Abstract Following the global COVID-19 outbreak, blended learning (BL) has received increasing attention from educators. The purpose of this study was: (a) to develop a measurement to evaluate the effectiveness of blended learning for undergraduates; and (b) to explore the potential association between effectiveness with blended learning and student learning outcomes. This research consisted of two stages. In Stage I, a measurement for evaluating undergraduates' blended learning perceptions was developed. In Stage II, a non-experimental, correlational design was utilized to examine whether or not there is an association between blended learning effectiveness and student learning outcomes. SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 23.0 were utilized to implement factor analysis and structured equation modeling. The results of the study demonstrated: (1) The hypothesized factors (course overview, course objectives, assessments, 1148 class activities, course resources, and technology support) were aligned as a unified system in blended learning. (2) There was a positive relationship between the effectiveness of blended learning and student learning outcomes. Additional findings, explanations, and suggestions for future research were also discussed in the study.

Abstract First-year teachers need help because they are confronted with various challenges and are more likely to leave the profession within a few years. Studies have demonstrated the efficacy of evidence-based teacher induction programs (TIPs) in enhancing the performance of new teachers and promoting positive student outcomes. However, there has been opposition to this assertion, with some suggesting alternative explanations for the observed effects. This study applied Horn et al's high-quality TIP model as the theoretical framework and employed a non-experimental, correlational design to address the research questions by collecting data from 408 first-year primary school teachers in Shanghai. Correlations and multiple regressions were examined in the study. The results revealed the following: (1) the perceptions of the helpfulness of TIP were not found to correlate significantly with teacher self-efficacy; (2) there was a limited negative correlation (

Abstract The book addresses the prevalent digital transformation and focuses on its significant disruption in healthcare. In light of the distinctive characteristics and evolution of the Chinese healthcare industry, private multi-sided platform (MSP) companies emerge to offer novel values and explore the industry value chain. Drawing on the management and economics literature of MSPs, this book examines the selected Chinese MSPs and compares them with the counterpart MSPs in the U.S. This analysis highlights how the unfolding healthcare disruption is valuable for both scholars and practitioners to understand the trends and to take effective actions. “Disruptive Innovation through Digital Transformation: Multi-Sided Platforms of E-Health in China” provides readers in the developing and developed countries with insights on how to approach the current multi-sided platform and to resolve the current problems to better serve customers and patients in the healthcare market.

Abstract Deep learning refers to active learning that allows students to perceive, experience, understand, and apply knowledge. Deep learning focuses on the mastery of knowledge and skills and more on the cultivation of higher-order thinking skills such as awareness, problem-solving, and knowledge transfer. In order to improve the quality of English classroom teaching in today's colleges and universities and cultivate high-level applied foreign language talents, this paper constructs a multimodal teaching model based on deep learning theory and discusses how to apply the model to college English teaching practice in order to promote the realization of students' deep learning, improve the effectiveness of English learning, and provide a reference for the teaching reform of college English courses.

Abstract In order to further understand the economic data management system and technology, in-depth research was conducted in the state of people's nervous system feeling. The method of building open platform algorithm to optimize and modify weight rule 2BP grid construction was used to study. According to the basic principle, the BP neural network which is more suitable for economic data management system was constructed. At the same time, to construct economic database resources, neural network system was mainly to simplify and abstract or simulate the human brain nervous system, which is not completely the same, but can also map the basic characteristics of many functions of the human brain. Through the analysis of the economic data of the neural network, the neural network is widely used in the economic data management, which not only improves the management level of enterprises, but also improves the benefits and profits of enterprises. Besides, it has application effect in predicting economic early warning risk analysis cost control strategy management enterprise credit evaluation and enterprise competitiveness evaluation.

Abstract Background: Acute lung injury (ALI) is characterized by abnormal inflammatory response without effective therapies. P2Y12 receptor (P2Y12R) plays a vital role in inflammatory response. This study intends to explore whether P2Y12R antagonists can inhibit LPS-induced inflammatory injury of human pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells (HPMVECs) and endothelial cell dysfunction.
Methods: Using a cell model of ALI, the role of P2Y12R was investigated in LPS-induced HPMVECs. The expression of P2Y12R was detected by RT-qPCR and Western blot analysis assay and TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 levels were analyzed by RT-qPCR. NO levels were also analyzed through NO kit. The levels of NF-κB p65, P-IκB-α, and IκB-α, as well as p-AKT and eNOS levels were detected by Western blot analysis assay. Wound healing assay was performed to evaluate HPMVECs migration. FITC-dextran was used to evaluate endothelial cell permeability, and the analysis of adherens junction protein VE-cadherin and endothelial cell tight junction proteins ZO-1, Claudin 5 and Occludin expression was performed by RT-qPCR and Western blot analysis assay.
Results: In vitro, LPS increased the expression levels of P2Y12R and pro-inflammatory mediators (TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6), followed by a decrease in HPMVECs migration. In addition, LPS led to an increase in endothelial cell permeability. P2Y12R antagonists Ticagrelor or clopidogrel treatment significantly reversed these effects of LPS.
Conclusion: The inhibitor of P2Y12R was able to decrease inflammatory response, promote migration and improve endothelial cell function and permeability, suggesting a key role of P2Y12R in ALI.

Abstract The combination of deep neural networks and reinforcement learning had received more and more attention in recent years, and the attention of reinforcement learning of single agent was slowly getting transferred to multiagent. Regret minimization was a new concept in the theory of gaming. In some game issues that Nash equilibrium was not the optimal solution, the regret minimization had better performance. Herein, we introduce the regret minimization into multiagent reinforcement learning and propose a multiagent regret minimum algorithm. This chapter first introduces the Nash Q-learning algorithm and uses the overall framework of Nash Q-learning to minimize regrets into the multiagent reinforcement learning and then verify the effectiveness of the algorithm in the experiment.
