Abstract Music performance research is a comprehensive study of aspects such as emotional analysis and personalisation in music performance, which help to add richness and creativity to the art of music performance. The labels in this paper in collaborative annotation contain rich personalised descriptive information as well as item content information and can therefore be used to help provide better recommendations. The algorithm is based on bipartite graph node structure similarity and restarted random wandering. It analyses the connection between users, items, and tags in the music social network, firstly constructs the adjacency relationship between music and tags, obtains the music recommendation list and indirectly associated music collection, then fuses the results according to the proposed algorithm, and reorders them to obtain the final recommendation list, thus realising the personalised music recommendation algorithm. The experiments show that the proposed method can meet the personalised demand of users for music on this dataset.

Abstract Corn is a crucial crop in China and is widely cultivated in the mercury (Hg) mining region of Guizhou. This study analyzed the Hg content in soil and corn plant samples from the Wuchuan Hg mining area (WCMA) and the surrounding non-Hg mining regions (SNMR). The findings suggest that ongoing ecological rehabilitation and environmental conservation measures in the WCMA have significantly decreased the Hg content in corn kernels. The Hg concentration in different parts of the corn plant varied, being higher in the roots, tassels, and leaves and lower in kernels and stalks. Hg stored in corn plant growing in the WCMA primarily originates from the soil (55.4%), while in the SNMR, it mainly comes from the atmosphere (74.9%). Despite counted only about 7% of the total plant mass, corn roots play a crucial role in soil Hg pollution remediation when corn is used for remediation. Household corn residues burning release about 58.5% and 66.9% of the stored Hg in corn plants growing in the WCMA and the SNMR, respectively, into the atmosphere. Our findings indicate that corn cultivation acts as a reservoir for both soil and atmospheric Hg in the SNMR, while in the WCMA, it serves as a source of atmospheric Hg.

Abstract Immunoglobulin-like (Ig-like) fold domains are abundant on the surface of bacteria, where they are required for cell-to-cell recognition, adhesion, biofilm formation, and conjugative transfer. Fibrillar adhesins are proteins with Ig-like fold(s) that have filamentous structures at the cell surface, being thinner and more flexible than pili. While the roles of fibrillar adhesins have been proposed in bacteria overall, their characterization in Vibrio parahaemolyticus has not been established and, therefore, understanding about fibrillar adhesins remain limited in V . parahaemolyticus . This in silico analysis can aid in the systematic identification of Ig-like-folded and fibrillar adhesin-like proteins in V. parahaemolyticus , opening new avenues for disease prevention by interfering in microbial interaction between V. parahaemolyticus and the host.

Abstract Disability is a component of social relations and the existence of social reality. An effective solution to the problem of persons with disabilities is a measure of human civilization and social progress. The strength of the implementation of disability policy is the key to the realization of the original intention of “effectively solving the problem of disabled persons and promoting their development”. The purpose of this paper is to study the physical fitness evaluation system and medical rehabilitation strategies of physically handicapped adolescents with natural language processing technology. It mainly adopts literature research, interview and comparative analysis. Taking the rehabilitation policy for the disabled as the research starting point, the current situation of mental health of physically disabled adolescents will be examined, and the influence of physical exercise attitude and exercise level on mental health will be explored. And by comparing the difference in physical exercise level and mental health of physically handicapped youth and able-bodied youth, the effect of physical exercise on mental health of physically handicapped youth is further explained. This paper selects a total of 760 physically disabled students and able-bodied students from a secondary school as subjects, and uses research methods such as questionnaire survey and computer test to investigate the current situation of mental health of physically disabled adolescents and the relationship between physical exercise and mental health. The experimental results show that the spatiotemporal judgment experiment uses pixel difference as an indicator, and the judgment error of limb residual limbs is significantly larger than that of healthy limbs (p < 0.01). In the span of spatial location memory, the grades of the limb-restrained students were significantly lower than that of the able-bodied students (p < 0.05).

