Abstract Given that glaciers are good indicators of climate change, it is of great scientific significance to study glacier change for regional environmental protection and water resource development and utilization. Using the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform, we obtained the distribution of glaciers in western China in 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020. Then, we analyzed the temporal and spatial evolutions of the glacier areas and their responses to climate change. The results showed that there were 52,384 glaciers in western China in 2020, with an area of 42,903.57 km 2 , among which those belonging to the headwater of the Tarim River are the largest, accounting for 35.25% of the total area. From 2000 to 2020, the glaciers indicated an overall trend of retreat, with the total area decreasing by 15,575.94 km 2 at a change rate of 1.46%/a. From 2000 to 2010, glaciers in the southeast Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (QTP) and Qilian Mountains saw the fastest area loss (>4%/a), followed by the Tianshan Mountains (3.31%/a), while those in the Pamir-Karakoram-West Kunlun regions and the Qiangtang Plateau had the slowest loss. From 2010 to 2020, the glacier retreat rate exhibited an accelerating trend in southeast QTP and the western Himalayas, while it slowed down in the Tianshan Mountains. The change in glaciers was greatly attributed to the combination of snowfall and summer temperature trends. The glaciers in southeast QTP showed an accelerated retreat tendency, probably due to the accelerating snowfall decrease and continuous temperature rise. The decreasing temperature mitigated the loss of glacier area in the Pamir-Karakoram-West Kunlun regions with continuously decreasing snowfall.

Abstract The COVID-19 brings about a great quantity of digital entrepreneurs in China. In the fierce competition, positive psychological capital can better help them adjust emotions, cognition and behavior. However, little is known of how to improve the digital entrepreneurial psychological capital (DEPC). To fill this gap, this paper explored the configurations to promote DEPC. Based on the key psychological resources theory, a configurational framework which encompasses the antecedent conditions of self-regulation, entrepreneurial learning, family support and entrepreneurial environment is proposed. Using fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) to analyze the survey data of 238 digital entrepreneurs in China, specifically, there are 4 recipes for resulting in high DEPC and 5 for not-high DEPC. The results reveal that the changes of DEPC are mainly caused by the synergy of multi-factors. In order to enhance DEPC, digital entrepreneurs should seek support from family members actively; build self-regulated entrepreneurial learning (SREL) capabilities or entrepreneurial experience learning capabilities; and adjust promoting regulatory focus to a lower level or accumulate the experience of digital entrepreneurship in a good entrepreneurial environment. Overall, this work highlights the approaches to high DEPC. Theoretically, it contributes to the literature on positive organizational behavior by confirming the configurational roles of DEPC; practically, it provides beneficial implications for the development of DEPC, which helps digital entrepreneurs face the crisis better in VUCA environment.

Abstract Aspiration catheters are widely used in mechanical thrombectomy procedures to treat acute ischemic stroke due to large vessel occlusion. The key performance requirements for aspiration catheters are ease of navigation and effective aspiration. In this work, we review the clinical experience and in vitro studies of REACT aspiration catheters (Medtronic, Minneapolis, MN, USA). In vitro experiments showed that REACT catheters exhibit solid performance in navigation and aspiration. Previous studies reported that the recanalization capacity of the aspiration catheters can be influenced by the devices’ inner diameter and tip distensibility, the catheter-to-vessel diameter ratio, the negative pressure delivered by the vacuum generator, the cyclical aspiration mode, the proximal flow arrest, and the angle of interaction between catheter and clot. REACT catheters can be navigated through the vasculature without any support from a microcatheter/ microwire in favorable anatomical configurations. In challenging situations, mostly encountered when crossing the ophthalmic segment of the internal carotid artery, the use of the stentriever anchoring technique or delivery assist catheter can facilitate the navigation. Three clinical studies reporting on 299 patients who underwent mechanical thrombectomy with REACT catheters were included in this review. Successful recanalization (modified treatment in cerebral ischemia score 2b–3) was achieved in 89–96% of cases, no procedural complications related to REACT catheters were reported, and functional independence (modified Rankin Scale 0–2) at 90-days was 24–36%. In vitro experimental evaluations and clinical studies support the safety and effectiveness of the REACT catheters.

Abstract As financial conditions become more complex and variable, capturing economic patterns becomes harder. The Financial Conditions Index (FCI) has gained traction as a tool to assess the performance of financial markets in nations or regions. This paragraph has created the China FCI using various financial indicators from 2002 to 2022. And with the use of statistical models like DMA-TVP-FAVAR, mixed-frequency Granger causality test, TVP-SV-VAR, and MS-VAR to analyze the relationship between China's financial condition, real economy, and the crude oil market. Different impacts were observed over time and in response to economic shocks, Results show that the fluctuation of international oil price has a negative impact on our financial condition. Therefore, the government should consider the impact of external shock factors such as international crude oil price when formulating financial policies to prevent financial risks.

