    Abstract Destination image is a powerful means by which destinations compete in the tourism industry, and the accurate identification of a destination image better serves destination marketing and management. This study uses multimodal data, such as text, images, and videos uploaded by tourists, to construct a comprehensive and systematic destination image process. The "cognitive-emotional-overall image" model, latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) model, and deep residual neural networks are implemented to build a framework to examine the perception of a destination image, travelogues, and short videos from the sources called Ctrip, Qunar, and TikTok. The results show that tourists' overall perception of Sanya is based mainly on the cognitive image of natural scenery, human resources, and food. In addition, there are differences between textual and visual cognitive images among the perceptual images when multimodal data is under consideration. Furthermore, tourists have an overall positive affective image of Sanya as a destination.

    Abstract With the development of information technology, high-performance wearable strain sensors with high sensitivity and stretchability have played a significant role in motion detection. However, many high-sensitivity and outstanding-stretchability strain sensors possess a limited linear sensing range, which limits the enhancement of the flexible strain sensors' performance. Herein, we develop a hybrid-structured carbon nanotube (CNT)/Ecoflex strain sensor with laser-engraved grooves along with punched circular holes in a composite CNT/Ecoflex film by vacuum filtration and permeation. By optimizing the distribution of grooves and circular holes, the strain in the sensing layer can be locally regulated, which alters the morphology of cracks under strain and allows the hybrid-structured CNT/Ecoflex strain sensor to simultaneously exhibit high sensitivity (GF = 43.8) as well as a wide linear sensing range (200%). On the basis of excellent performance, the hybrid-structured CNT/Ecoflex strain sensor is capable of detecting movements in various parts of the human body, including movements of larynx and joint bending.

    Abstract Previous general super-resolution methods do not perform well in restoring the details structure information of face images. Prior and attribute-based face super-resolution methods have improved performance with extra trained results. However, they need an additional network and extra training data are challenging to obtain. To address these issues, we propose a Multi-phase Attention Network (MPAN). Specifically, our proposed MPAN builds on integrated residual attention groups (IRAG) and a concatenated attention module (CAM). The IRAG consists of residual channel attention blocks (RCAB) and an integrated attention module (IAM). Meanwhile, we use IRAG to bootstrap the face structures. We utilize the CAM to concentrate on informative layers, hence improving the network's ability to reconstruct facial texture features. We use the IAM to focus on important positions and channels, which makes the network more effective at restoring key face structures like eyes and mouths. The above two attention modules form the multi-phase attention mechanism. Extensive experiments show that our MPAN has a significant competitive advantage over other state-of-the-art networks on various scale factors using various metrics, including PSNR and SSIM. Overall, our proposed Multi-phase Attention mechanism significantly improves the network for recovering face HR images without using additional information.

    Abstract Hibiscus latent Singapore virus (HLSV) and Hibiscus latent Fort Pierce virus (HLFPV) both belong to the genus Tobamovirus in the family Virgaviridae. The genomes of both HLSV and HLFPV consist of a linear positive sense single-stranded RNA of about 6.3 kb. HLSV is the causal agent of hibiscus leaf crinkle disease. Infections of HLSV in hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis) have so far only been reported in Singapore, Japan and Malaysia (Srinivasan et al., 2002; Yoshida et al., 2018; Yusop et al., 2021). In 2017, leaf curling and chlorosis symptoms of lantana (Lantana camara) plants were found in Chenshan Botanical Garden, Shanghai, China. To detect potential virus(es) in these lantana samples, leaves from one lantana plant were collected and total RNA was extracted with RNAiso Plus (TaKaRa). A cDNA library was prepared by TruSeq RNA Sample Prep Kit (Illumina) after removing ribosomal RNA by Ribo-ZeroTM rRNA Removal Kit (Epicentre). The paired-end sequencing was then performed on an Illumina NovaSeq 6000. A total of 61,085,018 high quality reads were obtained and de novo assembly by StringTie revealed 124,516 contigs (greater than 50 bp, N50=719 bp) with an average length of 537 bp. BLASTx analyses in the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) database showed that 1 long contig of 6,305 bp, assembled of 1794 clean reads, shared significant nucleotide similarities with the genomic sequence of HLSV, and 1 contig of 6,271 bp, assembled of 3174 clean reads, shared significant similarities with the genomic sequence of HLFPV, yielding an average coverage of the whole genome at 42.65 and 75.83 per million reads, respectively. To obtain the complete genome of the viral RNA in this lantana sample, eleven overlapping regions covering the entire HLSV viral genome, and nine overlapping regions covering the entire HLFPV viral genome were amplified by reverse transcription-PCR (RT-PCR) and sequenced. In addition, the exact 5' and 3' ends of the genomic RNA of each virus were determined by rapid amplification of the cDNA ends (RACE) (Wang et al. 2020). The complete genome of the identified HLSV, deposited in GenBank: MZ020960, is 6,486 nt in length and shows 98.4% nucleotide sequence identity with HLSV Singapore isolate (GenBank: AF395898). Similar to other HLSV isolates, this virus isolate possesses an internal poly(A) tract of 87 nucleotides, which is crucial to virus replication (Niu et al., 2015). The complete genome of the Lantana HLFPV isolate is 6,463 nt (GenBank MZ020961) including a 73 nt internal poly(A) tract, and has 98.4% nt identity to HLFPV-Japan (AB917427). In two other lantana plants from the same site, the presence of HLSV and HLFPV was confirmed by RT-PCR using the primer pairs (5'-GCATCTGCATAACACGGTTG-3'/5'-ACGTTGTAGTAGACGTTGTTGTAG-3' and 5'-GGACCTTGCTAATCCGCTAAAGTTG-3'/5'-GGTCCATGTCCATCCAGATGCAATC-3'). In addition to the HLSV and HLFPV genomes, BLASTx analysis of three contigs of 3,006 bp, 2,845 bp and 2,200 bp, assembled of 1328, 352 and 2280 clean reads respectively, showed high identity to RNAs 1 (MG182148), 2 (DQ412731) and 3 (KY794710) of cucumber mosaic virus. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of L. camara as a new natural host of HLSV and HLFPV, and first identification of a mixed infection of HLSV and HLFPV.

