Abstract Introduction: In the context of the continuous progress of the "Internet+" era and the exceptionally severe outbreak of the Covid-19, online education confronts many challenges and also brings unlimited development opportunities.
Methods: In this paper, taking six universities with sports majors in Chongqing as the research objects, we analyze the current situation and problems of the development and construction of online education resources for sports in colleges and universities by browsing the official websites of colleges and universities, investigating the cooperation between colleges and universities and Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), and conducting a questionnaire survey on students.
Results: The results show that it is necessary to innovate the traditional inefficient classroom teaching model based on the values of adapting to the characteristics of the "Internet+" era and learning advanced teaching rules, thus optimizing teaching effectiveness and fostering students' independent learning, thinking and innovation.
Discussion: We investigated students' online learning habits, their experience of using online education platform and the difficulties they encountered in the process, based on which two issues were raised: learning needs and learning experience.

Abstract Purpose: To investigate the prevalence of rotavirus infection and acute diarrhea after immunization and further assess the quality of nursing care provided by the nurses to such patients.
Methods: A total of 432 children aged 3-36 months with acute diarrhea between February 2019 and March 2022 were enrolled, and rotavirus testing was performed within 24 h using a rotavirus enzyme immunoassay kit. Clinical characteristics were evaluated, and regression analysis was performed.
Results: Eighty vaccinated children (18.5%) were confirmed to have rotavirus infection out of 432 children. The prevalence of rotavirus positivity was the highest at 20-28 months (22 cases, 24.44%) and 11-19 months age group (27 cases, 22.50%). There is a significant association between rotavirus infection and hygiene score (p = 0.009). Based on the association with quality of nursing care, rotavirus infection was association with "appropriate care" (p = 0.001).
Conclusion: Rotavirus infection was strongly associated with poor hygiene score which may be due to the hygienic nature of the mother and her family. Nursing care assessments revealed a huge gap between nurses and the guardians, which reflects the behavior of Chinese nurses. Thus, an intervention is required by the policymakers for implementing effective strategies of quality nursing for the improvement of the pediatric patients with rotavirus gastroenteritis.

Abstract Pseudohypoxic brain swelling (PHBS) is a rare and potentially fatal complication that may occur in patients following uneventful brain surgery. We present a case of PHBS that developed after drilling and drainage of a chronic subdural hematoma. Neuroimaging findings, pathogenic factors, and therapy are also discussed.

Abstract Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder characterized by persistent thoughts with subsequent repetitive behaviors. Interventions that are effective for adult OCD cannot simply be generalized to pediatric OCD, since OCD in children and adolescents usually has a different clinical presentation, etiology and course from adult OCD. Delayed and inadequate treatment is associated with a worse prognosis, making the need for early identification and intervention in pediatric OCD very urgent. In this paper, we reflected on the current constraints that make early interventions for pediatric OCD unpromoted and reviewed the approaches with potential application for early identification and early intervention in pediatric OCD, categorized by three-level prevention stages corresponding to a clinical staging model. Since the etiology of pediatric OCD is still unclear, primary prevention is most lacking, and early interventions for pediatric OCD are currently focused on the secondary prevention stage, which aims to prevent the conversion of obsessive-compulsive symptoms into full-blown OCD; tertiary prevention mostly focuses on the alleviation of mild to moderate OCD, while interventions for co-morbidities are still in their infancy. We closed by considering the important research questions on this topic.

Abstract Objective: This case-control study focused on the establishment and internal validation of a risk nomogram for intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG)-resistant Kawasaki disease (KD) using the Kawasaki Disease Database.
Methods: The Kawasaki Disease Database is the first public database for KD researchers. A prediction nomogram for IVIG-resistant KD was constructed using multivariable logistic regression. Then, the C-index was used to assess the discriminating ability of the proposed prediction model, a calibration plot was drawn to evaluate its calibration, and a decision curve analysis was adopted to assess its clinical usefulness. Bootstrapping validation was performed for interval validation.
Results: The median ages of IVIG-resistant and -sensitive KD groups were 3.3 and 2.9 years, respectively. Predicting factors incorporated into the nomogram were coronary artery lesions, C-reactive protein, percentage of neutrophils, platelets, aspartate aminotransferase, and alanine transaminase. Our constructed nomogram exhibited favorable discriminating ability (C-index: 0.742; 95% confidence interval: 0.673-0.812) and excellent calibration. Moreover, interval validation achieved a high C-index of 0.722.
Conclusions: The as-constructed new IVIG-resistant KD nomogram that incorporated C-reactive protein, coronary artery lesions, platelets, percentage of neutrophils, alanine transaminase, and aspartate aminotransferase may be adopted for predicting the risk of IVIG-resistant KD.

Abstract Background: The effects of childhood adversity on health may persist into the middle and old-aged. The assessment of the long-term effect of adverse childhood experiences (ACE) on adult health depreciation promotes a paradigm shift from current factors in health to early causation shaping health life course trajectories.
Objective: Determine whether the direct and significant dose-response effect between childhood adversity and health depreciation holds true, and to examine whether socioeconomic status (SES) in adulthood can diminish the negative effects of ACE.
Methods: A sample of 6344 nationally representative respondents (48 % were male; M
Results: Compared to respondents without ACE, respondents who experienced 1 ACE increased YLD 15.9 % (p < 0.01); 2 ACEs by 32.8 % (p < 0.01); 3 ACEs by 47.4 % (p < 0.01), and 4+ ACEs by 71.5 % (p < 0.01) higher YLDs. The mediating effect of SES in adulthood was only between 3.9 % and 8.2 %. The interaction effect between ACE and adult socioeconomic status was not significant.
Conclusion: The "long arm" of ACE on health depreciation exhibited a significant dose-response relationship. Policies and measures aimed at reducing family dysfunction and strengthening early childhood health interventions can facilitate the reduction of health depreciation in middle and old age.
