    Abstract Objective: To verify the relationships established between individual and environmental factors in the motor competence of children aged 06 to 10 years. Method: This is a quantitative study supported by descriptive and inferential statistics. The following collection instruments were used: Bruininks-Oseretsky Motor Proficiency Test and Home Observation for Measurement of the Environment - Middle Childhood. Results: The analyses indicated the influence of environmental constructs on the development and maintenance of children's motor competence, elucidating the fact that the appropriate home environment is a protective factor for the development of this competence. Children residing in adequate homes were 66% more likely to have motor competence on average. Another fact highlighted was due to the disparity in the level of motor competence between the sexes, with emphasis on the fact that girls aged 9-10 years who live in households classified as unsuitable, located in the central region of the city, studying in public schools presented motor competence values below the expected for their age. Conclusion: The sociodemographic profile of children who presented the best chances for higher motor proficiency included boys aged 6-7 years old, living in households classified as adequate, located in neighborhoods outside the central region, and studying in private schools.

    Abstract Este texto tem como tem como objetivo apresentar reflexões sobre bullying com hemofílicos nas escolas, assim como problematizar diálogos possíveis a partir dos princípios da Educação Social e Educação Social em Saúde. Para isso a produção acadêmica brasileira sobre as temáticas Bullying, Hemofilia, Escola, Educação Social e Educação Social em Saúde foi utilizada. A busca foi realizada em dois bancos de dados da web: a Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD), e na Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SCIELO). Evidenciaram-se que os princípios da Educação Social e Educação Social em Saúde oportunizam uma condição de visibilidade a público que durante muito tempo esteve à margem do quadro social.

    Abstract Este estudo teve como objetivo problematizar a hemofilia no contexto das aulas de Educação Física Escolar, de forma que sejam situadas possíveis intervenções e práticas pedagógicas. A hemofilia é uma doença genética e hereditária que acarreta na difícil coagulação do sangue. O âmbito escolar, na estruturação atual, tem buscado atender a uma diversidade discente. Neste lócus, ações de integralidade são problematizadas. Os hemofílicos, em decorrência de suas condições genéticas, enfrentam diariamente inúmeras dificuldades, seja na adesão aos tratamentos, as estigmatizações atribuídas pelo olhar do outro e a exclusão propriamente dita no âmbito social e escolar, sobretudo, nas aulas de educação física. Para isso, a produção acadêmica brasileira sobre as temáticas Hemofilia, Educação Física, Intervenções e Práticas Pedagógicas foi utilizada. A busca dessa literatura foi realizada em bancos de três dados da web: a Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD), na Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SCIELO) e Google acadêmico. Conclui-se que a adoção de estratégias didáticos metodológicas nas aulas de educação física escolar, possibilita a participação dos alunos hemofílicos, sem que haja quaisquer processos de exclusão, tornando-os assim, também protagonistas dos processos de ensino e de aprendizagem.

    Abstract This study aimed to (1) create percentile curves and norms for the eight subtests of the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, 2nd edition (BOT-2) for 6- to 10-year-old Brazilian children and to (2) compare them to the values of the original test manual. To that, we tested a sample of 931 Brazilian children (477 girls, 454 boys) with ages between 6 to 10 with the BOT-2 assessment. The LMS method was used to generate the percentile curves and normative values, with the LMSchartmaker Pro software version 2.54. Results demonstrate that girls had significantly higher scores for the fine motor precision, fine motor integration, manual dexterity and balance subtests, while boys had significantly higher scores on upper-limb coordination, running speed and agility, and the strength subtests. The findings also indicated higher values for the Brazilian group in the subtests of bilateral coordination, running speed and agility, balance, and upper-limb coordination when compared to the North American normative sample. The percentile curves illustrate the increase in motor proficiency levels as age increases, with different trajectories for each subtest. Future studies should continue the investigation of cultural norms and appropriate assessments for the Brazilian population. Here, the creation of percentile curves and norms that are better suited for the Brazilian population can significantly help with assessment and intervention for motor development in distinct settings and with typical and atypical school-age children.

