Abstract The previous encryption methods of hospital financial data have the problem of overburden. Therefore, a research study on hybrid encryption of hospital financial data based on Noekeon algorithm is proposed. From the basic principles of the Noekeon algorithm and the application and implementation of the Noekeon algorithm, a hybrid encryption scheme for hospital financial data based on the Noekeon algorithm is designed. In order to improve the security of the encryption system, the RSA algorithm is used to encrypt the encrypted content twice. The hybrid algorithm realizes the hybrid encryption of the hospital's financial data. Finally, a hybrid encryption system for hospital financial data based on Noekeon algorithm is designed. Experimental results show that this method has a higher success rate and better comprehensive performance. It not only improves the encryption efficiency of hospital financial data but also enhances the security of hospital financial data, which has greater application value.

Abstract The development of traditional vehicles which consume fossil carbon-based fuels is constrained by environmental pollution and the energy crisis, and it has become a social consensus to develop electric vehicles with new energy resources and low emissions. The drive system of electric vehicles should be able to reliably operate over a long period. When a short-circuit fault occurs in the driving motor, the current in the winding will increase sharply and threaten driving safety. This paper proposed a short-circuit fault-tolerant control strategy for a dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous traction motor (DT-PMSTM) which can resolve the problem of short-circuit faults. The current in non-short-circuit fault windings has been reconstructed to offset the interference of the short-circuit current and output a stable torque. Based on the principle of constant composited magnetic motive force (MMF), the dimension-reduced orthogonal transformation matrix was derived. The compensation currents were designed according to the interference effect of the short-circuit current to the normal MMF of the motor. Consequently, the lost torque component caused by the lack of the short-circuit winding was compensated, and the torque pulsation was also reduced. The performance of the topologies with neutral point-isolated mode and neutral point-connected mode were both investigated and compared. The validity of the proposed short-circuit fault-tolerant control strategy was proved by the simulation results.

Abstract As an important cause of global warming, CO 2 emissions have become a research hotspot in recent years. Industrial transfer impacts regional CO 2 emissions and is related to the low-carbon development of regional industries. Taking the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region (BTH region) as an example, this study analysed industrial transfer’s direct and indirect impacts on CO 2 emissions based on a mediating model and two-way fixed effect panel regression. The results obtained indicate that industrial transfer-in has promoted CO 2 emissions to a small extent, and the positive impact of industrial transfer-in on CO 2 emissions wanes over time. Industrial transfer affects CO 2 emissions by acting on the economic level, on population size, and on urbanisation level, but the indirect effect is weaker than the direct effect. Industrial transfer does not lead to technological upgrading, but the latter is an effective means of carbon emission reduction. Industrial transfer-in has shown a positive effect on CO 2 emissions for most cities, but there are exceptions, such as Cangzhou. In the future, the BTH region should maintain coordinated development among cities and improve the cooperative innovation mechanism for energy conservation and emission reduction.

Abstract Landscape elements have become an important means to improve the quality of life of residents because of their direct influence on the thermal environment, but the selection and configuration of landscape elements have different effects on human thermal comfort in different climate conditions. In this research, the typical residential area of Lhasa in Tibet was taken as the research object, the experimental scheme was prepared using an orthogonal test, and the simulation was carried out using ENVI-met to explore the influences of the green configuration, water area, and ground reflectance, as well as their interaction with the thermal environment in winter and summer under alpine climate conditions. Taking the physiological equivalent temperature (PET) as the optimization index, the optimal design scheme for the synergistic effect of the residential landscape elements was determined. The results were as follows. (1) The order of the landscape configuration factors was as follows: green configuration > water area > leaf area index > ground reflectance in summer. In winter, the order was green configuration > water area > ground reflectance > leaf area index (LAI). (2) With the combined driving of the orthogonal test and the numerical simulation, the optimal scheme of the landscape elements was determined, which was “tree shrub lawn, water area ratio 16%, ground reflectance 0.5, and LAI = 3 m 2 /m 3 ”. (3) Finally, the optimal design strategy of the landscape configuration was proposed for the typical outdoor active space of the Lhasa residential area.

