Abstract Temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis is an ancient and challenging common disease in clinic. The challenge is clarifying the relationship among temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis, temporomandibular joint osteoarthrosis and temporomandibular disorders, understanding mutual influence among all bony structures' pathological lesions in the joint and exploring pathogenesis, making early diagnosis and accurate diagnosis, and giving effective and standard treatment.

Abstract High levels of ammonium in water can compromise the ecological environment and be harmful to human beings. It is of great significance to understand the source and controlling factors of ammonium in waters. However, the distribution and controlling factors on ammonium in the central Yangtze River Basin have been rarely reported. The results showed that 6.58% of the surface water (SW) exceeded the China national guideline of category III for NH

Abstract Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is a very common and easily diagnosed as a malignancy. However, studies have described the difference between TB and lung cancer. Single-organ TB and lung cancer are often easily distinguished clinically. Atypical systemic hematogenous disseminated TB (HDTB) is uncommon, including rare cases involving multiple organs such as cervical lymph nodes, pleura, liver, and lung TB simultaneously, which are more confusing and easily misdiagnosed in clinical practice.
Case presentation: A HIV-negative 56-year-old male was hospitalized for chest disease with main symptoms of chest tightness, chest pain, fatigue, anorexia, and weight loss. Heart rate 109 times/min, the computed tomography (CT) scans of the neck, chest, and abdomen revealed multiple nodules in the right pleura, right pleural encapsulated effusion, and limited, incomplete expansion of the middle and lower lobes of the right lung, enlarged lymph nodes in the right hilar and mediastinal and diaphragm groups, and multiple slightly low-density nodules in the liver, bone destruction in the 2nd thoracic vertebra, raising the possibility of multiple liver metastases of right lung cancer and malignant pleural fluid. The lymph nodes in the neck, mediastinum, abdomen, and pelvis were enlarged bilaterally. After comprehensive analysis, the patient was diagnosed with atypical systemic HDTB. After three months of conventional anti-TB treatment, the patient refused our hospital follow-up, and his symptoms improved significantly during the telephone follow-up.
Conclusion: Most previous TB misdiagnoses involved a single organ, and this case enriches the clinical experience of diagnosing atypical HDTB. We encourage clinicians to establish a dynamic diagnostic and therapeutic mindset, emphasizing the value of biopsy and pathology.

Abstract The health of dental tissue is an important guarantee to obtain good orthodontic effect, and also the basis to achieve beauty, stability and function after orthodontic treatment. The classification of dental diseases is complex and diverse, which has different effects on orthodontic treatment. It is necessary to make clear diagnosis before orthodontic treatment, and take preventive and therapeutic measures according to the etiology and clinical symptoms, so as to achieve the goal of health treatment. Orthodontic treatment might cause a variety of changes in the teeth and pulp tissue. Such changes have certain rules and are complex and variable. Orthodontist should master relevant knowledge to minimize the side effects of orthodontic treatment.

Abstract Objective: It is increasingly recognized that those of lower socioeconomic status (SES) are disproportionately affected by cancer mortality. The association between cervical cancer mortality and SES have been reported; however, it remains poorly understood in the Canadian population. Thus, this study investigates trends in income and education inequalities in cervical cancer mortality in Canada over the last three decades.
    Study design: Trend analysis.
Methods: A dataset constructed at the census division level (n = 280), comprising the Canadian Vital Statistics Death Database, the Canadian Census of Population, and the National Household Survey was used to measure cervical cancer mortality in Canada. Income and education inequalities in cervical cancer mortality were measured using age-standardized Concentration index (C).
Results: Crude cervical cancer mortality rates decreased significantly during the study period. Age-standardized C values were negative for the majority of years for income and education inequalities, reaching significance in some years. Trend analyses indicated an increasing concentration of cervical cancer mortality amongst those with lower education levels.
Conclusion: Despite recent decreases in cervical cancer mortality rates, socioeconomic inequalities in cervical cancer mortality in Canada are persistent. Notably, those of lower income and education levels are disproportionately affected, underscoring an opportunity to improve clinical outcomes by addressing these inequalities.

Abstract The success of clear aligner treatment relies on rational treatment planning, favorable patients' compliance and high-quality clinical dental monitoring. High-quality clinical dental monitoring involves not only evaluation of real-time tooth position and treatment-designed tooth position, but also the assessment of the root-alveolar bone relationship. However, fluent imaging tests with ionizing radiation are not realistic in clinical practice. Regarding the rapid advances in digital techniques, biomechanism based method, image processing algorithm-based method and multimodal data fusion-based method all exhibit great potential in monitoring tooth movement. This paper introduced the progress and clinical application in those methods for clinicians' reference.

Abstract At present, machine learning artificial neural network technology, as one of the core technologies of enterprises, has received unprecedented attention. This technology is widely used in automatic driving, pattern recognition, teaching aid, product modeling, and other fields. According to the development of product design, this paper analyzes the factors that affect the decision-making of product design. The neural network optimized by genetic algorithm is studied, and the technical analysis of neural network algorithm before and after optimization is mainly carried out. The basic process of product modeling design model based on image processing under the background of big data is introduced. The multidirectional group decision-making model of product modeling design scheme in big data cloud environment is constructed. The final decision model can improve the overall design efficiency, shorten the manufacturing period, and provide a new idea for product modeling design.
