Abstract Covering: 2010 to 2021Natural nematicidal metabolites are important sources of nematode control. This review covers the isolation and structural determination of nematicidal metabolites from 2010 to 2021. We summarise chemical structures, bioactivity, metabolic regulation and biosynthesis of potential nematocides, and structure-activity relationship and application potentiality of natural metabolites in plant parasitic nematodes' biocontrol. In doing so, we aim to provide a comprehensive overview of the potential roles that natural metabolites can play in anti-nematode strategies.

Abstract To clarify the spatial distribution and pollution characteristics of nutrients in the surface sediments of Chengxi Lake and Chengdong Lake in Huoqiu County, total nitrogen (TN), total phosphorus (TP), and organic matter (OM) in 30 surface sediment samples of Chengxi Lake and Chengdong Lake were determined, and their pollution levels and sources were analyzed. The results showed that the contents of total nitrogen (TN), total phosphorus (TP), and organic matter (OM) in Chengxi Lake were significantly higher than those in Chengdong Lake, and their average contents were 746.23 mg·kg

Abstract Owing to well-defined structure as well as easy synthesis and modification, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have emerged as promising catalysts for tandem reactions. In this article, we aim to summarize the development of multifunctional MOFs, including mixed metal MOFs, MOFs that are synergistically catalyzed by metal nodes and organic linkers, MOFs loaded with metal nanoparticles, etc, as heterogenous catalysts for tandem reactions over the past five years. This concept briefly discusses on present challenges, future trends, and prospects of multifunctional MOFs catalysts in tandem reactions.

Abstract Objective To investigate the values of enhancing tumor volume (V), total volume (Vn) and relative non-enhancing tumor ratio (rNTR) before second-line treatment on overall survival (OS) and post-recurrence survival (PRS) in recurrent glioblastoma (rGBM). Methods Clinical data of 85 patients with confirmed rGBM admitted in our medical center from July 2012 to December 2022 were collected and retrospectively analyzed. Quantitative measurements of V, Vn (including tumor enhancement, necrotic and cystic volume) and rNTR (FLAIR high signal volume/enhancing tumor volume) were performed with T1-weighted imaging (T1WI) subtraction mode. Kaplan-Meier survival curve and log-rank test were used to analyze the differences of prognosis between high and low level groups of above indicators. Cox proportional risk regression model was employed for univariate and multivariate prognostic analyses. Results The median PRS was 238 d (95%CI: 197.472~278.528) and the median OS was 449 d (95%CI: 348.755~549.245) in these patients. Kaplan-Meier curve and log-rank test showed significant differences in PRS and OS between high and low levels groups of V, Vn and rNTR (P < 0.05). Univariate analysis showed that V, Vn and rNTR were all influencing factors for PRS and OS (P < 0.05). Multivariate analysis indicated that V and Vn were independent risk factors for PRS (HR=1.019, P < 0.001), and Vn was an independent risk factor for OS (HR=1.008, P=0.042). The Vn-PRS model had the lowest -2 log likelihood (-2LL) among all the models. Conclusion Voxel subtraction technique can accurately assess the size of recurrent tumors in rGBM patients. V, Vn and rNTR can be used for prognosis, and Vn is the most valuable predictor for PRS, which can provide a reliable reference for clinical evaluation of the extent of lesions and survival time of patients.

Abstract In order to study the application of grouting behind the lining wall in the treatment of leakage of subway tunnel during the operation period, the diffusion effect of grouting behind the wall in dense fill and loose fill was studied by the method of numerical simulation and model test, and the distribution of grouting vein in the process of grouting was analyzed. The results show that the results of numerical simulation and model test are basically the same, mainly as follows: In the dense soil, although the slurry will also expand along the tunnel lining wall, it is mainly jacking in the direction perpendicular to the lining structure, and it is unable to form a large area of enclosed solid behind the lining structure; In the loose soil, with the increase of grouting pressure, the slurry gradually approaches the wall After approaching the wall, it will expand along the wall, and, at the end of grouting, the slurry will be evenly distributed along the back of the tunnel lining structure and form an obvious closed reinforcement. It is concluded that: for the tunnel structure in loose soil, when the measures of grouting behind the wall are adopted to treat the leakage water, the spacing of grouting holes can be appropriately enlarged; for the tunnel in dense soil, the spacing between grouting holes should not be too large. More importantly, the correct grouting scheme design must be considered from the whole reinforced soil, rather than from the effect of a certain point. According to the specific situation and the expansion process of the slurry, the expansion direction of the slurry vein should be considered scientifically, so as to achieve good treatment effect of leakage water.

Abstract Objective Schmid type metaphyseal chondrodysplasia (SMCD) is an autosomal dominant chondrodysplasia characterized by abnormal gait and skeletal deformity of limbs. In the study, we analyzed the phenotype and genotype of SMCD in a family who were admitted the Second Affiliated Hospital of our university in January 2021, and then discussed its prevention and treatment based on literature review. Methods We collected the clinical data of the patient and his family members. Then whole exome sequencing and sanger sequencing were used to identify the gene mutation. Bioinformatics analysis was performed in combination with American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG) guidelines to evaluate the pathogenicity of the variants. Results We discovered a novel heterozygous missense mutation c.1843T>G (p.Tyr615Asp) in COL10A1 gene, which was highly conserved among different species. This mutation might affect the trimerization of type X collagen (α1) protein and its binding to extracellular matrix molecules, and then cause the disease. Conclusion We identify a novel COL10A1 mutation, which not only enriches the mutation spectrum of SMCD in Chinese population, but also provides theoretical basis for its prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

Abstract Graphene is a type of two-dimensional material with special properties and complex mechanical behavior. In the process of growth or processing, graphene inevitably has various defects, which greatly influence the mechanical properties of graphene. In this paper, the mechanical properties of ideal monolayer graphene nanoribbons and monolayer graphene nanoribbons with vacancy defects were simulated using the molecular dynamics method. The effect of different defect concentrations and defect positions on the vibration frequency of nanoribbons was investigated, respectively. The results show that the vacancy defect decreases the vibration frequency of the graphene nanoribbon. The vacancy concentration and vacancy position have a certain effect on the vibration frequency of graphene nanoribbons. The vibration frequency not only decreases significantly with the increase of nanoribbon length but also with the increase of vacancy concentration. As the vacancy concentration is constant, the vacancy position has a certain effect on the vibration frequency of graphene nanoribbons. For nanoribbons with similar dispersed vacancy, the trend of vibration frequency variation is similar.

Abstract In the knowledge economy, the process of knowledge sharing and creation for value co-creation frequently emerge in a multi-agent and multi-level system. It's important to consider the roles, functions, and possible interactive knowledge-based activities of key actors for ecological development. Makerspace as an initial stage of incubated platform plays the central and crucial roles of resource orchestrators and platform supporter. Less literature analyses the knowledge ecosystem embedded by makerspaces and considers the interactive process of civil society and natural environment. This study constructs a multi-agent and multi-level knowledge ecosystem from macro, meso, and micro perspective based on Quintuple Helix theory and designs four evolutionary stages of knowledge orchestrating processes. This study finds that the symbiosis, co-evolution, interaction, and orchestration of multiple agents in the knowledge ecosystem should be merged with each other for value co-creation, which helps to take a systematic approach for policymakers, managers, and researchers.