Abstract A high-precision binocular camera calibration method is proposed to address the issues of poor calibration accuracy and large calibration errors in current practical applications. This method uses a triangular stereo sphere as the calibration object and employs steps, such as ellipse fitting, Cholesky decomposition, homography matrix solution, and nonlinear optimization, to compute the intrinsic and extrinsic parameters, distortion parameters, and relative pose of the binocular camera. Moreover, this method simplifies the correspondences between primitives, enabling simultaneous calibration of multiple viewpoint cameras. This method is also suitable for both binocular cameras consisting of two different structured monocular cameras and those composed of two image sensors within the same structure. Experimental results showed that this method outperforms traditional algorithms in terms of binocular camera calibration accuracy, calibration errors between left and right cameras, and robustness, resulting in a significant improvement in overall algorithm performance.

Abstract Zinan Temple is one of the Taoist temples in Taiwan, demonstrating the vital status of religious activities and beliefs. Creating religious products that tourists like through unique religious resources and conducting product differentiation competitions is essential for religious tourism to attract tourists. The research used a convenience sampling method, and 377 online questionnaires were distributed and used SPSS 21.0 to conduct linear regression. This research affirms the positive effect of product attachment on loyalty through indispensability and irreplaceability, as well as irreplaceability being a more critical intermediary variable. This research has verified the theoretical impact of religious tourism products on loyalty and makes specific recommendations on improving Taoist tourists’ loyalty to enhance the tourism competitiveness of Zinan Temple. Therefore, this research provides practical suggestions for religious development and cultural sustainability.

Abstract Even though sunlight energy far outweighs the energy required by human activities, its utilization is a key goal in the field of renewable energies. Microalgae have emerged as a promising new and sustainable feedstock for meeting rising food and feed demand. Because traditional methods of microalgal improvement are likely to have reached their limits, genetic engineering is expected to allow for further increases in the photosynthesis and productivity of microalgae. Understanding the mechanisms that control photosynthesis will enable researchers to identify targets for genetic engineering and, in the end, increase biomass yield, offsetting the costs of cultivation systems and downstream biomass processing. This review describes the molecular events that happen during photosynthesis and microalgal productivity through genetic engineering and discusses future strategies and the limitations of genetic engineering in microalgal productivity. We highlight the major achievements in manipulating the fundamental mechanisms of microalgal photosynthesis and biomass production, as well as promising approaches for making significant contributions to upcoming microalgal-based biotechnology.

Abstract Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) encompass short open reading frames (sORFs) that can be translated into small peptides. Here, we investigated the encoding potential of lncRNA LINC00665 in osteosarcoma (OS) cells. Bioinformatic analyses were utilized to predict the lncRNAs with encoding potential in human U2OS cells. Protein expression was assessed by an immunoblotting or immunofluorescence method. Cell viability was assessed by cell counting Kit-8 (CCK-8). Cell proliferation was detected by 5-ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine (EdU) assay. Cell migration was gauged by transwell assay. The downstream effectors of the short peptide were verified using qualitative proteome analysis after immunoprecipitation (IP) experiments. The effect of the short peptide on protein interactions were confirmed by Co-Immunoprecipitation (CoIP) assays. We found that lncRNA LINC00665 encoded an 18-amino acid (aa)-long short peptide (named LINC00665_18aa). LINC00665_18aa suppressed the viability, proliferation, and migration of human MNNG-HOS and U2OS OS cells in vitro and diminished tumor growth in vivo. Mechanistically, LINC00665_18aa impaired the transcriptional activity, nuclear localization, and phosphorylation of cAMP response element-binding protein 1 (CREB1). Moreover, LINC00665_18aa weakened the interaction between CREB1 and ribosomal protein S6 kinase A3 (RPS6KA3, RSK2). Additionally, increased expression of CREB1 reversed the inhibitory effects of LINC00665_18aa on OS cell proliferation and migration. Our findings show that the short peptide LINC00665_18aa exerts a tumor-inhibitory function in OS, providing a new basis for cancer therapeutics through the functions of the short peptides encoded by lncRNAs.
