Abstract A digital twin is a digital representation that closely resembles or replicates a real world object by combining interdisciplinary knowledge and advanced technologies. Digital twins have been applied to various fields, including to the agricultural field. Given big data and systematic data management, digital twins can be used for predicting future outcomes. In this study, we endeavor to create an agricultural digital twin using mandarins as a model crop. We employ an Open API to aggregate data from various sources across Jeju Island, covering an area of approximately 185,000 hectares. The collected data are visualized and analyzed at regional, inter-orchard, and intra-orchard scales. We observe that the intra-orchard analysis explains the variation of fruit quality substantially more than the inter-orchard analysis. Our data visualization and analysis, incorporating statistical models and machine learning algorithms, demonstrate the potential use of agricultural digital twins in the future, particularly in the context of micro-precision and individualized agriculture. This concept extends the current management practices based on data-driven decisions, and it offers a glimpse into the future of individualized agriculture by enabling customized treatment for plants, akin to personalized medicine for humans.

Abstract An 11-year-old spayed female, Persian cat was referred to the Jeonbuk Animal Medical Center for evaluation of a 2-month history of lethargy and anorexia. Physical examination revealed tachycardia and hypotension. Abdominal imaging via sonography and CT identified a right adrenal gland mass causing severe deviation and compression of the caudal vena cava. After stabilising the blood pressure and heart rate through positive inotropes and fluid therapy, right adrenalectomy was performed. Surgery confirmed the adrenal gland mass was severely compressing the caudal vena cava. Histopathological examination revealed that the mass was a pheochromocytoma. After adrenalectomy, blood pressure and heart rate stabilised and remained unaffected 8 months postsurgery. This report describes a rare case of an adrenal pheochromocytoma leading to caudal vena cava compression in a cat presenting with hypotension.

Abstract Varicose veins usually present in the superficial veins of the lower extremities and are one of the main clinical presentations of chronic venous disease (CVD). Patients' symptoms may vary according to the pathophysiology, location, and severity of CVD. The prevalence of CVD in Korea has been increasing gradually. However, due to its broad clinical spectrum and the subjective nature of its diagnosis using ultrasound, discrepancies in diagnostic and treatment quality may exist among treating physicians. There have been recent efforts to improve the quality of the diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins in Korea by standardizing the diagnostic criteria and the indications for treatment. This study is a comprehensive review of the clinical manifestations and diagnostic criteria of CVD based on the most recent international and domestic guidelines and reports.

Abstract Suicide is a global concern for the well-being of families. When parents experience their child's death by suicide, their well-being can be substantially impaired. This study aimed to explore the lived experiences of parents whose children died by suicide. Data were collected from 25 mothers through interviews between 2019 and 2021 and analyzed using interpretive phenomenological analysis. The data revealed five superordinate themes, including (1) who am I; (2) the unrelenting questions; (3) my existence on earth is brutal and cruel; (4) grief; and (5) the meaning. Each superordinate theme includes two to four supporting clusters. Parents' grief associated with a child's suicide is overwhelming and paralyzing but is often a journey to find the meaning or the reason for the death. Parents are traumatized and emotionally vulnerable. Healthcare providers need to support parents who lose their children to death by suicide.

Abstract Denoising diffusion models have shown a powerful capacity for generating high-quality image samples by progressively removing noise. Inspired by this, we present a diffusion-based mesh denoiser that progressively removes noise from mesh. In general, the iterative algorithm of diffusion models attempts to manipulate the overall structure and fine details of target meshes simultaneously. For this reason, it is difficult to apply the diffusion process to a mesh denoising task that removes artifacts while maintaining a structure. To address this, we formulate a structure-preserving diffusion process. Instead of diffusing the mesh vertices to be distributed as zero-centered isotopic Gaussian distribution, we diffuse each vertex into a specific noise distribution, in which the entire structure can be preserved. In addition, we propose a topology-agnostic mesh diffusion model by projecting the vertex into multiple 2-D viewpoints to efficiently learn the diffusion using a deep network. This enables the proposed method to learn the diffusion of arbitrary meshes that have an irregular topology. Finally, the denoised mesh can be obtained via refinement based on 2-D projections obtained from reverse diffusion. Through extensive experiments, we demonstrate that our method outperforms the state-of-the-art mesh denoising methods in both quantitative and qualitative evaluations.

Abstract Background: ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence-based large language model (LLM). ChatGPT has been widely applied in medicine, but its application in occupational therapy has been lacking.
Objective: This study examined the accuracy of ChatGPT on the National Korean Occupational Therapy Licensing Examination (NKOTLE) and investigated its potential for application in the field of occupational therapy.
Methods: ChatGPT 3.5 was used during the five years of the NKOTLE with Korean prompts. Multiple choice questions were entered manually by three dependent encoders, and scored according to the number of correct answers.
Results: During the most recent five years, ChatGPT did not achieve a passing score of 60% accuracy and exhibited interrater agreement of 0.6 or higher.
Conclusion: ChatGPT could not pass the NKOTLE but demonstrated a high level of agreement between raters. Even though the potential of ChatGPT to pass the NKOTLE is currently inadequate, it performed very close to the passing level even with only Korean prompts.
