    Abstract Registries constitute an interesting source of real-world data and bring complementary information to randomised controlled trials. They are of particular importance in rare diseases such as Waldenström macroglobulinaemia (WM), which can present with various clinical and biological features. In their paper Uppal and colleagues describe the development of the Rory Morrison Registry, the UK registry for WM and IgM-related disorders and highlight the profound changes in therapies both at first-line and relapsed settings in the recent years.     Abstract Over the last decade, the advent of Bruton tyrosine kinase inhibitors (BTKi) has profoundly modified the therapeutic strategy in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), introducing the concept of treatment until progression. Initially, the bcl-2 inhibitor venetoclax (VEN) was used as a single agent and then was rapidly combined in VEN-based regimens associated with either anti-CD20 or with BTKi. These regimens yielded a high rate of complete remission, leading to their use as a fixed duration treatment. The decision between continuous treatment with BTKi and VEN-based combinations relies mostly on comorbidities, comedications, and patient/physician preferences. Notably, with BTKi, cardiovascular comorbidities, hypertension, and potential pharmacological interactions should be carefully evaluated. On the other hand, the risk of tumor lysis syndrome with VEN should be monitored at treatment initiation. TP53 alteration and IGHV mutational status should also be assessed, as they remain important for therapeutic decisions. Fit patients with a TP53 wild type and IGHV-mutated CLL may still benefit from fludarabine-cyclophosphamide-rituximab chemoimmunotherapy (CIT), as it may result in a very long remission duration. VEN-based treatments are well tolerated, and no additional toxicity has been observed when combined with anti-CD20 or BTKi. The 1-year fixed-duration association of VEN plus obinutuzumab was evaluated in frontline for older adult patients. Nonetheless, considering the favorable outcome, an extension of indication for fit younger patients is expected. The association of VEN and BTKi is promising, even if the follow-up is still short. It is currently being tested against CIT, BTKi continuous treatment, and VEN plus anti-CD20.

    Abstract Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the value of the "cerebellum/ liver index for prognosis" (CLIP) as a new prognostic marker in pretherapeutic 18F-Fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (18F-FDG PET) in patients with follicular lymphoma treated by immunochemotherapy and rituximab maintenance, focusing on progression-free survival (PFS).Clinicobiological and imaging data from patients with follicular lymphoma between March 2010 and September 2015 were retrospectively collected and 5-year PFS was determined. The conventional PET parameters (maximum standardized uptake value and total metabolic tumor volume) and the CLIP, corresponding to the ratio of the cerebellum maximum standardized uptake value over the liver SUVmean, were extracted from the pretherapeutic 18F-FDG PET.Forty-six patients were included. Eighteen patients (39%) progressed within the 5 years after treatment initiation. Five-year PFS was 78.6% when CLIP was >4.0 and 42.0% when CLIP was <4.0 (P = .04). CLIP was a significant predictor of PFS on univariate analysis (hazard ratio 3.1, P = .049) and was near-significant on multivariate analysis (hazard ratio 2.8, P = .07) with ECOG PS as a cofactor.The CLIP derived from pretherapeutic 18F-FDG PET seems to be an interesting predictive marker of PFS in follicular lymphoma treated by immunochemotherapy and rituximab maintenance. These results should be evaluated prospectively in a larger cohort.

    Abstract Histologic transformation (HT) to diffuse large B-cell lymphoma occurs rarely in Waldenström macroglobulinemia, with higher incidence in MYD88 wild-type patients. HT is suspected clinically when rapidly enlarging lymph nodes, elevated lactate dehydrogenase levels, or extranodal disease occur. Histologic assessment is required for diagnosis. HT carries a worse prognosis compared with nontransformed Waldenström macroglobulinemia. A validated prognostic score based on three adverse risk factors stratifies three risk groups. The most common frontline treatment is chemoimmunotherapy, such as R-CHOP. Central nervous system prophylaxis should be considered if feasible and consolidation with autologous transplant should be discussed in fit patients responding to chemoimmunotherapy.

    Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine whether texture analysis features present on pretreatment unenhanced computed tomography (CT) images, derived from 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission/computed tomography (18-FDG PET/CT), can predict progression-free survival (PFS), progression-free survival at 24 months (PFS 24), time to next treatment (TTNT), and overall survival in patients with high-tumor-burden follicular lymphoma treated with immunochemotherapy and rituximab maintenance. Seventy-two patients with follicular lymphoma were retrospectively included. Texture analysis was performed on unenhanced CT images extracted from 18-FDG PET/CT examinations that were obtained within one month before treatment. Time to lymphoma treatment (TLT) initiation can however be very heterogeneous and risk factors of progression are poorly studied. Our study evaluated 201 pts with grade 1-3a low-tumor burden FL diagnosed in four French centers between 2010 and 2020 and managed by a watch and wait strategy in real-life settings.     Abstract Objective: 18F-FDG PET/CT provides valuable informations regarding the prognosis of DLBCL. The aim of this study is to test a novel index based on cerebellar uptake to predict progression free survival in DLBCL patients.
    Methods: Data from patients with de novo DLBCL between January 2011 and December 2018 were retrospectively collected and PFS was determined. The conventional PET parameters (SUV
    Results: Ninety-five patients were included. When using a threshold of 3.24, CLIP was a significant predictor of PFS on univariate analysis (HR 3.4, p < 0.001) with different 5-year survival rates: 68% (CLIP ≥ 3.24) versus 32% (CLIP < 3.24). Multivariate analysis confirmed the prognostic value of CLIP, as it is one of the two factors remaining significant with β2-microglobulin (HR 2.1 and 2.5 respectively, p = 0.04 and p = 0.03). A score associating β2-microglobulin and CLIP allowed to separate the population into three groups of different outcome in terms of 5-year PFS: low risk (80%), intermediate risk (42%) and high risk (17%).
    Conclusions: The CLIP derived from pre-therapeutic 18F-FDG PET seems to be an interesting predictive marker of PFS in DLBCL treated by immunochemotherapy.

    Abstract Adapted physical activity (APA) improves quality of life and cancer outcomes. The aim of this study was to assess the feasibility of an APA program in outpatients beginning medical anticancer treatment. The secondary objective was to assess the impact of APA on fatigue, anxiety, depression, and handgrip strength (HGS). This prospective study was conducted between January and July 2017. Among 226 patients beginning treatment in the unit for a digestive, lung, hematological, or dermatological cancer, 163 were included. Adherence to the APA program was defined as more than or equal to one one-hour session per week for 3 months. The first evaluation was conducted at 3 months (M3), and the second evaluation at 6 months (M6). A total of 163 patients were included (mean age 62.5 ± 14.3); 139 (85.3%) agreed to follow the APA program. At M3, 106 of them were evaluated, of which 86 (81.1%) declared that they had followed the program. Improvement in anxiety was observed at M3 (-1.0 ± 3.2;
