Abstract It is of importance to analyze land use function change and driving factors of the production-living-ecological space of national territory to realize the coordinated development. Based on land use remote sensing data in 1980, 1990, 2000, 2010, and 2020, we used the methods of land use dynamics, transfer matrix, center of gravity shift and geographic detector to analyze the pattern of production-living-ecological space in Fenhe River Basin and explore the influencing factors. The results showed that the area proportion of production-living-ecological space in the basin was ecological space > production space > living space from 1980 to 2020. The ecological space and agricultural production land showed a decreasing trend, with a decrease of 72441.19 and 105882.96 hm

Abstract Our objective is to report a new breast phantom that provides the objective assessment for three types of clinical mammography, i.e. digital mammography (DM), contrast-enhanced digital mammography (CEDM), and digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT). The tissue-equivalent materials are used to represent the corresponding tissue, and the layer-by-layer structure with separate regions is designed for image quality assessment of different mammography modes. For DM imaging, substitutes for microcalcifications and fibroglandular tissue of different sizes are used to simulate the conventional breast. For CEDM imaging, the tumor module that can be injected with imaging contrast agents is adopted to distinguish normal tissue and diseased tissue in the dense breast. For DBT imaging, the overlapping breast mass module with multiple layers is designed to perform the layer-by-layer imaging of overlapping tissue. In addition, the quantitative assessment module of image quality is designed based on contrast-to-noise ratio, modulation transfer function and artifact spread function. This phantom allows image quality to be evaluated objectively for three different types of the clinical mammography, while it provides an effective tool for optimizing the dose-image quality relationship of patients.

Abstract Background: Portal vein tumor thrombus is an important indicator of poor prognosis in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma. Transarterial chemoembolization is recommended as the standard first-line therapy for unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma. Portal vein stent placement is a safe and effective therapy for promptly restoring flow and relieving portal hypertension caused by tumor thrombus.
Aim: To assess the clinical significance of transarterial chemoembolization plus stent placement for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma with main portal vein tumor thrombosis.
Methods: We searched English and Chinese databases, assessed the quality of the included studies, analyzed the characteristic data, tested heterogeneity, explored heterogeneity, and tested publication bias.
Results: In total, eight clinical controlled trials were included. The results showed that the pressure in the main portal vein after stent placement was significantly lower than that with no stent placement. The cumulative stent patency and survival rates at 6 and 12 months were lower in the transarterial chemoembolization + stent placement group than in the transarterial chemoembolization + stent placement + brachytherapy/radiotherapy group. The survival rates of patients treated with transarterial chemoembolization + stent placement for 6 and 12 months were higher than those of patients treated with transarterial chemoembolization alone.
Conclusion: For Chinese patients with hepatocellular carcinoma with main portal vein tumor thrombosis, transarterial chemoembolization plus stenting is effective. Transarterial chemoembolization + stent placement is more effective than transarterial chemoembolization alone. Transarterial chemoembolization + stent placement + brachytherapy/radiotherapy is more effective than transarterial chemoembolization + stenting.

Abstract Aero engines are the key power source for aerospace vehicles. Cermet turbine blades are the guarantee for the new-generation fighters to improve aero-engine overall performance. X-ray non-destructive reconstruction can obtain the internal structure and morphology of cermet turbine blades. However, the beam hardening effect causes artifacts in objects and affects the reconstruction quality, which is an issue that needs to be solved urgently. This study proposes a hardening-correction framework for industrial computed tomography (ICT) images based on iterative linear fitting. First, an iterative binarization was performed to improve the penetration length accuracy of the forward projection. Then, the proposed linear fitting technology combined with the Hermite function model is derived and analyzed to obtain suitable parameters of blade data. Finally, the fitting curves of the blade data, using the proposed method and the traditional polynomial fitting method, were analyzed and compared and were used to correct the engine turbine blade projection data to reconstruct different groups of tomographic images. Different groups of tomographic images were analyzed using three quantitative image quality evaluation indicators. The results show that the root-mean-square error (RMSE) of the tomographic image obtained by the proposed framework is 0.0133, which is lower than that of the compared method. The peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) is 37.7050 dB and the feature structural similarity (FSIM) is 0.9881, which are both higher than that of the compared method. The proposed method improves the hardening-artifact-correction capability and can obtain higher-quality images, which provides new ideas for the development of imaging and detection of new-generation aero-engine turbine blades.

Abstract BACKGROUND Non-IgM lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma (LPL) is a rare subtype of LPL, constituting less than 5% of the cases, and is often associated with IgG, IgA, or light chain paraproteins and is rarely a non-secretor. Non-IgM LPL remains poorly studied, and the differential diagnosis from other small B-cell lymphomas with plasmacytic differentiation and plasma cell neoplasm is challenging. CASE REPORT A 67-year-old woman presented with weight loss, persistent anemia, and borderline leukopenia. Serum protein electrophoresis and immunofixation demonstrated a faint IgG and kappa band against a dense polyclonal background. Bone marrow biopsy revealed hypercellular marrow with involvement by abnormal B cells with undetectable surface and cytoplasmic immunoglobulin light chains. Interestingly, these B cells showed no expression of light chains or production of IgG and IgM; however, they showed production of intracytoplasmic IgA. The concomitant neoplastic plasma cells also displayed no definitive light chain expression. Both IgH and IgK gene rearrangements were positive for clonal process. Molecular studies showed positive MYD88 L265P mutation and CXCR4 mutation (c.1013C>G). The overall findings confirmed marrow involvement by non-IgM LPL. The patient received 6 cycles of rituximab and bendamustine treatment, and no residual marrow involvement was found on the follow-up bone marrow biopsy. CONCLUSIONS We report a non-IgM LPL case featuring no light chain production and no heavy chain secretion, which we believe is the first reported case of this kind in the literature.

Abstract Left renal vein stenting is a preferable therapeutic option for patients with nutcracker syndrome (NS). As a potential complication of stent implantation, stent migration from the original placement to the right ventricle is relatively rare but can seriously threaten the patient's life. Endovascular stent retrieval is the most beneficial procedure for coping with this fatal complication. In this report, we aimed to describe an effective but relatively feasible endovascular approach using the combination of a goose neck snare and a large bore sheath for the retrieval of a stent dislodged in the right ventricle.

Abstract Case presentation: The patient is a 49-year-old woman who had never used tobacco with a history of relapsing polychondritis and episcleritis. She sought treatment at our clinic for evaluation of multiple lung masses. She originally received a diagnosis by chest radiography performed to rule out sarcoidosis as the cause of episcleritis showing an abnormal findings. She had no contributory surgical, family, or social history. The autoimmune markers were notable for positive rheumatoid factor (153 IU/mL) and elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate (97 mm/h) and C-reactive protein (65.5 mg/L). Pertinent studies with negative results included antineutrophilic cytoplasmic antibody, antinuclear antibody, cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody, Sjogren syndrome-related antigen A, and Sjogren syndrome-related antigen B tests.
