Abstract The dynamics of debris flow impact considering the material source erosion-entrainment process is analyzed using a coupled SPH-DEM-FEM method. A complex coupled dynamic model of a debris flow, the erodible material source, and a rigid barrier is established in this paper. The applicability of the coupled SPH-DEM-FEM method for calculating the impact force of debris flow on the rigid barrier is verified by comparing the model with the laboratory test. The strain softening model is used to simulate the process from solid state to transition state and finally to liquid state of erodible material source. The impact force caused by debris flow considering the source erosion-entrainment process and the dynamic response of a rigid barrier is also analyzed. The results show that the volume of debris fluid, impact force, and dynamic response of a rigid barrier considering source erosion–entrainment are significantly greater than those of the original model. According to the calculation results, the existing formula for the impact force of a debris flow is then modified. The coupled numerical analysis method and the calculated results help to clarify the influence of erosion-entrainment, modify the calculation of the impact force of debris flow, and optimize the design of the rigid barrier.

Abstract Abstract Yue Opera is known as the second most important national opera in China. The costume is an important part of the performance of Yue Opera, which carries the culture and history of Yue Opera. The purpose of this paper is to attempt a virtual simulation of Yue Opera costumes through an understanding and analysis of Yue Opera costumes, as well as to use the extracted elements related to Yue Opera costumes for modern fashion design based on Yue Opera costume style. The research method of this paper is to draw 12 sets of traditional costumes of Yue Opera by understanding and studying the costume culture of Yue Opera and transform them into a 3D digital virtual presentation of the costumes. The costume elements are then extracted for costume design so that the designed fashions can reflect the cultural characteristics of Yue Opera, and then virtual simulation technology is used for costume display to realize the dissemination of Yue Opera costume culture. The use of three-dimensional virtual simulation technology to digitize costumes contributes to the preservation and dissemination of Yue Opera costume culture. Secondly, the design of modern fashion using the concept of Yue Opera plays a role in the preservation and dissemination of Yue Opera costume culture.

Abstract This paper takes the tomb murals as the research object, and realizes the development of the costume patterns of the Tang tomb murals and the 3D simulation restoration of the costumes through 3D interactive clothing pattern-making technology and virtual simulation technology. Firstly, the 3D garment model is constructed in the virtual environment according to the costume outline of the Tang Dynasty tomb mural costume. Then, the structural curves of the garment are drawn on the 3D garment according to the characteristics of the Tang Dynasty tomb mural garment style, the 3D surface is expanded and surrounded by these curves into the 2D garment plane, and the expanded surface is adjusted to obtain the 2D garment plane pattern. We use 3D virtual simulation technology to sew the patterns of Tang Dynasty tomb mural costumes and realize the virtual simulation restoration of Tang Dynasty tomb mural costumes. Finally, we create a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of the restoration effect of the restored costumes. Compared with the traditional costume restoration methods, the method proposed in this paper reduces the technical requirements for operators in the restoration process without destroying cultural relics, and provides a new method for the rapid simulation and restoration of ancient Chinese costumes.

Abstract Abstract Qin opera culture has a long history in China for thousands of years. It is the ancestor of Chinese opera. However, with the development of modern technology and the rise of new media, the protection and inheritance of traditional Qin opera culture is facing a new challenge and opportunity, its costume culture is the same. This paper analyzes the style and structure of Qin opera costumes, extracts the colors of the costumes, summarizes the costume patterns, and then uses the three-dimensional (3D) virtual visualization technology to virtually restore the Qin opera costume, and innovates the Qin opera costume. In this paper, twelve sets of traditional Qin opera costumes are virtually restored, and on this basis, the digital protection and innovative design of Qin opera series costumes are carried out, and all the restored costumes are displayed digitally in an all-round way. The combination of Qin opera costume and digital protection extends the application scope of virtual visualization technology and enriches the transmission mode of Qin opera costume. This study inherits and protects the traditional Qin opera costume culture better.

Abstract To investigate the toppling displacement evolution characteristics of anti-dip rock slopes, the Xiaodongcao-Zhengjiadagou bank slope is taken as an engineering case, and firstly, the geological geometric distribution characteristics of the slope are obtained by superimposing the lithology, slope, and elevation raster layers of the slope through ArcGIS, and the geological partition with the largest area is the Lower Triassic Daye Formation, bottom elevation, and medium slope; based on the actual surface displacement monitoring data, the spatio-temporal evolution nephogram of toppling displacement of bank slope every half year is interpolated by Inverse Distance Weight method, and then the last displacement nephogram is assigned to the thousandth and superimposed with the geological geometric partition to obtain the displacement superposition characteristics. The results show that: the obvious zone of horizontal displacement deformation mainly occurs in the front and middle of the bank slope, mainly shear deformation, vertical displacement is primarily in the front and the back edge of the bank slope and the total displacement deformation is more similar to the horizontal displacement; the horizontal displacement value is larger than the vertical displacement value, the horizontal displacement deformation controls the overall deformation of the bank slope; through the analysis of the geometric superposition evolution of the anti-dip rock slope, the displacement superposition strong deformation zone is located at the boundary between the Triassic Jialingjiang Formation (T1j) and the Triassic Daye Formation (T1d).

