Abstract Background: This study explored the mechanistic basis for nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cisplatin (DDP) treatment resistance in an effort to define effective approaches to abrogating the emergence of such chemoresistance.
Methods: Analyses of NSCLC expression of hsa_circ_0000190, miR-1253, and interleukin 6 (IL-6) were conducted via a quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) approach, while the ability of these tumor cells to resist DDP treatment was evaluated with a CCK-8 assay. Interactions between different RNA molecules were assessed using both RNA immunoprecipitation and dual-luciferase reporter assays.
Results: NSCLC cell lines and tissues resistant to DDP were found to express higher levels of hsa_circ_0000190, and knocking down this circRNA in NSCLC cells was associated with greater sensitivity to DDP exposure. Further research identified miR-1253 as a hsa_circ_0000190 target, with the ability of hsa_circ_0000190 knockdown to restore DDP sensitivity being largely attributable to the ability of this circRNA to suppress miR-1253 activity. IL-6 was identified as a major miR-1253 target in this context, with miR-1253 regulating chemoresistance in NSCLC cells in part by preventing IL-6 upregulation.
Conclusion: Together, these data suggest that hsa_circ_0000190 can promote DDP chemoresistance in NSCLC cells through its ability to modulate miR-1253/IL-6 axis activity, highlighting a novel pathway that can be targeted in an effort to guide the more effective diagnosis and management of DDP-resistant tumors.

Abstract Superhydrophobic conductive materials have gained more attention due to their broad applications in oil–water separation, electromagnetic shielding, and wearable heaters. With their inherent softness and breathability, fabrics are an excellent choice for wearable heater substrates. In this work, we decorate MXene(Ti₃C₂Tₓ) and Polypyrrole (PPy) on the surface of the fabric fibers by adopting a simple method of dip-coating and in situ growth. The surface is modified with polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) to obtain a superhydrophobic conductive fabric (MXene@PPy/PDMS fabric). The MXene@PPy/ PDMS fabric retains the original softness and breathability of the fabric and has excellent electrical conductivity, outstanding superhydrophobicity, good chemical stability, and mechanical durability. In addition, it also exhibits excellent electrical and photothermal heating performance. Impressively, arising from the superior Joule heating capacity and photothermal conversion performance, the Mxene@PPy/PDMS fabric also proves excellent dewatering and deicing capacity. As one of the promising applications, the Mxene@PPy/PDMS fabric exhibits the effectiveness and feasibility of hyperthermia, heat retention, and deicing.

Abstract Nowadays, the contemporary ecological environment has a significant impact on human survival and development. Consequently, an in-depth examination of the link between humans and nature has significant practical significance and aspirational appeal. This research analyzes provincial panel data from 2011 to 2019 using an empirical model to determine the relationship between urban land use, the ecological environment, and national physical health inputs in China. The results indicate that (1) urbanization and air pollution do not have an "inverted U-shaped" traditional environmental Kuznets curve relationship, but rather a significant "positive U" relationship; (2) urbanization and environmental management do have an inverted U-shaped classical environmental Kuznets curve relationship; (3) GDP per capita and infrastructure have a negative impact on air quality and environmental quality, and strict environmental rules can improve air quality and green amenities; (4) national physical health investment has a substantial moderating effect on the relationship between urban land use and the ecological environment.