    Abstract A pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar as relações entre a competência motora percebida e o nível socioeconômico de estudantes do Ensino Médio de um Colégio Estadual de Maringá-PR. A amostra foi constituída por 41 adolescentes, sendo 22 do sexo masculino e 19 do sexo feminino. A pesquisa quantitativa, com caráter descritivo, teve como instrumento o Questionário para Avaliação da Competência Motora de Adolescente e o protocolo Critério de Classificação Econômica Brasil (CCEB) da Associação Brasileira de Empresas de Pesquisa (ABEP). Os dados foram analisados por meio de estatística descritiva e inferencial com auxílio do software SPSS 22.0. Os resultados indicaram que 51,2% dos estudantes se enquadram em níveis de baixa percepção de competência motora; não existe relação entre nível de competência motora percebida e o sexo; evidenciou-se a relação entre competência motora percebida e nível socioeconômico, indicando que, quanto maior o nível sócio econômico melhor à competência motora percebida. Frente aos achados, conclui-se que, nesta realidade, houve relação entre à competência motora percebida e o nível sócio econômico em estudantes do ensino médio.

    Abstract Este estudo investigou o impacto da qualidade do relacionamento treinador-atleta (RTA) na percepção da eficácia coletiva (EC) de jovens atletas de voleibol. Foram sujeitos 185 atletas das equipes masculinas e femininas participantes do Campeonato Paranaense Sub-18 2014. Como instrumentos, foram utilizados o Questionário de Relacionamento Treinador-Atleta/Versão Atleta e o Questionário de Eficácia Coletiva para o Esporte. Na análise dos dados, utilizaram-se o teste “U” de Mann-Whitney, a correlação de Spearman e a Regressão (p<0,05). Os resultados evidenciaram que os atletas medalhistas apresentaram maior nível em todas as dimensões de EC (Habilidade, Esforço, Persistência, União e Preparação) e se perceberam mais próximos e comprometidos com o treinador em comparação aos atletas não medalhistas (p<0,05). O RTA apresentou impacto significativo e moderado na percepção de EC tanto dos atletas medalhistas quanto dos não medalhistas (p<0,05). Concluiu-se que o RTA pode ser considerado uma condição importante da percepção de EC para atletas juvenis de voleibol independente do nível de desempenho das equipes.

    Abstract ABSTRACT Introduction: The DCDQ is a parental report designed to assess daily living activities of children, and serves as a useful questionnaire to aid in the diagnostic criteria of Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD). It is divided into three components: control during movement, fine motor/handwriting, and general coordination. The results categorize children in two groups: “Indication of DCD/suspect DCD”, and “probably not DCD”. Objective: The objective of this study was to determine appropriate cut-off scores for the Developmental Coordination Disorder Questionnaire - Brazil (DCDQ-BR) for use with Brazilian children employing a large sample. Methods: Seven hundred and seven children ages 6-10 were assessed with the DCDQ-BR and the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency (BOT-2). Descriptive statistics was used to characterize the sample, and concurrent validity was assessed using Pearson's Correlation Coefficient. Predictive validity was determined through values of sensitivity (S) and specificity (E), while ROC curves were used to determine the optimal cut-off score for the DCDQ-BR. Results: Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis revealed a significant correlation between total scores of the DCDQ-BR and BOT-2 (r= 0.55 (p=0.00). Cut-off scores for the DCDQ-BR based on the BOT-2 17th percentile (relating to below average descriptive category) were established as ≤40, ≤46 and ≤51 for ages 6-7 years and 11 months; 8-9 years and 11 months; and 10-10 years and 11 months, respectively. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study and previous literature suggesting the need for a reevaluation of cut-off scores for the Brazilian population with a larger sample, we recommend that the cut-off scores of the DCDQ-BR are adjusted to the values found with our sample.