Abstract A series of cationic waterborne polyurethane (CWPU) emulsions was synthesized with isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) and hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) as hard segments; polyol (N210) and polyethylene glycol (PEG-2000) as soft segments; N-methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) as a hydrophilic chain extender; and trimethylolpropane (TMP) as a crosslinker. Then, the effects of the R-value, MDEA content, and TMP content on the properties of the CWPU emulsion, film, and fabric treatment were investigated. The results indicated that when the R-value was 3.0, the MEDA content accounted for 4.0% of the solid and the TMP content accounted for 1.0% of the solid. CWPU has excellent storage stability. Applying it to the fixing treatment of the viscose fiber fabrics can effectively improve the color fastness to rubbing, elasticity, surface smoothness, and anti-static properties.

Abstract Community is directly responsible for implementing the policy measures against public emergencies such as extreme weather, earthquake, flash flood and pandemic diseases. Summarizing the experience at the urban community level can help promote the global emergency management. This paper, from the perspective of COVID-19 prevention and control, selects three communities with different features to explore an effective response system for public emergency management at the urban community level. It demonstrates that based on a centralized leadership, the multi-level governance (MLG) network combined with information technology has mobilized their participation in combating COVID-19 and ensured the effective and timely response to the public emergencies, which blocked the spread of epidemic to the greatest extent, proving worthy of being promoted as one of the Chinese approaches and Chinese wisdom.

Abstract We study the semiclassical limit of the anisotropic two-photon Dicke model with a dissipative bosonic field and describe its rich nonlinear dynamics. Besides normal and ‘superradiant’-like phases, the presence of localized fixed points reflects the spectral collapse of the closed-system Hamiltonian. Through Hopf bifurcations of superradiant and normal fixed points, limit cycles are formed in certain regions of parameters. We also identify a pole-flip transition induced by anisotropy and a region of chaotic dynamics, which appears from a cascade of period-doubling bifurcations. In the chaotic region, collision and fragmentation of symmetric attractors take place. Throughout the phase diagram we find several examples of phase coexistence, leading to the segmentation of phase space into distinct basins of attraction.

Abstract Fault diagnosis of rolling bearings is significant for mechanical equipment operation and maintenance. Presently, the deep convolutional neural network (CNN) is increasingly used for fault diagnosis of rolling bearings, but CNN has challenges with incomplete training and lengthy training times. This paper proposes a residual network combined with the transfer learning (ResNet-TL) based diagnosis method for rolling bearing, which can preprocess the one-dimensional data of vibration signals into image data. Then, the transfer learning theory in parameter transfer is applied to the training of the network model, and the ResNet34 network is pre-trained and re-trained; the image data are selected to be the inputs of the fault diagnosis model. The experimental validation of the rolling bearing fault dataset collected from the practical bench and Case Western Reserve University shows the superiority of the ResNet34-TL model compared with other classification models.

Abstract Revascularization has been incorporated into endodontic practice and become a viable treatment alternative for immature teeth with pulp necrosis. Thorough disinfection of the root canal is a key factor for successful revascularization. An erbium: yttrium–aluminium–garnet (Er: YAG) laser has been proved advantageous for efficient root canal disinfection. This article reports one case of periapical periodontitis caused by a fractured occlusal tubercle. Revascularization assisted by Er: YAG laser irrigation was carried out with long-term follow up. During the process of treatment, we opened drainage to relieve the acute symptoms first. The necrotic pulp was removed, and then the root canal was rinsed with 0.5% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) solution assisted by Er: YAG laser irrigation, dried, and filled with a triple-antibiotic paste. After two weeks, the intracanal medication was removed, and 9 mL of whole vein blood was taken from the patient to prepare concentrated growth factor (CGF) after failing to induce enough blood into the canal system by over-instrumenting. The newly prepared CGF was transferred into the root canal. A 3 mm mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) was placed directly on the thrombus of the CGF and then restored with glass-ionomer cement (GIC). The case was followed up for more than four years to record the clinical symptoms and imaging manifestations. Er: YAG irrigation is an efficient root canal disinfection protocol with the advantages of easy operation and minimal risk, which might be applicable to the revascularization of necrotic immature permanent teeth.
