Abstract Aiming at the problems of lack of background knowledge and the inconsistent response of robots in the current human-computer interaction system, we proposed a human-computer interaction model based on a knowledge graph ripple network. The model simulated the natural human communication process to realize a more natural and intelligent human-computer interaction system. This study had three contributions: first, the affective friendliness of human-computer interaction was obtained by calculating the affective evaluation value and the emotional measurement of human-computer interaction. Then, the external knowledge graph was introduced as the background knowledge of the robot, and the conversation entity was embedded into the ripple network of the knowledge graph to obtain the potential entity content of interest of the participant. Finally, the robot replies based on emotional friendliness and content friendliness. The experimental results showed that, compared with the comparison models, the emotional friendliness and coherence of robots with background knowledge and emotional measurement effectively improve the response accuracy by 5.5% at least during human-computer interaction.

Abstract To effectively assist users in discovering content tailored to their specific interests, this research aims to create an intelligent content recommendation system. The inadequacy of conventional recommendation models, which depend uniquely on historical reading data, becomes evident in their limited capacity to meet contemporary users' diverse and ever-changing preferences within the information. The proposed architecture makes the most of the advancements in deep learning technology. It integrates the self-attention mechanism, allowing for precise calibration of the significance attributed to each feature within the news data. The proposed multilevel data classification network enables a more refined and personalized knowledge of users' preferences and the array of content information attributes while incorporating the users' unique characteristics. The proposed model achieved an accuracy rate of 85.2%, a recall rate of 83.7%, an F1 score of 84.3%, and an Area Under the Curve (AUC) of 84.5%. By developing a multilevel, intelligent, personalized content recommendation network, the research attempts to introduce a solution that effectively provides users' preferences, thereby enriching their experience in discovering relevant information within the modern digital system.

Abstract In-refrigerator water dispensing systems are ubiquitous in residential homes with tap water as the inflow. Passage through these systems resulted in significant microbial growth in the water, with the abundance of potential opportunistic pathogens Mycobacterium and Pseudomonas increasing by 8,053- and 221-fold, respectively. Elevated exposure to microbial contaminants linked to in-refrigerator water dispensing systems may represent a significant public health concern.

Abstract MicroRNAs plays important roles in the progression of diabetic nephropathy (DN) and podocyte injury. This study aimed to investigate the role and regulation mechanism of miR-1187 during the development of DN and podocyte injury. The content of miR-1187 in podocytes was up-regulated under high glucose (HG) treatment and increased in kidney tissue of db/db mice (DN model mice) compared with control db/m mice. The administration of miR-1187 inhibitor could decrease podocyte apoptosis induced by HG and attenuate the decline in renal function and reduce proteinuria as well as glomerular apoptosis in db/db mice. Mechanistically, miR-1187 could inhibit the autophagy level in HG-exposed podocytes and glomerulus of DN mice. Moreover, miR-1187 inhibitor could reduce HG-stimulated podocyte injury and autophagy flux inhibition. The mechanism may depend on autophagy. In conclusion, targeting miR-1187 may be a new therapeutic target for improving the high glucose damage of podocytes and the progression of DN.

Abstract Regarding subject librarian services for clinical studies, researchers outside China have been focusing on subject service performance, evidence-based medicine, and comprehensive consulting services. In contrast, Chinese researchers have concentrated on service systems and methods but have not established mature systems and methods for clinical surgery-oriented services. Therefore, subject librarians in medical schools should become involved in clinical research and expand their perspective on medical library research. In addition, they should collaborate with clinicians to improve the overall level of research in hospitals while increasing the impact of subject librarian services in medical colleges and schools.

Abstract In this era of information explosion, recommendation systems play a key role in helping users to uncover content of interest among massive amounts of information. Pursuing a breadth of recall while maintaining accuracy is a core challenge for current recommendation systems. In this paper, we propose a new recommendation algorithm model, the interactive higher-order dual tower (IHDT), which improves current models by adding interactivity and higher-order feature learning between the dual tower neural networks. A heterogeneous graph is constructed containing different types of nodes, such as users, items, and attributes, extracting richer feature representations through meta-paths. To achieve feature interaction, an interactive learning mechanism is introduced to inject relevant features between the user and project towers. Additionally, this method utilizes graph convolutional networks for higher-order feature learning, pooling the node embeddings of the twin towers to obtain enhanced end-user and item representations. IHDT was evaluated on the MovieLens dataset and outperformed multiple baseline methods. Ablation experiments verified the contribution of interactive learning and high-order GCN components.

Abstract Objectives: The study compared the outcomes between covered-stents grafting (CSG) and ligation of femoral artery (LFA) in the treatment of infected femoral pseudoaneurysm (IFP) caused by intravenous drug injection.
    Methods: From 1
Results: A total of 56 patients were enrolled in the study, comprising 50 (89.3%) men and 6 (10.7%) women, with a mean age of 34.3 years. There was no significant difference observed between the two groups in terms of 30-day mortality (3.2% vs 0%,
Conclusions: Covered-stents grafting may be a preferable treatment to LFA for IFP due to intravenous drug abuse, particularly when the entry tear is located in the common femoral artery.
