Abstract | The patient was a 48-year-old male with a previous history of diabetes mellitus and hypertension. The patient had persistent bleeding after vitrectomy of the left eye, and the patient was examined for abnormal coagulation factor Ⅷ combined with Ⅻ. This case suggests that we need effective control of blood glucose and blood pressure in patients undergoing vitrectomy in clinical work, and adequate examination of coagulation function. Patients with coagulation factor deficiency should be treated with plasma transfusion to supplement coagulation factors before performing the necessary surgical treatment to prevent severe bleeding. |
