    Abstract Background and Objectives
Materials and methods: We consecutively enrolled 278 women between 2012 and 2019 in this multicentre trial. The patients underwent robotic single-site hysterectomy (RSSH) or laparoendoscopic single-site hysterectomy (LESSH) procedures with or without salpingo-oophorectomy for benign indications. Surgical parameters and surgical outcomes were analysed.
Results: There was a statistical difference between the two surgical techniques for total operative time (
Conclusions: LESSH outperformed RSSH in terms of surgical performance and clinical outcomes, with no differences in adverse events.

Abstract Objectives: Laparoendoscopic single-site surgery (LESS) and mini-laparoscopic surgery (Mini-LPS) have been performed with comparable results to conventional laparoscopy. However, there are few data on the comparison between them. Our main objective was to compare LESS and Mini-LPS in terms of surgical time, postoperative pain, and hospital stay in patients who underwent hysterectomy for benign pathology.
Design: It is a retrospective international multicentric study carried out in 5 centers including 2 Spanish and 3 Italian.
Methods: Data from patients who underwent hysterectomy for benign pathology between January 1, 2010, and December 31, 2015, were reviewed. We collected the clinical-pathological characteristics of the patients and the perioperative results. The main variables of the study were surgical time, the switch to oral analgesia, and the hospital stay. The two comparison groups in the study included patients undergoing hysterectomy for benign pathology by LESS or by Mini-LPS. The decision to perform the type of procedure was left to the discretion of the surgeon, based primarily on the surgical skills and experience of the center. All data were collected retrospectively by an online encrypted platform.
Results: 161 patients were included in the study. 104 (64.6%) patients underwent LESS hysterectomy and 57 (35.4%) Mini-LPS. Median surgical time was significantly longer in the LESS group when compared to the Mini-LPS group (120 vs. 75 min, respectively; p < 0.001). Moreover, longer median hospital stay was observed in the LESS group compared to Mini-LPS (48 vs. 36 h, respectively; p < 0.001). Conversion of the technique to conventional LPS was performed in 4 (2.5%) patients, all of them in the Mini-LPS group (p = 0.015).
Limitations: It is a retrospective study with the biases that this implies. Furthermore, some variables have been incompletely registered in the database, which implies loss of information. This is a nonrandomized study since the decision to intervene with one or another technique was made by the surgeon, which generated 2 nonhomogeneous groups in terms of the number of patients. On the other hand, all the patients who underwent Mini-LPS hysterectomy belonged to the same center, which may have made these results center dependent.
Conclusions: Significant shorter surgical time and shorter hospital stay were observed in patients undergoing Mini-LPS hysterectomy compared to LESS technique; however, intraoperative complications related to instrumentation flaws were higher in the mini-LPS group that required conversion to standard laparoscopy in all cases. Both ultra-minimally invasive techniques seem safe to perform hysterectomies for benign pathology and emphasize the importance in surgical training to adapt them to our current practice.

Abstract WHAT IS KNOWN ON THE SUBJECT?: People with mental health difficulties have poorer physical health than the general population. The stigmatizing attitude of health professionals impacts the quality of care for these people. There is a broad background on the effectiveness of activities based on theoretical training, clinical practices or social contact to improve nursing students' attitudes towards people with mental health difficulties. There is an important need to assess whether the benefits identified in the short term are maintained in the longer term. WHAT DOES THE PAPER ADD TO EXISTING KNOWLEDGE?: The positive evolution of attitudes towards mental illness does not last over time. Some students' attitude towards people with a mental health difficulty worsened in the final stage of their training after completing clinical practices. WHAT ARE THE IMPLICATIONS FOR PRACTICE?: It is necessary for tutors incorporate an understanding of stigma throughout the degree training and to discuss with the students the emotional aspects experienced during the performance of clinical practices. The design of any anti-stigma intervention must include the factor of "time". ABSTRACT: Introduction The stigma of health professionals is a contributing factor to morbi-mortality among people with mental health difficulties. There is a lack of research on long-term outcomes in nursing students. Objective To identify factors associated with the evolution of stigmatizing attitudes towards mental illness in a cohort of students trained in mental health. Method A prospective observational study of the impact of training in mental health care. Age, gender, stigma, level of previous familiarity with mental illness, self-education by Internet, academic performance and the place where practicums are conducted were evaluated on three occasions over 15 months. Results Academic performance, online consultation and the size or origin of the theoretical group were indicators of better attitudes. The positive evolution of attitudes does not last over time. Discussion Instability over time could be explained by students' experience in the practicum, although the time itself has been identified as a determining factor. Practical implications Further studies should be promoted in academia to assess the content of mental health training and its influence on the evolution of the stigmatizing attitude. It is also necessary to address stigma in small groups, where students with better academic results lead anti-stigma activities.

