Abstract Interleukin-17 (IL-17) is a cytokine produced by the Th17 cells. It is involved in chronic inflammation in patients with autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis, and psoriasis. The antibodies targeting IL-17 and/or IL-17R are therapy tools for these diseases. Netakimab is an IL-17A-specific antibody containing a

Abstract The object of the research is a group of geographically contiguous low volume gold deposits. The subject of the study is an economic justification for a way to involve economic turnover to get a positive commercial result on a specially formed group of gold deposits, in which individual field development is unprofitable. A small production volume, combined with high capital and operating costs are objective reasons for the reduction in investment attractiveness of the deposits which have reserves of gold of <25 tons in the “supply and demand” chain. The economic result will be fundamentally different if the production capacity of the company is increased by combining geographically contiguous low volume deposits in the group where the total reserves of the mountain holding are represented as one deposit. A criteria was developed and it was determined that the economic and technological constraints for the deposit to enter the group would be outpacing growth of the recoverable value of reserves as compared with a decline in their gold content. Deposits of the group are rationally developed on a rotational basis with a seasonal operating mode of small mining enterprises (with an annual underground mining of 5000–50000 tons up to 100,000 tons, with private ownership >50%), equipped with a mobile processing complex with deep processing technology on highly liquid commodity products on site. An economic-mathematical model was devised to determine the rational placement of the processing capacity of the group.A simulation was conducted and an economic evaluation was performed on the effectiveness of investments in individual and group mining projects. The simulation results show that the joint exploitation of the reserves of the group of deposits, the internal rate of return on investments exceed the rate of return of funds to the bank deposit, the return on investment is above the level of inflation. The group project complies with the strategic line of small mining companies in terms of cost recovery terms, ...

Abstract We studied a biomaterial for a new domestic product, a biological envelope for implantation of cardiac electronic devices. The product is designed to prevent complications after pacemaker implantation and to facilitate the reimplantation procedure. By chemical and biological processing of raw materials (submucosa of porcine small intestine), an acellular extracellular collagen matrix was obtained. The biocompatibility of the material was tested in vitro using stem cell cultures. The biomaterial for fabrication of the envelope is not cytotoxic, biocompatible, and represents a suitable substrate for attachment, growth, and reproduction of stem cells. The biological effect of the material was studied in vivo on the model of heterotopic implantation in small laboratory animals. The biomaterial did not induce inflammation and tissue reaction and was completely transformed into healthy vascularized tissue without scars in 90 days after implantation.

Abstract The method of independent components within the range of 3-13 Hz was used for the analysis of EEG of the children with psychic abnormalities of perinatal origin. The research was undertaken while children were keeping awake with open eyes. In cases of harder developmental delay it was revealed a significant rise of θ-range power spectrum in frontal-temporal cortex areas of left hemisphere and temporal areas of right hemisphere. This fact make it possible to regard these areas as hypothetic sources of slow activity and a damage/immaturity marker of frontal-thalamic area and the temporal areas, responsible for auditory analysis and verbal synthesis, audio & visual data integration.

Abstract Background: Cultural neuroscience is an emerging research field concerned with studying the influences of different cultures on brain anatomy and function. In this study, it was examined whether different cultural or genetic influences might influence the resting state electroencephalogram (EEG) in young children (mean age 10 years) from Switzerland and Saudi Arabia. Methods: Resting state EEG recordings were obtained from relatively large groups of healthy children (95 healthy Swiss children and 102 Saudi Arabian children). These EEG data were analyzed using group independent components analyses (gICA) and conventional analyses of spectral data, together with estimations of the underlying intracortical sources, using LORETA software. Results: Many similarities were identified, but also some substantial differences with respect to the resting state EEG data. For Swiss children, stronger delta band power values in mesial frontal areas and stronger power values in three out of four frequency bands in occipital areas were found. For Saudi Arabian children, stronger alpha band power over the sensorimotor cortex were uncovered. The additionally measured theta/beta ratio (TBR) was similar for Swiss and Saudi Arabian children. Conclusions: The different EEG resting state features identified, are discussed in the context of different cultural experiences and possible genetic influences. In addition, the importance of using appropriate EEG databases when comparing resting state EEG features between groups is emphasized.

Abstract This research represents EEG - investigation by children with remote consequences of perinatal CNS pathology. Its described the different EEG types in normal and mental disorders in children. Its showed a early EEG - markers of abnormal ontogenesis in longitudinal study. The data obtained gives to prevent a negative dynamic of mental and speech development (learning disability, motor alalia, autism).

Abstract We investigated the possibility to classify data from patients with different psychiatric disorders on the base of physiological measures of the brain activity. Event-related potentials during the execution of GO/NOGO task were recorded from age matched groups of patients with schizophrenia, major depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Separation of independent components for event-related potentials was performed by applying Independent Component Analysis method. Picked out components were used in the method of discriminant analysis to classify the data according to clinical diagnosis. Discriminant analysis of components for event-related potentials allows classifying the data of patients with a suitable amount of matches with an established diagnosis.
