human intermittent motor control strategy. Furthermore, by taking into account the Markovian jumping parameters with different modes, the asynchronous regulation issue is proposed to model mode mismatch between the motor control and arm movement. On the basis of model transformation, sufficient stability conditions are established during the arm movements, and the desired regulation gain can be obtained by the convex optimization method. In the end, an illustrative example is presented to show the applicability and effectiveness of our developed model and optimized regulation approach.

Abstract This paper investigates the finite-time passivity and passification design problem for a class of Markovian jumping systems with mode-dependent time-varying delays. By employing the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method, delay-dependent sufficient criteria are derived to ensure the mean-square stochastically finite-time passivity. Based on the established results, mode-dependent passification controller is further designed in terms of linear matrix inequalities, such that the prescribed passive performance index of the resulting closed-loop system can be satisfied. Finally, two illustrative examples are given to show the effectiveness of the obtained theoretical results.

Abstract With fast learning speed and high accuracy, extreme learning machine (ELM) has achieved great success in pattern recognition and machine learning. Unfortunately, it will fail in the circumstance where plenty of labeled samples for training model are insufficient. The labeled samples are difficult to obtain due to their high cost. In this paper, we solve this problem with transfer learning and propose joint transfer extreme learning machine (JTELM). First, it applies cross-domain mean approximation (CDMA) to minimize the discrepancy between domains, thus obtaining one ELM model. Second, subspace alignment (sa) and weight approximation are together introduced into the output layer to enhance the capability of knowledge transfer and learn another ELM model. Third, the prediction of test samples is dominated by the two learned ELM models. Finally, a series of experiments are carried out to investigate the performance of JTELM, and the results show that it achieves efficiently the task of transfer learning and performs better than the traditional ELM and other transfer or nontransfer learning methods.

Abstract This paper studies the non-fragile mixed H∞ and passive synchronization problem for Markov jump neural networks. The randomly occurring controller gain fluctuation phenomenon is investigated for non-fragile strategy. Moreover, the mixed time-varying delays composed of discrete and distributed delays are considered. By employing stochastic stability theory, synchronization criteria are developed for the Markov jump neural networks. On the basis of the derived criteria, the non-fragile synchronization controller is designed. Finally, an illustrative example is presented to demonstrate the validity of the control approach.

Abstract In this study, we systematically examined the effects of self-concept clarity on high school students’ learning engagement and the mediating role of sense of life meaning and future orientation between self-concept clarity and learning engagement in order to provide guidance to enhance students’ learning engagement. A total of 997 students from freshmen to seniors were selected for the study using a cluster random sampling method. The following tools were used: the Self-Concept Clarity Scale, the Learning Engagement Scale, the Sense of Life Meaning Scale, and the Future Orientation Questionnaire. The results indicated that the clarity of self-concept positively predicted the level of learning engagement of high school students. Sense of life meaning and future orientation partially mediated the effect between self-concept clarity and learning engagement, and sense of life meaning and future orientation had sequence-mediated effects between self-concept clarity and learning engagement among high school students. This study suggests that high levels of self-concept clarity can help high school students actively seek a sense of life meaning and make more optimistic future orientations, thereby increasing their level of learning engagement.

Abstract With the growth of people's environmental awareness and the encouragement of government policies, the use of electric vehicles in logistics distribution is gradually increasing. In order to solve the dual demand of customers' simultaneous pick-up and delivery in the "last kilometer logistics", an electric vehicle routing problem with simultaneous pick-up and delivery and time window (EVRPSPDTW) is considered from the perspective of multi-objective distribution in this paper. Firstly, a decision-making model based on distribution cost and power consumption function is established. In this model, distribution cost includes transportation cost, vehicle use cost, penalty cost of not arriving on time and charging cost. Power consumption function is the energy loss caused by air resistance, tire rolling friction and transmission system. Secondly, a multi-objective genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) optimization solution with fast nondominated ranking and elite strategy is designed, and in view of the shortcomings of traditional NSGA-II, it is proposed to complete population initialization through greedy algorithm and random rules, introduce adaptive cross-mutation strategy in the chromosome crossing and mutation stage, and design three different neighborhood operators in mutation operation based on variant fitness function. Finally, the sensitivity analysis of traffic congestion coefficient further proves the effectiveness of the proposed model and the improved algorithm.

Abstract Abstract Background This study aimed to explore the association of adherence to the Mediterranean diet (MD), osteopenia and the risk of all-cause mortality in general population. Methods This retrospective cohort study included 5452 participants ≥ 50 years from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). The associations of osteopenia and adherence to the MD with all-cause mortality, as well as the interaction and moderating effects between the osteopenia and adherence to the MD on the all-cause mortality, were explored via univariate and multivariable Cox proportional hazards models. Results The follow-up was from October 1, 2006, to December 31, 2019. The median survival time of patients was 81 months. In total, 4724 people were survived and 728 were dead. Osteopenia was associated with increased risk of all-cause mortality in people [hazards ratio (HR) = 1.57, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.23–1.99]. No significant risk of all-cause mortality was found in people with high adherence to the MD compared with those with low adherence to the MD (P > 0.05). Compared to subjects with no osteopenia who had high adherence to the MD, osteopenia people who had high adherence to the MD (HR = 1.52, 95% CI 1.17–1.98) or low adherence to the MD (HR = 1.81, 95% CI 1.23–2.66) were at increased risk of all-cause mortality after adjusting for confounding factors. The relationship between osteopenia and the risk of all-cause mortality was decreased in those with high adherence to the MD (HR = 1.57, 95% CI 1.17–2.11) compared with those with low adherence to the MD (HR = 1.62, 95% CI 1.08–2.41) after adjusting for confounding factors. Conclusion The adherence to the MD regulated the association between osteopenia and the risk of all-cause mortality, which suggested the importance of adherence to the MD in those with osteopenia, and the MD could be advocated in general people.

Abstract Abstract The study of the strength and failure modes of construction components has become increasingly important with the advent of industrialized construction. Recently, because of the need to promote the survivability of both structures and persons, it has encompassed failure modes associated with seismic threats. This study reports the seismic behavior of precast segmented columns designed with both unbonded prestressed tendons (UPTs) and energy-dissipating (ED) bars. A physical specimen was subjected to a quasi-static cyclic test; this permitted the evaluation of the damage mode and behavior of the energy dissipation mechanism, and permitted the establishment and verification of a fiber beam element simulation model. The model was then used to evaluate the effects of the variation of the design parameters on the behavior of precast assembled columns. The test specimen exhibited stable energy dissipation and a pinching effect during cyclic loading. An analysis using the fiber beam element model with varying design parameters revealed that high-strength concrete could mitigate the concrete damage and residual deformation after an earthquake, and that the concrete strength and steel bar strength should be matched when enhancing the seismic resilience of precast columns with high-strength steel bars. It was determined that increasing the prestress mechanism, namely the ratio of the UPTs, could greatly improve the residual deformation, while the ratio of ED bars is the key factor in enhancing the energy dissipation capacity of the precast columns. Suitable ratios of UPTs and ED bars are the keys to ensuring stable energy dissipation and low residual drifts. Moreover, an increased axial load ratio and prestress level are able to restrain the joint opening and improve the bearing capacity of the precast columns; however, an excessive axial load or prestressing force would result in the rapid degeneration of the carrying capacity and larger residual displacements.
