Abstract In our study, we evaluated whether mean platelet volume (MPV) and neutrophil lymphocyte ratio (NLR) are predictive values in the diagnosis of Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis in patients diagnosed with scoliosis in our clinic. Approximately 15000 patients who applied to our spine outpatient clinic with the suspicion of scoliosis between 2011 and 2018 were reviewed retrospectively. 292 patients were included in the study. The patients were divided into 3 groups. Group 1; control group group 2; group with the possibility of developing scoliosis under follow-upand group 3; the patient group diagnosed with scoliosis. Spinal curvature degrees of the patients were measured using the Cobb method. The MPV and NLR values of the patients were compared with the degree of curvature measured by the cobb method. NLR was 2.17 ± 2.10 K/ul in Group 1, 2.42 ± 1.76 K/ul in Group 2, and 2.72 ± 3.91 K/ul in Group 3. Although the NLR of the 3rd group was higher than the other 2 groups, it was not statistically significant. (p > 0.05). MPV was 7.90 ± 1.07 fL in Group 1, 7.95 ±1.39 fL in Group 2, 8.33 ± 1.37 fL in Group 3.MPV was higher in Group 3 and was found to be statistically significant (p=0.024). After adjusting for the effects of gender and age variables on the groups, the difference in MPV between groups became more significant (p=0.017) . While there was no statistically significant difference between the groups in terms of NLR, it was observed that MPV was statistically significantly higher in patients with AIS.Could this relationship be a promising inflammatory marker for AIS? We think that this question should be answered by studies involving larger patient and control groups.

Abstract Introduction: There is no consensus in literature on the surgical treatment of patients with Crowe type III/IV patients. Each arthroplasty procedure has its own advantages and disadvantages. In this study by placing the acetabular cup between the true and false acetabulum, we aimed to share our experience about criteria of patient selection, surgical technique, and mid-term results of THA (total hip arthroplasty) in which the risk of dislocation was minimized using a standard-sized acetabular cup.
Materials and methods: We reviewed the clinical and radiographic data of the patients with Crowe type III/IV treated by cementless THA without femoral shortening osteotomy from January 2015 to January 2020. The clinical (Harris hip score, Trendelenburg sign, limb lengths) and radiographic (AP/L hip X-ray, 3D CT) examinations before surgery; 1, 3 months and 1 year after the surgery were evaluated. All postsurgical complications were noted.
Results: Among all, 268 patients met the inclusion criteria. Thirty-two patients (11.9%) were male and 236 (88.1%) were female. Mean age was 46.8 years. Mean follow-up duration was 42.4 (26-57) months. Mean Harris Hip score (HHS) was 49.7 and Trendelenburg sign was positive in all patients preoperatively. In the final evaluation, mean HHS significantly improved to 80.2 (
Conclusion: Total hip arthroplasty with placement of acetabular cup between true and false acetabulum can be successfully preferred in selected patients with Crowe III/IV dysplasia.

Abstract Objectives: The aim of this study is to compare the use of two different opioid delivery systems (bolus PCA with/without basal infusion) to control postoperative pain and evaluate the side effect profile in pediatric patients undergoing scoliosis surgery.
Patients and methods: 38 patients who underwent posterior spinal fusion for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis were included in the study. Patients were randomly divided into 2 groups by the computer. Patients who received only bolus PCA were named Group 1, and patients who received bolus PCA with basal infusion were named Group 2.Morphine consumption, postoperative pain assessmentduring rest, movement and coughing with numeric rating scale (NRS) and the Wong -Baker pain scale, heart rate and average blood pressure, sedation levels withRamsey sedation scale and side effects such as nausea, vomiting, itching, desaturation, and urinary retention were recorded.
Results: Total mean morphine consumption (mg) was 32.7 ± 9.7 in Group 1 and 43.4 ± 9.1 in Group 2. The mean morphine consumption (mg) at 12-24 hours and 0-48 hours in Group 1 was statistically lower than Group 2 (p = 0.001). There was no significant difference between the groups in terms of median NRS scores (p = 0.55). There was no statistically significant difference in the evaluation of the groups in terms of Wong-Baker pain scale. Wong-Baker pain scale is p:0.66 at the 2nd hour, p:0.951 at the 12th hour and p:0.467 at the 24th hour. There was no statistically significant difference in Ramsay Sedation Scale evaluation between groups during each follow-up time (p > 0.05). The Ramsay Sedation Scale was p: 0.94 at the 2nd hour, p:1.0 at the 12th hour, and p:1.0 at the 24th hour. The duration of vomiting between 0-2 h, 2-24 h and 0-48 h was higher in Group 2 (p = 0.001, p = 0.024, p = 0.001).
Conclusion: The two administration settings of morphine sulphate by PCA pump have shown to be equally effective in the treatment of postoperative pain following PSF. In addition, PCA with basal infusion administration causes more opioid consumption and more systemic side effects. Therefore, the use of only bolus PCA in pediatric scoliosis surgery should be encouraged.