Abstract Objective: To determine the incidence of serous tubal intraepithelial carcinoma (STIC) after risk reduction salpingo-oophorectomy(RRSO), and to describe oncological outcomes after RRSO.
Materials and methods: BRCA pathogenic mutation carriers who had undergone an RRSO were evaluated in this retrospective multicenter observational study. Patients were only included when fallopian tubes were analyzed following the protocol for Sectioning and Extensively Examining the FIMbria (SEE-FIM). Surgeries were performed between June 2010 and April 2017 at eight Spanish hospitals.
Results: A total of 359 patients met the inclusion criteria. STIC was diagnosed in 3 (0.8%) patients; one of them underwent surgical staging due to positive peritoneal washing, with absence of disease at the final pathology report. None of the three patients received adjuvant chemotherapy and were free of disease at last follow-up. Fallopian tube and ovarian carcinoma were diagnosed in 5 (1.4%) and 1 (0.3%), respectively. At a median (range) follow-up time of 29 (3-92) months, five patients had a newly diagnosed breast cancer. Other types of cancer, which were diagnosed during the follow-up time, included: serous primary peritoneal carcinoma (n = 1), serous endometrial carcinoma (n = 1), colon (n = 1), pancreas (n = 1), jaw (n = 1), and lymphoma (n = 1). Seven patients died due to different types of cancer: breast (n = 4), pancreas (n = 1), jaw (n = 1), and colon (n = 1).
Conclusion: The incidence of STIC after RRSO in BRCA mutation carriers is low (0.8%) and it presents an excellent oncological outcome. Patients after RRSO, however, run the risk to develop other types of cancer during follow-up and should be properly advised before the prophylactic surgery.

Abstract Background: Attitudes are a component of our behaviour. Health professionals should have a global perspective of disability. They must provide treatment to people with disability and care for them, but they also should accept them with no judgements or discrimination. The general objective of this study was to know the attitude towards people with disability of nursing and physiotherapy students at the University of Cadiz.
Methods: This was a descriptive, correlational, transversal and synchronous study. A total of 200 students participated in the study (91 from the bachelor's degree in nursing and 109 from the bachelor's degree in physiotherapy). The 'Attitudes towards people with disability scale' was used.
Results: The mean score for both groups of students was 157.05 (SD = 14.14).
Conclusions: Attitudes towards disability of nursing and physiotherapy students at the University of Cadiz tend to be positive. However, this was considered not sufficient since they will be health professionals in the future.

Abstract Metalaxyl and carbofuran dissipation was studied in response to different factors (soil bacterial communities, light irradiation, presence of an inorganic culture medium and presence of soil) and combinations of these factors in short-term experiments (48h). The soil microbial communities have no effect on metalaxyl or carbofuran dissipation in the time scale employed. Light irradiation and soil promote metalaxyl and carbofuran dissipation by photodegradation and adsorption, respectively. However, photodegradation has a stronger effect on metalaxyl and carbofuran dissipation than the adsorption of the pesticides in the soil. The addition of the culture medium have no direct effect on pesticide dissipation, degradation by microbial communities or adsorption but its presence greatly increased photodegradation.

Abstract A stirred flow reactor was used to study the influence of phosphorus on the adsorption and desorption kinetics of copper in two acid soils on granite and amphibolite. The presence of P was found to significantly increase Cu adsorption in both soils, albeit at different types of sites (mainly in slow adsorption sites in the soil on granite, and both in fast and slow adsorption sites in that on amphibolite). The increased Cu sorption at fast sites in the amphibolite soil was due to its high content in Fe oxyhydroxides, which bound P and released OH(-) as a result, thereby raising the pH and leading to a higher sorption capacity during fast reactions. On the other hand, the increased Cu sorption at slow adsorption sites was due to Cu(2+) acting as a bridging element between P and organic matter.

Abstract Different methods (batch, column and stirred flow chamber experiments) used for adsorption and desorption of carbofuran studies were compared. All tested methods showed that the carbofuran adsorption was higher in the soil with the higher organic matter content, whereas the opposite behaviour was observed for the percentage of carbofuran desorbed. However, different methods have revealed some discrepancies in carbofuran adsorption/desorption kinetics. Although batch method showed interesting data on equilibrium experiments, such as a low heterogeneity for the carbofuran adsorption sites independent of soil organic matter content, it had some disadvantages for carbofuran adsorption/desorption kinetic studies. The disadvantages were related with the excessive limitations of this method on kinetics, i.e., no difference could be detected between different soils. However, with column and stirred flow chamber methods the carbofuran adsorption/desorption kinetics of different soils could be compared. Moreover, the absolute values of carbofuran adsorption/desorption and its rate were higher in the stirred flow chamber than in the batch and column experiments. Using stirred flow chamber experiments the carbofuran desorption was significantly faster than its adsorption, whereas carbofuran using column experiments they were similar. These discrepancies should be considered when the results obtained only with one method is discussed.
