Abstract In view of the low concentration of organic matter in rural domestic sewage and the lack of carbon source in the biochemical denitrification process, resulting in excessive total nitrogen in the effluent, the traditional AAO process was improved to enhance the system's biochemical denitrification capacity. Through engineering demonstration, an improved process based on enhanced denitrification AAO process was constructed and applied to a village in Zhejiang Province. This process can ensure the complete separation of mixed liquid denitrification and sludge denitrification. While ensuring the denitrification efficiency, it can further reduce nitrate entering the anaerobic zone, so as to ensure a stable denitrification and phosphorus removal effect. The removal rates of the system for COD, NH3-N, TN, TP and SS are 95.6%, 99.5%, 75.1%, 97.6%, 91.6% respectively, in line with Zhejiang Province's "Water Pollution Discharge Requirements for Rural Domestic Sewage Centralized Treatment Facilities" (DB33 973-2021) Table 1 Level 1 Standard. In addition, the system energy consumption is 0.28 kwh/m³, which meets the requirements of low energy consumption system. This case can provide technical reference for the technical selection of rural domestic sewage treatment in my country.

Abstract Boron carbonitride (BCN) films containing hybridized bonds involving B, C, and N over wide compositional ranges enable an abundant variety of new materials, properties, and applications; however, their electronic performance is still limited by the presence of structural and electronic defects, yielding sluggish mobility and electrical conductivity. This work reports on mechanically stable BCN films and their corresponding optical and electronic properties. The ternary BCN films consisting of hybridized B-C-N bonds have been achieved by varying N2 flow by the radio frequency magnetron sputtering method. The BCN films show a bandgap value ranging from 3.32 to 3.82 eV. Hall effect measurements reveal an n-type conductivity with an improved hall mobility of 226 cm2/V s at room temperature for the optimal film. The n-BCN/p-Si heterojunctions exhibit a nonlinear rectifying characteristic, where the tunneling behavior dominates the injection regimes due to the density of defects, i.e., structural disorder and impurities. Our work demonstrates the tunable electrical properties of BCN/Si p-n diodes and, thus, is beneficial for the potential application in the fields of optics, optoelectronics, and electrics.

Abstract We consider both ℓ0-penalized and ℓ0-constrained quantile regression estimators. For the ℓ0-penalized estimator, we derive an exponential inequality on the tail probability of excess quantile prediction risk and apply it to obtain non-asymptotic upper bounds on the mean-square parameter and regression function estimation errors. We also derive analogous results for the ℓ0-constrained estimator. The resulting rates of convergence are nearly minimax-optimal and the same as those for ℓ1-penalized and non-convex penalized estimators. Further, we characterize expected Hamming loss for the ℓ0-penalized estimator. We implement the proposed procedure via mixed integer linear programming and also a more scalable first-order approximation algorithm. We illustrate the finite-sample performance of our approach in Monte Carlo experiments and its usefulness in a real data application concerning conformal prediction of infant birth weights (with n≈103 and up to p>103). In sum, our ℓ0-based method produces a much sparser estimator than the ℓ1-penalized and non-convex penalized approaches without compromising precision.

Abstract As an important research tool in neuroscience, event-related potential (ERP) technology enables in-depth analysis of the consumer’s product image cognition process and complements and verifies the product image cognition model at the ERP level. It provides an important theoretical basis for systematically capturing product image and improvement of the product image cognitive model. In this work, the correlation between ERP data, product image word pairs and the degree of semantic match with the product is investigated, and a support vector machine algorithm is selected to build a classification model with physiological data (behavioral data + ERP data) as the independent variable and the degree of semantic match with the product image as the dependent variable. By adjusting the model parameters, the final classification accuracy reaches 95.667%, which shows that the model has some reliability and is a viable research method for ERP-based product image researchers in the future.