Abstract The assessment of regional economic security (RES) is mainly based on the theoretical ideas of political economy and marginalism, and the research areas are mainly concentrated in European and American countries/regions, especially Eastern Europe. Taking the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau in China as an example, this paper constructs a triple-dimensional analytical framework, resources, and environmental–economic foundation-driving forces, based on the institutional approach of economic geography, with the purpose of making up for the deficiency of the extant literature, which pays little attention to regional characteristics and the dynamic mechanism concerning RES, and to provide a tool to identify key factors affecting RES. This paper obtained the main conclusions as follows. (1) The index of the economic security in the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau is on the rise, and the difference at the level of RES among cities is significant but tends to decrease. (2) There is a significant spatial autocorrelation among cities in the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau in terms of RES. The high-value areas are concentrated along the southeast edge, and the low-value areas are concentrated in the central areas of the west. (3) Despite lower weight values, the weakness of the economic foundation and the fragility of the ecological environment has increasingly hampered the improvement of the economic security in the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau. In terms of driving forces, it is the support of the central government and aid programs of other provinces that contributes to its economic development.

Abstract The corpus callosum, historically considered primarily for homotopic connections, supports many heterotopic connections, indicating complex interhemispheric connectivity. Understanding this complexity is crucial yet challenging due to diverse cell-specific wiring patterns. Here, we utilized public AAV bulk tracing and single-neuron tracing data to delineate the anatomical connection patterns of mouse brains and conducted wide-field calcium imaging to assess functional connectivity across various brain states in male mice. The single-neuron data uncovered complex and dense interconnected patterns, particularly for interhemispheric-heterotopic connections. We proposed a metric "heterogeneity" to quantify the complexity of the connection patterns. Computational modeling of these patterns suggested that the heterogeneity of upstream projections impacted downstream homotopic functional connectivity. Furthermore, higher heterogeneity observed in interhemispheric-heterotopic projections would cause lower strength but higher stability in functional connectivity than their intrahemispheric counterparts. These findings were corroborated by our wide-field functional imaging data, underscoring the important role of heterotopic-projection heterogeneity in interhemispheric communication.

Abstract BackgroundChronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a complex disease of unknown etiology and mechanism. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Prolong Life with Nine Turn Method (PLWNT) Qigong exercise on CFS focusing on fatigue, sleep quality, depression, and anxiety.MethodsA total of 90 participants diagnosed with CFS were randomly assigned into two parallel groups: PLWNT and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The participants in the PLWNT or CBT group participated in qigong exercise or cognitive behavior education program, respectively, once a week in-person and were supervised online during the remaining 6 days at home, over 12 consecutive weeks. The primary outcome was fatigue (Multi-dimensional Fatigue Inventory 20 [MFI-20]), and secondary outcomes were sleep quality (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index [PSQI]), anxiety, depression (Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale [HADS]), and changes in the Neuropeptide Y (NPY) of peripheral blood.ResultsThe within-group comparisons of the PLWNT and CBT groups revealed significant improvement in both groups in MFI-20, PSQI, and HADS scores (P < 0.05). No significant difference were found between the PLWNT and CBT groups, even though the effective rate of the PLWNT group was 62.22%, which is slightly than 50.00% of the CBT group. The fatigue scores in the PLWNT group were positively correlated with sleep degree (r = 0.315) and anxiety degree (r = 0.333), only anxiety degree (r = 0.332) was found to be positively correlated with fatigue in the CBT group. The analysis of peripheral blood showed that NPY decreased after PLWNT intervention but increased significantly in the CBT.ConclusionThe PLWNT qigong exercise has potential to be an effective rehabilitation method for CFS symptoms including fatigue, sleep disturbance, anxiety, and depression. Future studies should expand study sample size for in-depth investigation to determine the optimal frequency and intensity of PLWNT qigong intervention in CFS patients. The study was registered in the ...