Abstract Introduction and hypothesis: The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of sexual counseling and pelvic floor relaxation on sexual functions in women receiving vaginismus treatment.
Methods: A total of 34 women at the vaginismus treatment stage, including 17 in the experiment group and 17 in the control group, were included in the study with a randomized controlled design. In addition to the routine treatment protocol, women in the experiment group were provided with pelvic relaxation and sexual counseling based on the Information, Motivation, Behavior (IMB) model consisting of four sessions. The control group received the routine treatment protocol. The assessments were made at the 3rd week and 2nd month after coitus. The women filled out an Information Form, the validated Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI), and the Vaginal Penetration Cognition Questionnaire (VPCQ).
Results: The mean age of the women was 27.59±5.32, and their mean duration of marriage/relationship was 33.44±12.11 months. After the treatment statistically significant increases were observed in the total FSFI scores and the desire, arousal, and pain dimension scores of the experiment group in comparison with the control group (p<0.05). In the VPCQ total scores, there was a significant reduction in the experiment group in comparison with the control group and after the treatment in comparison with before the treatment (p<0.01).
Conclusions: The sexual counseling based on the IMB model and pelvic relaxation interventions provided to the women who were receiving vaginismus treatment affected their sexual function positively. It may be recommended to conduct comparative studies with a broader sample and different models.

Abstract Dairy quality affects the health and quality of life of consumers. Implementing supply chain management and collaborative quality control is an effective way to solve dairy quality problems. Based on the perspective of the combination of market failure and government intervention, this paper analyzes the conditions for the realization of collaborative quality control between dairy farmers and dairy processors. At the same time, this paper uses relevant data to verify the applicability of the model and the accuracy of the conclusions. The findings show that both low yields and high spillovers lead to market failures. When farmers adopt advanced prevention strategies and dairy processors adopt advanced inspection strategies with low yields, basic prevention and basic inspection will be the best combination of quality control strategies for both parties. In this case, the government should subsidize the advanced control strategy to provide adequate subsidies. This will provide incentives for both parties to work together to ensure the quality of dairy products. Secondly, when farmers adopt advanced prevention strategies or dairy processors adopt advanced inspection strategies yields increase but spillover rates are higher. Advanced prevention, basic inspection or basic prevention, advanced inspection would be the optimal combination of strategies for both parties. At this point, the government should increase the penalties. The simulation results further indicate that the government subsidy is more effective for dairy farmers. Government penalties have both the positive and negative reinforcing effects.

Abstract Climate change concerns have become severe challenges in developing countries' sustainable development due to the immense usage of fossil fuels. The government has effectively employed green practices to solve these challenges in developing countries. This study explores how corporate social responsibility influences firm performance by analyzing the data collected from 650 respondents of manufacturing firms in a developing country, i.e., China. Structural equation modeling has been applied to analyze and investigate the proposed hypotheses. The results showed that corporate social responsibility does not directly affect the firm performance. In contrast, corporate social responsibility is positively related to green transformational leadership and green innovation, which improve firm performance. The results further indicated that green innovation and green transformational leadership significantly mediate the link between corporate social responsibility and firm performance. This study offers essential insights for managers and policymakers of manufacturing firms in managing corporate social responsibility, green innovation, and green transformational leadership when analyzing firm performance. It may aid general managers of major manufacturing firms in strengthening internal resources to improve the firm performance.

Abstract It is crucial to fulfill sustainable development goals in combating environmental pollution. Recently, there has been a growing literature on environmental pollution; however, while many proxies represent environmental pollution, few proxies represent environmental sustainability. In this paper, we examine the effects of institutional quality (SDG-16), economic growth (SDG-8), and renewable energy (SDG-7) on the inverted load capacity factor (SDG-13) in OECD countries from 1999 to 2018. The objective is to ensure environmental sustainability within the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework. In this respect, the study differs from the existing literature by approaching the sustainable environment literature from a broader perspective. Long-term empirical estimates from the PMG-ARDL technique have shown that institutional quality, reel income, and population increase the inverted load capacity factor, that is, decrease environmental sustainability. However, on the contrary, renewable energy decreases the inverted load capacity factor. Therefore, renewable energy consumption helps reach SDG-7 and SDG-13 in OECD countries. In addition, it is found that economic growth is significant both in the long run and in the short run, and the impact of economic growth on the environment is greater in the short run than in the long run. This result supports the environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) hypothesis for OECD countries. The panel causality test results find a bidirectional causality relationship from renewable energy and population to inverted load capacity factor and a unidirectional causality relationship from institutional quality to inverted load capacity factor. This study argues that policymakers should concentrate on deploying environmentally friendly technology to slow down environmental degradation, increase the usage of renewable energy sources, and promote sustainable development in line with the SDGs.

Abstract The study of top economic growth with the goal of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has become an important issue in the world, and scholars have analyzed high-quality economic development(HED) influencing factors from many perspectives, but there are few studies on green finance(GF) and high-quality economic development(HED). we examine the logical link between green financing and high-quality economic development, as well as the transmission mechanism behind this relationship. Using data from 30 Chinese regions from 2011 to 2021, our empirical study shows that green financing may improve high-quality economic development. Several robustness tests show that this association exists. Furthermore, our findings indicate that more robust government governance and market synergy may promote green finance for high-quality economic development. Green finance can enhance high-quality economic development by minimizing resource mismatch and encouraging green technology advancement. Simultaneously, green finance for high-quality economic development is significantly heterogeneous. Green credit and green insurance are important forms of support for promoting high-quality economic development, with significantly higher impacts in the eastern regions than in the central and western regions. Our research offers policymakers insights on encouraging green finance growth in China.