Abstract To realize "the future we want" proposed by the UN Development Agenda, it is highly necessary for China, which is the largest emitter of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, to find ways to boost the green innovation of domestic firms. Digital finance, as an emerging product of the contemporary digital economy, provides a new research perspective for green innovation. Based on 2011-2019 panel data on A-shared listed companies in China, this article establishes a regression model and provides empirical evidence that digital finance can promote green innovation by exerting resource and information effects. Our results reveal that (1) digital finance can stimulate enterprises' green innovation by increasing the coverage of digital finance and the depth of use. (2) Digital finance can significantly improve the quantity and quality of green innovation by alleviating enterprises' financial constraints and giving full play to the internal and external information effect. (3) The discussion shows that the effect of digital finance is heterogeneous and can more significantly and effectively stimulate the green innovations of enterprises with lower analyst optimism bias and higher synchronicity.

Abstract RNA nanotechnology has shown great progress over the past decade. Diverse controllable and multifunctional RNA nanoparticles have been developed for various applications in many areas. For example, RNA nanoparticles can participate in the construction of drug delivery nanoplatforms. Recently, a three-way junction packaging RNA (3WJ-pRNA) has been exploited for its characteristics of self-assembly and ultrahigh stability in many aspects. 3WJ-pRNA is the 3WJ part of bacteriophage φ29 pRNA and joins different components of φ29 as a linker element. In this work, we used all-atom MD simulation to study the thermal stability of 3WJ-pRNA and the underlying mechanisms. While 3WJ-pRNA can remain in its original structure without Mg

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect and mechanism of pterostilbene (Pte) on paraquat (PQ)-induced pulmonary fibrosis in rats. Methods The rats were randomly divided into control group, PQ group (intragastric administration of 50 mg/kg paraquat at one time), and low, medium and high dose of Pte intervention group (after 30 minutes of intragastric administration of PQ, 25, 50 and 100 mg/kg Pte were administered respectively. Once a day for 7 days). After 7 days of treatment, the morphology of lung tissue was evaluated by hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining microscopy and pulmonary fibrosis was evaluated by Masson trichrome staining. The level of IL-1β, IL-6 and MIP-2 in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) was determined by ELISA. MDA and SOD contents in lung tissues were detected with commercially available kit. The protein expression of E-cadherin, α-SMA, vimentin,Nrf2, NF-κB p65, NF-κB p65, TGF-β1, Smad3 and p-Smad3 in lung tissue was detected by Western blot. Results Compared with the control group, the injury degree of lung tissue, the score of pulmonary fibrosis, the level of IL-1β, IL-6 and MIP-2 in BALF, the content of MDA in lung tissue, the protein expression of α-SMA, vimentin and TGF-β1 and the phosphorylation level of NF-κB p65 and Smad3 protein in lung tissue were all significantly increased in PQ group (P<0.05), while the content of SOD and the protein expression of E-cadherin and Nrf2 in lung tissue were significantly decreased (P<0.05). After Pte intervention, the injury of lung tissue, the score of pulmonary fibrosis, the level of IL-1β, IL-6 and MIP-2 in BALF, the content of MDA in lung tissue, the protein expression of α-SMA, vimentin and TGF-β1 and the phosphorylation of NF-κB p65 and Smad3 protein in lung tissue were all significantly decreased in Pte group (P<0.05), while the content of SOD and the protein expression of E-cadherin and Nrf2 in lung tissue were significantly increased (P<0.05). Abstract Visual odometry estimates the motion of a moving camera based on visual input. Existing methods, mostly focusing on two-view point tracking, often ignore the rich temporal context in the image sequence, thereby overlooking the global motion patterns and providing no assessment of the full trajectory reliability. These shortcomings hinder performance in scenarios with occlusion, dynamic objects, and low-texture areas. To address these challenges, we present the Long-term Effective Any Point Tracking (LEAP) module. LEAP innovatively combines visual, inter-track, and temporal cues with mindfully selected anchors for dynamic track estimation. Moreover, LEAP's temporal probabilistic formulation integrates distribution updates into a learnable iterative refinement module to reason about point-wise uncertainty. Based on these traits, we develop LEAP-VO, a robust visual odometry system adept at handling occlusions and dynamic scenes. Our mindful integration showcases a novel practice by employing long-term point tracking as the front-end. Extensive experiments demonstrate that the proposed pipeline significantly outperforms existing baselines across various visual odometry benchmarks.