Abstract Peanut oil body (POB), which is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and bioactive substances, is widely used in cosmetics, food, and medicine. Compared with synthetic emulsifiers, peanut oil bodies have health advantages as natural emulsions. The physicochemical properties of oil bodies affect their food processing applications. To improve peanut oil body yield, cell-wall-breaking enzymes were screened for aqueous enzymatic extraction. The optimum conditions were as follows: enzymatic hydrolysis time, 2 h; material-to-liquid ratio, 1 : 5 (m/v); enzyme concentration, 2% (v/m); and temperature, 50°C. Oil body stability was closely related to pH. With increasing pH, the average particle size and zeta-potential of the oil bodies increased, indicating aggregation, as confirmed by microstructure analysis. At pH 11, exogenous proteins at the oil body interface were eluted, leaving endogenous proteins, which led to a decreased interfacial protein content and oil body aggregation. Therefore, oil body stability decreased under alkaline pH conditions, but no demulsification occurred.

Abstract The radial artery reflects the largest amount of physiological and pathological information about the human body. However, ultrasound signal processing involves a large number of complex functions, and traditional digital signal processing can hardly meet the requirements of real-time processing of ultrasound data. The research aims to improve computational accuracy and reduce the hardware complexity of ultrasound signal processing systems. Firstly, this paper proposes to apply the coordinate rotation digital computer (CORDIC) algorithm to the whole radial artery ultrasound signal processing, combines the signal processing characteristics of each sub-module, and designs the dynamic filtering module based on the radix-4 CORDIC algorithm, the quadrature demodulation module based on the partitioned-hybrid CORDIC algorithm, and the dynamic range transformation module based on the improved scale-free CORDIC algorithm. A digital radial artery ultrasound imaging system was then built to verify the accuracy of the three sub-modules. The simulation results show that the use of the high-performance CORDIC algorithm can improve the accuracy of data processing. This provides a new idea for the real-time processing of ultrasound signals. Finally, radial artery ultrasound data were collected from 20 volunteers using different probe scanning modes at three reference positions. The vessel diameter measurements were averaged to verify the reliability of the CORDIC algorithm for radial artery ultrasound imaging, which has practical application value for computer-aided clinical diagnosis.

Abstract BackgroundChronic insomnia (CI) is a mind-body disease that is commonly defined as a state of having disturbed daytime activities due to poor nighttime sleep quality. Baduanjin qigong (BDJQG) is widely used for CI in China. However, there is little scientific evidence to evaluate its effects on the hyperarousal state, which is closely associated with improved sleep quality. ObjectiveThe objective of the trial is to assess the therapeutic effects of BDJQG on sleep quality in patients with CI. MethodsA randomized controlled trial will be conducted on 86 patients, who will be divided into a BDJQG group and a cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia group at a ratio of 1:1. Interventions in both groups will be given to the participants 7 times a week for 8 weeks, and the participants will be followed up for 4 weeks. The primary outcome is the change in the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index from baseline to week 8. The secondary outcomes are the changes in the Hyperarousal Scale, Insomnia Severity Index, Fatigue Scale-14, wrist actigraphy, salivary cortisol level, and functional magnetic resonance imaging from baseline to week 8. All main analyses will be carried out on the basis of the intention-to-treat principle. ResultsThis study was funded from January 2023. As of the submission of the manuscript, there were 86 participants. Data collection began in April 2023 and will end in January 2024. Data analysis is expected to begin in January 2024, with the publication of results expected in February 2024. ConclusionsThis study will present data concerning the clinical effects of BDJQG on CI. The results will help to demonstrate whether BDJQG is an effective therapy for improving sleep quality in association with a decreased hyperarousal level as a possible underlying mechanism. This study will provide much-needed knowledge for complementary and alternative therapy for patients with CI.
