Abstract We show that JIMWLK evolution equation [1] for quadrupole, normalized trace of 4 Wilson lines, reduces to BJKP equation [2] for the exchange of 4-Reggeized gluons in the dilute region (weak field limit). We comment on how this may be generalized to the exchange of arbitrary number of Reggeized gluons and how one may derive expressions for multi-pomeron vertices.

Abstract We consider the single-inclusive minijet cross section in pA at forward rapidity within the color glass condensate model of high energy collisions. We show that the nucleus appears black to the incident quarks except for very large impact parameters. A markedly flatter p(t) distribution as compared to QCD in the dilute perturbative limit is predicted for transverse momenta about the saturation scale, which could be as large as Q(2)(s) approximately 10 GeV2 for a gold nucleus boosted to rapidity approximately 10 (as at the BNL-RHIC).

Abstract We compare the azimuthal correlations arising from three and two hadron production in p+p and Au+Au collisions at sq.rt.(S(NN))=200 GeV. We show that in Au+Au, the two away side partons in two-to-three processes have in average a smaller and a greater path length than the average path length of the away-side parton in two-to-two processes. Since in average the particle with the shortest path length in two-to-three processes loses less energy, with respect to the away-side particle in two-to-two processes, this effect leads to a relative enhancement of the ratio of two-to-three to two-to-two processes in Au+Au compared to p+p collisions. We argue that this phenomenon may be responsible for the shape of the away side in azimuthal correlations at the Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider.