Abstract With diverse atmospheric circulation and complex mechanisms, typhoon remote rainstorms (TRR) are closely related to a variety of mid-low latitude systems. The anomalous signatures in such processes can improve forecasting heavy rainfall associated with typhoons and fill the gaps in current physical conceptual models of TRR. Using the optimal typhoon path dataset, ground observation data, and the National Centres for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) reanalysis dataset, the impact of anomalous water vapour transport on excessive rainfall in North China is investigated. The vector empirical orthogonal function (VEOF) analysis is applied to typhoon precipitation events from 1970 to 2021, and three major modes are extracted to reflect the anomalous water vapour transport for typhoon precipitation. Mode 1 reflects a moisture circulation pattern in North China due to the coexistence of typhoons and remote and direct precipitation, with the highest probability of heavy precipitation. The differences in remote precipitation areas and intensities are attributed to the location of typhoons in the western North Pacific and the shifting of the subtropical high ridge. To characterise the water vapour transport circulation of TRR in North China, we proposed the ‘multi-vortex’ idea. The transmission of the multi-vortex ensures a continuous supply of TRR water vapour, and the enhancement of the multi-vortex is significantly linked to the enhancement of remote precipitation. Three extreme northern rainstorms, 75·8 Henan, 7·21 Beijing, and 7·20 Zhengzhou rainstorms, have anomalous multi-vortex water vapour convergence, similar to Mode 1. The mechanism of water vapour driven by multi-vortex in the three severe rainstorm events is more extreme than in usual TRR events in North China. The stronger Indian low vortex and relatively southerly subtropical highs can intensify the southwest branch of the double water vapour transport branch, whereas the strengthening of typhoons in the western North Pacific facilitates water vapour ...

Abstract Ventricular remodeling is related to the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, immune system, and various cytokines involved in inflammation, apoptosis, and cell signal regulation. Accumulated studies have shown that traditional Chinese medicine can significantly inhibit the process of ventricular remodeling, which may be related to the mechanism mentioned above. Here, we conducted a system overview to critically review the cellular and molecular mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine on ventricular remodeling. We mainly searched PubMed for basic research about the anti-ventricular remodeling of traditional Chinese medicine in 5 recent years, and then objectively summarized these researches. We included more than 25 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines including Qi-Li-Qian-Xin, Qi-Shen-Yi-Qi Pill, Xin-Ji-Er-Kang Formula, and Yi-Qi-Wen-Yang Decoction, and found that they can inhibit ventricular remodeling effectively through multi-components and multi-action targets, which are promoting the clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine.

Abstract Abstract We present a novel augmented reality (AR) interface to provide effective means to diagnose a robot's erroneous behaviors, endow it with new skills, and patch its knowledge structure represented by an And‐Or‐Graph (AOG). Specifically, an AOG representation of opening medicine bottles is learned from human demonstration and yields a hierarchical structure that captures the spatiotemporal compositional nature of the given task, which is highly interpretable for the users. Through a series of psychological experiments, we demonstrate that the explanations of a robotic system, inherited from and produced by the AOG, can better foster human trust compared to other forms of explanations. Moreover, by visualizing the knowledge structure and robot states, the AR interface allows human users to intuitively understand what the robot knows, supervise the robot's task planner, and interactively teach the robot with new actions. Together, users can quickly identify the reasons for failures and conveniently patch the current knowledge structure to prevent future errors. This capability demonstrates the interpretability of our knowledge representation and the new forms of interactions afforded by the proposed AR interface.

Abstract As precious cultural heritage sites, the state of preservation of cave temples is closely related to the geological and climatic conditions in which they are located. This paper constructed an analytical method of sized slate stability based on the equivalent support stiffness method. The stability analysis of the roof slab of Yuanjue Cave was carried out by establishing a three-dimensional numerical calculation model. Through comparative analysis of the results of stress and displacement fields under different conditions, the stress and deformation characteristics of the roof slab of Yuanjue Cave were revealed, as well as the study of the main factors affecting the stability of the roof slab of Yuanjue Cave and the key slate to be monitored. The main research results are as follows. The stress deformation of the roof plate of Yuanjue cave is mainly divided into the initial uniform change stage, the medium-term stable change stage or the medium-term accelerated change stage, and the later rapid change stage. With the increase in the number of overhanging and broken slates and the increase in the damage factor of cracked slates, the vertical stress extremum of the stones increases continuously, and the equivalent support stiffness decreases, which aggravates the uneven stress deformation of the roof of the Yuanjue Cave. This study provides a reliable reference basis for the stability analysis and evaluation of the roof slab of a large number of cave temples existing in the Sichuan and Chongqing areas in China.
