    Abstract According to traditional motivation methodology companies are considered successful in case they stimulate personnel for new organizational achievements and at the same time they do not have high staff turnover and optimize costs. B. Skinner, the founder of the concept of operant conditionality thought that there were only two tools that can cause modification of employee behavior, i.e. support and punishment. However, empiric research of company practice based on case-analysis show that the level of employee efforts aimed at production figures cannot always correspond to the level of reward both tangible and intangible. In B. Skinner’s concept there is a certain noncomprehended field, which requires additional study. The article came to the conclusion that there is not always a direct dependence between indicators of employee efforts and the level of reward, moreover game practices (gamification) are used in companies, where this correlation is not evident. The authors analyzed a number of today’s organizations in the context of introducing gamification tools to stimulate the efficient work of personnel with regard to cost optimization. Findings of the research can be used for further critical revision of traditional motivation methods in times of global digitalization and management transformation.

    Abstract The topic of making investment and choosing the most effective trends of investing money is becoming more acute for today’s organizations due to numerous crisis economic events and accompanying difficulties with capital reproduction. In researching options of investment special attention is paid to strategic aspects of alternative financial and technological opportunities of putting in resources and forecasting the horizon of recovery of the investment. Apart from this, the research interest is aroused by the impact of basic lines of enterprises’ investment on the level of their economic results together with trends of providing long-term sustainable development. The authors analyzed cases of the biggest Russian industrial organizations, identified correlation between investment flows within the frames of the organization and the effect of investment on the basis of consolidated accounting of these companies. The article analyzes some investment projects of the NMLK Group and the PAO Sibur, for instance, introduction of innovation model of making forecast concerning breaking-down of critical equipment and the system of corporate social responsibility. The authors made recommendations on prioritization of aspects of socially important trends of investment for today’s big companies, which could lead to raising efficiency of organizations’ work and thus to principles of sustainable development

    Abstract In today’s organizations the concept of diversity management has won a steady position for the last 30 years and is becoming more and more important due to inevitable extension of human society diversity. The article provides certain aspects of multi-culturalism ideology, some approaches to managing cultural diversification within the frames of the current context of management. The authors studies subjects of diversity management, which is acute and needed for today’s business-practice. They analyzed G. Hofsted cultural typology, ranged key types of world cultures according to R. D. Lewis and their principle characteristics. The research aims at two basic positions: on the one hand, diversity management can help organizations that are afraid of the phenomenon because of its assumed adverse consequences; on the other hand, it can help companies, which realize this concept now and use its advantages. In conclusion the authors write that efficient diversity management implies changes in consciousness, attitude, behavior, organizational practice, structure and culture, as well as in totality of rules, procedures and ethic of business, where every person from different layers of society could contribute to attainment of organization’s goals and realize his/her own potential.

    Abstract The market environment where enterprises function is a dynamically developing system today. Therefore, sustainability of the enterprise is one of the essential characteristics of organization competitiveness in market economy. The article studies different aspects of enterprise sustainability. It shows that the higher sustainability the enterprise possesses, the lower impact it can experience on the part of unpredictable changes of market situation, political instability and various exogenous and endogenous factors. Due to this, risks of losing balance and facing bankruptcy are declining. Digitalization of equipment and whole factories can provide restructuring of the model in accordance with changing structures of global market, where we can observe the trend of transforming the product-supplier business-model into complex solution supplier. The authors propose to consider technologies of Industry 4.0 as instruments necessary to secure sustainability in organizations and give concrete examples of using digital tools at the enterprise. In case transformation of the business-model is carried out with due regard to the experience accumulated in the organization, factors and tools of digitalization can be necessary and even vital for sustainable development of the organization.
