    Abstract Background: To investigate the influence of pretreatment neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and procalcitonin (PCT) on progression-free survival (PFS) in extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) patients.
    Method: A total of 100 extensive-stage SCLC patients were enrolled in our study. Patients were stratified according to the median values of pretreatment NLR and PCT levels: low NLR group (NLR ≤3.17), high NLR group (NLR>3.17), low PCT group (PCT ≤0.06; ng/ml), high PCT group (PCT>0.06; ng/ml). The Kaplan-Meier method and multivariable Cox regression model were used to reveal the prognostic effects of pretreatment NLR and PCT on PFS.
    Results: The median PFS of the total extensive-stage SCLC patients was 6.0 months. The median PFS of low pretreatment NLR group (NLR ≤3.17) was not significantly different from that of high pretreatment NLR group (6.2 months vs 5.8 months;
    Conclusion: Pretreatment PCT is an independent factor associated with PFS in extensive-stage SCLC patients treated with first-line chemotherapy, but pretreatment NLR reflects no significant prognostic value in our study.

    Abstract Electric transport in the charged domain wall (CDW) region has emerged as a promising phenomenon for the development of next-generation ferro-resistive memory with ultrahigh data storage density. However, accurately measuring the conductivity of CDWs induced by polarization reversal remains challenging due to the polarization modulation of the Schottky barrier at the thin film-electrode interface, which could partially contribute to the collected "on" current of the device. Here, we propose carefully selecting an electrode that can suppress the effect of interfacial barrier modulation induced by polarization reversal, allowing the collected current mainly from the conductive CDWs. The experiment was conducted on epitaxial BiFeO

    Abstract Native oat flour (NOF), light‐germinated oat flour (LOF), and dark‐germinated oat flour (DOF) were used to replace a portion of wheat flour to make bread. Adding 10% (w/w) oat flour contributed to a lower specific volume and darker crust and crumb than control, while light treatment during germination, significantly affected these three indices. Adding oat flour increased the hardness and chewiness values of bread crumbs by nearly 1–2‐fold compared to the control. Adding oat flour especially germinated oat flour significantly increased the bio‐accessible polyphenol content of bread. Compared to the control, the predicted glycaemic index (pGI) value of oat bread was substantially lower. Adding oat flour especially germinated oat flour to bread has the potential to increase bio‐accessible phenolic content and decrease pGI value, but the successful application requires further studies to optimise formulation considering the poor textural characteristics.

    Abstract Lifetime evaluation and prediction of proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) are essential for the lifetime extension and commercialization of fuel cells. Under the background that the accelerated stress test (AST) is difficult to evaluate the lifetime accurately, and the actual road test is time-consuming and costly, it is necessary to propose a quick lifetime prediction method of fuel cells. In this study, the current degradation law is analyzed based on the first-order kinetic model, and the lifetime prediction method based on the current degradation law is proposed. Moreover, the scale factor k is proposed to completely describe the fuel cell degradation due to complex degradation causes, and its calculation and selection methods are discussed. Finally, the accuracy of the proposed method is verified by the experimental results of single cells and fuel cell stacks, and the maximum relative error is less than 5% when the fuel cells conform to the first-order kinetic model. The lifetime prediction method of PEMFCs based on current degradation law improves the utilization of degradation information in current density, which is a feasible way for automotive fuel cell lifetime evaluation and prediction.

    Abstract In order to assess whether the runway can meet safe, reliable and efficient objectives, a comprehensive evaluation indicator system needs to be established for evaluation. Firstly, the runway operation system is established, and the evaluation indicators of runway performance are divided into five aspects: personnel factors, support facility, mission demand, operating environment and management factors and then establish a comprehensive evaluation index system. Secondly, the TOPSIS evaluation model of game theory combination weighting is established, game theory is used to optimize the weights of the weights obtained by AHP and CRITIC, and the ideal solution (TOPSIS) is used to comprehensively evaluate the runway performance. Finally, the model was used to evaluate the runway performance levels of the three airports, and the three evaluation methods were compared. The results show that the results of the runway performance evaluation using the model are in line with the actual operation of the airport. The method is simple and the results are scientific and objective, and it have good versatility.

    Abstract Magnesium is a revolutionary biomaterial for orthopedic implants, owing to its eminent mechanical properties and biocompatibility. However, its uncontrolled degradation rate remains a severe challenge for its potential applications. In this study, we developed a self-healing micro arc oxidation (MAO) and dicalcium phosphate dihydrate (DCPD) double-passivated coating on a magnesium membrane (Mg-MAO/DCPD) and investigated its potential for bone-defect healing. The Mg-MAO/DCPD membrane possessed a feasible self-repairing ability and good cytocompatibility. In vitro degradation experiments showed that the Mg contents on the coating surface were 0.3, 3.8, 4.1, 6.1, and 7.9% when the degradation times were 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 weeks, respectively, exhibiting available corrosion resistance. The slow and sustained release of Mg

    Abstract Since the reform and opening up, China's market-oriented agricultural management reform has achieved remarkable results, but the reform has not yet been put in place, and there are some flaws in some areas of reform. To deepen the reform of government's agricultural management reform under the new situation, it is necessary to further define the boundary between government and market on the basis of following the general rules of world's agricultural development and considering China's special situation of agriculture, nail down the scope of government functions, pinpoint the key areas of reform, and actively promote the rapid development of China's characteristic modern agriculture.
