Abstract There are numerous contagious diseases caused by pathogenic microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites, that have the propensity to culminate in fatal consequences. A communicable disease is an illness caused by a contagion agent or its toxins and spread directly or indirectly to a susceptible animal or human host by an infected person, animal, vector, or immaterial environment. Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, hepatitis A, B, and C, and measles are all examples of communicable diseases. Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is a communicable disease caused by HIV infection that has become the most severe issue facing humanity. The research work in this paper is to numerically explore a mathematical model and demonstrate the dynamics of HIV/AIDS disease transmission using a continuous Galerkin-Petrov time discretization of a higher-order scheme, specifically the cGP(2)-scheme. Depict a graphical and tabular comparison between the outcomes of the mentioned scheme and those obtained through other classical schemes that exist in the literature. Further, a comparison is performed relative to the well-known fourth-order Ruge-Kutta (RK4) method with different step sizes. By contrast, the suggested approach provided more accurate results with a larger step size than RK4 with a smaller step size. After validation and confirmation of the suggested scheme and code, we implement the method to the extended model by introducing a treatment rate and show the impact of various non-linear source terms for the generation of new cells. We also determined the basic reproduction number and use the Routh-Hurwitz criterion to assess the stability of disease-free and unique endemic equilibrium states of the HIV model.

Abstract Zadeh's Z̆-numbers are able to more effectively characterize uncertain information. Combined with "constraint" and "reliability". It is more powerful at expressing human knowledge. While the reliability of data can have a direct impact on the precision of decisions. The key challenge in solving a Z̆-number issue is reasoning about both fuzzy and probabilistic uncertainty. Existing research on the Z̆-number measure is only some, and most studies cannot adequately convey the benefits of Z̆-information and the properties of Z̆-number. Considering this study void, this work concurrently investigated the randomness and fuzziness of Z̆-number with Spherical fuzzy sets. We first introduced the spherical fuzzy Z-numbers (SFZNs), whose elements are pairwise comparisons of the decision-maker's options. It can be used effectively to make true ambiguous judgments, reflecting the fuzzy nature, flexibility, and applicability of decision making data. We developed the operational laws and aggregation operators such as the weighted averaging operator, the ordered weighted averaging operator, the hybrid averaging operator, the weighted geometric operator, the ordered weighted geometric operator, and the hybrid geometric operator for SFZ̆Ns. Furthermore, two algorithm are developed to tackle the uncertain information in the form of spherical fuzzy Z̆-numbers based to the proposed aggregation operators and TODIM methodology. Finally, we developed the relative comparison and discussion analysis to show the practicability and efficacy of the suggested operators and approach.

Abstract The construction industry commonly employs concrete as a construction material, which sometimes may be subjected to fire exposure. It is important to adopt fire safety measures while planning and constructing such structures to ensure the safety of the occupants and the structural integrity of the concrete. So, determining its performance at elevated temperatures is of utmost importance. The main objective of this study was to investigate the impact of mineral incorporations, namely, nano bentonite clay (NBC) and nano fly ash (NFA), on the retained properties of concrete at normal (27°C) and at elevated temperatures. The feasibility of partly substituting ordinary Portland cement utilizing a mixture of NBC (0–5%) and NFA (0–50%) in concrete was assessed under the exposure to an elevated temperature ranging from 200 to 600°C. Several parameters were examined, including compressive strength, flexural strength, split tensile capacity, water penetration, loss of mass, ultrasound pulse velocity, and microstructure properties. After the experimental analysis, it was observed that the fire endurance was shown to be improved with the inclusion of nanoparticles (BC and FA). A reduction in the loss of mass by samples subjected to elevated heat was observed with the addition of nano bentonite and NFA. The mechanical strength results were obtained as maximum for the concrete specimens with 2% NBC and 20% NFA and further, the specimens performed better when exposed to elevated temperature as compared with normal concrete specimens. The microstructure of the concrete also upgraded with better impermeability owing to the use of NBC and NFA.

Abstract The existing work deals with the Jeffrey fluid having an unsteady flow, which is moving along a vertical plate. A fractional model with ternary, hybrid, and nanoparticles is obtained. Using suitable dimensionless parameters, the equations for energy, momentum, and Fourier's law were converted into non-dimensional equations. In order to obtain a fractional model, a fractional operator known as the Prabhakar operator is used. To find a generalized solution for temperature as well as a velocity field, the Laplace transform is used. With the help of graphs, the impact of various parameters on velocity as well as temperature distribution is obtained. As a result, it is noted that ternary nanoparticles approach can be used to increase the temperature than the results obtained in the recent existing literature. The obtained solutions are also useful in the sense of choosing base fluids (water, kerosene and engine oil) for nanoparticles to achieved the desired results. Further, by finding the specific value of fractional parameters, the thermal and boundary layers can be controlled for different times. Such a fractional approach is very helpful in handling the experimental data by using theoretical information. Moreover, the rate of heat transfer for ternary nanoparticles is greater in comparison to hybrid and mono nanoparticles. For large values of fractional parameters, the rate of heat transfer decreases while skin friction increases. Finally, the present results are the improvement of the results that have already been published recently in the existing literature. Fractional calculus enables us to control the boundary layers as well as rate of heat transfer and skin friction for finding suitable values of fractional parameters. This approach can be very helpful in electronic devices and industrial heat management system.