    Abstract A closed-form model of bistatic multiphoton quantum radar cross section (QRCS) for the cylindrical surface, the main structure of typical aircraft, especially missiles, is established to analyze the system and scattering characteristics. The influence of curvature of the three-dimensional target on QRCS is analyzed. By comparing and analyzing the bistatic multiphoton QRCS for a cylinder and a rectangular plate, we find that the QRCS for the convex surface target is the extension of the QRCS for the planar target with inhomogeneous atomic arrangement intervals and patterns. The characteristics of cylindrical QRCS are discussed by combining the transceiver system and the photon number of the transmitted signal, and the influences of the cylindrical radius, cylindrical length, and incident photon number on QRCS are analyzed. The bistatic results provide guidance on potential strong scattering directions for the target under various directions of photon incidence. Compared with the plane target, the cylindrical target amplifies scattering intensity near the target surface at the scattering angle side in the bistatic system. A bistatic multiphoton quantum radar system can achieve sharpening and amplification of the main lobe of the QRCS for a cylinder in an extensive scattering angle range. Bistatic multiphoton quantum radar has better visibility for the cylinder with a smaller length. These characteristics will provide prior information for research in many fields, such as photonic technology, radar technology, and precision metrology.

    Abstract Mixed panel count data represent a common complex data structure in longitudinal survey studies. A major challenge in analyzing such data is variable selection and estimation while efficiently incorporating both the panel count and panel binary data components. Analyses in the medical literature have often ignored the panel binary component and treated it as missing with the unknown panel counts, while obviously such a simplification does not effectively utilize the original data information. In this research, we put forward a penalized likelihood variable selection and estimation procedure under the proportional mean model. A computationally efficient EM algorithm is developed that ensures sparse estimation for variable selection, and the resulting estimator is shown to have the desirable oracle property. Simulation studies assessed and confirmed the good finite-sample properties of the proposed method, and the method is applied to analyze a motivating dataset from the Health and Retirement Study.

    Abstract Aim: Precision liver resection is considered the gold standard in liver surgery. Therefore, optimizing the resection of lesions and minimizing unnecessary time of liver ischemia and hypoxia have become focal points.
    Methods: A total of 96 patients with primary liver cancer admitted to Cangzhou People's Hospital from January 2017 and December 2019 were included in this retrospective study, and divided into two groups according to the different surgical treatment, with 50 cases in the control group (conventional hepatic resection) and 46 cases in the observation group (precision liver resection). The surgical indicators, liver function, alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), complications, and three-year follow-up results were analyzed in the two groups.
    Results: The operation time, intraoperative bleeding, hospital stay, and time of anal venting in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). One week after surgery, AST, TBiL, ALT, and γ-GT levels decreased in both groups, with more significant decreases in the observation group than those in the control group (P<0.05). PCT and hs-CRP levels in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05) observation. The incidences of pleural effusion, bile leak, abdominal infection, pulmonary infection, as well as the total complication rates in the observation group were lower in the observation group than those in the control group (P<0.05). The follow-up data revealed that the observation group exhibited a lower recurrence rate observationand higher survival rate than the control group within 3 years, but these differences were not significant (P>0.05).
    Conclusion: Precision liver resection can effectively treat primary liver cancer, reduce the incidence of complications, and promote patient recovery after surgery.