Abstract The foremost focus of this article was to investigate the entropy generation in hydromagnetic flow of generalized Newtonian Carreau nanofluid through a converging and diverging channel. In addition, a heat transport analysis was performed for Carreau nanofluid using the Buongiorno model in the presence of viscous dissipation and Joule heating. The second law of thermodynamics was employed to model the governing flow transport along with entropy generation arising within the system. Entropy optimization analysis is accentuated as its minimization is the best measure to enhance the efficiency of thermal systems. This irreversibility computation and optimization were carried out in the dimensional form to obtain a better picture of the system's entropy generation. With the help of proper dimensionless transformations, the modeled flow equations were converted into a system of non-linear ordinary differential equations. The numerical solutions were derived using an efficient numerical method, the Runge-Kutta Fehlberg method in conjunction with the shooting technique. The computed results were presented graphically through different profiles of velocity, temperature, concentration, entropy production, and Bejan number. From the acquired results, we perceive that entropy generation is augmented with higher Brinkman and Reynolds numbers. It is significant to mention that the system's entropy production grew near its two walls, where the irreversibility of heat transfer predominates, in contrast to the channel's center, where the irreversibility of frictional force predominates. These results serve as a valuable guide for designing and optimizing channels with diverging-converging profiles required in several heat-transfer applications.

Abstract This paper introduces a novel theoretical model of ternary nanoparticles for the improvement of heat transmission. Ternary nanoparticles in a heat conductor are shown in this model. Ternary nanoparticles consist of three types of nanoparticles with different physical properties, and they are suspended in a base fluid. Analytical solutions for the temperature and velocity fields are found by using the Laplace transform approach and are modeled by using a novel fractional operator. As a result, the ternary nanoparticles are identified, and an improved heat transfer feature is observed. Further experimental research on ternary nanoparticles is being carried out in anticipation of a faster rate of heat transmission. According to the graphed data, ternary nanoparticles have greater thermal conductivity than that of hybrid nanoparticles. Moreover, the fractional approach based on the Fourier law is a more reliable and efficient way of modeling the heat transfer problem than the artificial approach. The researchers were driven to create a concept of existing nanoparticles in order to boost heat transfer, since there is a strong demand in the industry for a cooling agent with improved heat transfer capabilities.

Abstract Materials such as oxide and halide perovskites that simultaneously exhibit spontaneous polarization and absorption of visible light are called photoferroelectrics. They hold great promise for the development of applications in optoelectronics, information storage, and energy conversion. Devices based on ferroelectric photovoltaic materials yield an open-circuit voltage that is much higher than the band gap of the corresponding active material owing to a strong internal electric field. Their efficiency has been proposed to exceed the Shockley-Queisser limit for ideal solar cells. In this paper, we present theoretical calculations of the photovoltaic properties of the ferroelectric phase of the inorganic germanium halide perovskite (CsGeI

Abstract Optimizing the pigment volume concentration of zinc phosphate pigments can protect Al alloy 6101 from alkaline media. Additionally, zinc phosphate pigments form a shielding film on the substrate and facilitate stopping the penetration of aggressive corrosion ions. The efficiency of eco-friendly zinc phosphate pigments is almost 98% during the corrosion analysis. A comparative study of physical aging of neat epoxy and Zinc Phosphate (ZP) pigment-modified epoxy coatings on Al alloy 6101 was conducted in Xi'an, China, for one year in all four seasons, where in summer for 3 months, results degraded more due to high UV radiation and humidity; it is found that peeling force of ZP pigments modified epoxy coatings is 50% higher of than that of the neat epoxy coatings though both peel-off adhesion strength and scratch test visibility decreased in both coatings; The electrochemical resistance of ZP pigments modified epoxy coatings is about 30% higher of than that of neat epoxy coatings, the corrosion rate of ZP pigments modified epoxy coatings is about 70% lower of than that of neat epoxy coatings, moreover the gloss retention is 20% higher in the modified epoxy; Optical surface observation of the coatings showed that the ZP modified epoxy coating could effectively restrict the crack and shrinkage in coatings after aging experimentation in the natural environment.

Findings: The implementation of a heat transfer operation may be improved by increasing suction settings. Unsteadiness, nanoparticle volume fraction, magnetic, curvature, and Eckert number (implies the operating Joule heating and viscous dissipation) all influence heat transfer rate. The velocity and temperature profiles both increase as the unsteadiness, magnetic field, and nanoparticle volume fraction parameters increase, whereas the curvature and suction parameters show the opposite behavior.
