Abstract Aiming at the difficulty in setting the support threshold for sequential pattern mining algorithms and improving the effectiveness of the support threshold setting without the guidance of domain experts’ experience, an improved SPADE (sequential pattern discovery using equivalence classes) algorithm is proposed. By analyzing the relationship between the number of frequent sequences and the support threshold, the support threshold is dynamically selected. Using the electronic medical record data from a medical centre, the time-series relationship of the drugs taken by hypertension patients was extracted as the drug sequence dataset. By determining the optimal support threshold of the dataset, the frequent sequence set is mined, and the sequence rules are generated from the obtained regular sequences to visualize the sequence rules. The sequence rules of medication for hypertensive patients were combined with the patients’ physical indicators for the recommendation. For patients with obstetric hypertension, a combination of nifedipine and captopril is recommended. Through the comparison of the observation group and control group, we study the curative effect of various drugs. The results showed that the total effective rate of the observation group was about 96.6%; compared with the control group, the result indicated that the difference was significant (P < 0.05). The comparison of blood pressure levels between the two groups after treatment also showed that the results of the observation group were ideal (P < 0.05). In addition, the incidence of postpartum haemorrhage and perinatal complications in the observation group was also significantly reduced (P < 0.05). Therefore, the combination of medication for pregnancy hypertension syndrome can effectively improve the treatment effect of the disease and reduce the rate of postpartum haemorrhage and the incidence of perinatal complications.

Abstract It is necessary to ensure the ship's stability in container ship stowage and loading and unloading containers. This work aims to reduce the container dumping operation at the midway port and improve the efficiency of ship transportation. Firstly, the constraint problem of the traditional container ship stacking is introduced to realize the multi-condition mathematical model of the container ship, container, and wharf. Secondly, a Hybrid Genetic and Simulated Annealing Algorithm (HGSAA) model is proposed for the container stacking and loading stacking in the yard. The specific container space allocation and multi-yard crane adjustment scheme are studied. Finally, the effectiveness of the multi-condition container ship stowage model is verified by numerical experiments by changing the number of outbound containers, storage strategies, storage yards, and bridges. The experimental results show that the HGSAA mode converges to 106.1min at the 751st iteration. Of these, the non-loading and unloading time of yard bridge 1 is 3.43min. The number of operating boxes is 25. The non-loading and unloading time of yard bridge 2 is 3.2min, and the operating box volume is 25 boxes. The objective function of the genetic algorithm converges when it iterates to generation 903 and 107.9min. Among them, the non-loading and unloading time of yard bridge 1 is 4.1min. The non-loading and unloading time of yard bridge 2 is 3.1min. Therefore, the proposed HGSAA has a faster convergence speed than the genetic algorithm and can obtain relatively good results. The proposed container stacking strategy can effectively solve the specific container allocation and multi-yard crane scheduling problems. The finding provides a reference for optimizing container scheduling and improving shipping transportation efficiency.

Abstract In this study, the hydrological system of the Weather Research and Forecasting model (WRF-Hydro) is applied to simulate the streamflow at the Kaidu River Basin, which is vital to the ecological system in the lower reaches of the Tarim River in Northwest China. The offline WRF-Hydro model is coupled with the Noah multi-parameterization land surface model (Noah-MP) and is forced by the China Meteorological Forcing Dataset (CMFD), with the grid spacing of the hydrological routing modules being 250 m. A 3-year period (1983–1985) is used for calibration and a 17-year period (1986–2002) for the evaluation. Several key parameters of WRF-Hydro and four Noah-MP parameterization options are calibrated, and the performance of WRF-Hydro with the optimized model setting is evaluated using the daily streamflow observations. The results indicate that WRF-Hydro can reproduce the observed streamflow reasonably, with underestimation of the streamflow peaks. The simulated streamflow is sensitive to the parameters of bexp, dksat, smcmax, REFKDT, slope, OVROUGHRTAC and mann in the Kaidu River Basin. At the same time, the parameterization options of Noah-MP also have a large influence on the streamflow simulation. The WRF-Hydro model with optimized model settings can achieve correlation coefficient ( CC ) and Nash efficiency coefficient ( NSE ) statistical scores of 0.78 and 0.61, respectively, for the calibration period. Meanwhile, for the evaluation period, the scores are 0.7 and 0.50, respectively. This study indicates the importance of applying the physical-based WRF-Hydro model over Northwest China and provides a reference for the nearby regions.

Abstract Abstract With the prohibition of antibiotics in feed, plant functional substances have been widely studied as feed additives. Resveratrol, a natural stilbene, and a non-flavonoid polyphenol found in plants, possesses antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and metabolic regulatory features. Resveratrol generated intense scientific and public interest, primarily due to its widely reported ability to prevent cancer, delay aging and alleviate related metabolic diseases. Recently, resveratrol has been studied and applied as a feed additive in animal production. This review focuses on the outline of the absorption and metabolism and biological functions of resveratrol and summarizes the application of dietary resveratrol in animal production up to the present, including pigs, poultry, and ruminants. In pigs, dietary resveratrol improved intestinal health, mitochondrial function, meat quality, and more. In poultry, studies have shown that dietary resveratrol improves growth performance and meat and egg quality and alleviates heat stress induced adverse effects. There are few studies on dietary resveratrol in ruminants; however previous studies have indicated that dietary resveratrol increases nutrient digestibility and reduces methane emissions in sheep. It is hoped that this review could provide a specific theoretical basis and research ideas for the research and application of resveratrol.

Abstract Abstract A comprehensive quantification of global forest fragmentation is urgently required to guide forest protection, restoration and reforestation policies. Previous efforts focused on the static distribution patterns of forest remnants, potentially neglecting dynamic changes in forest landscapes. Here, we map global distribution of forest fragments and their temporal changes between 2000 and 2020. We find that forest landscapes in the tropics were relatively intact, yet these areas experienced the most severe fragmentation over the past two decades. In contrast, 75.1% of the world’s forests experienced a decrease in fragmentation, and forest fragmentation in most fragmented temperate and subtropical regions, mainly in northern Eurasia and South China, declined between 2000 and 2020. We also identify eight modes of fragmentation that indicate different recovery or degradation states. Our findings underscore the need to curb deforestation and increase connectivity among forest fragments, especially in tropical areas.

Abstract With the development of IoT technology, many dimensions of data are generated in the environment where we live. The study of these data is critical to our understanding of the relationships between people and between people and cities. The core components of IoT technology are sensors and control circuits. However, merging various sensor data and real-time data processing is often a difficult problem, usually related to factors such as coverage, lighting conditions, and accuracy of object detection. Therefore, we firstly propose a wireless transmission hardware architecture for data acquisition mainly based on vision sensors, and at the same time, incorporate some sensors for data calibration to improve the accuracy of data detection. The collected data are fed back to the edge computing platform for fast processing. The edge platform is designed with a lightweight target detection model and data analysis model. Through this multidimensional data collection and analysis, a generalised functional model for public space utilization can be fitted, which enables the calculation of utilization rates for any parameter in public space. The technology improves a technical reference for multi-dimensional data collection and analysis.

Abstract Abstract Objective This study aims to investigate the relationship between abnormal vaginal microecology and human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, as well as the squamous intraepithelial lesions (SIL) progression. Methods A total of 383 patients diagnosed with HPV infection in our hospital between March 2017 and February 2022 were selected as the experimental group. In addition, several volunteers (n = 898) who underwent physical examination during the same period were randomly selected as the control group. Subsequently, we conducted several investigations, such as HPV detection and gene typing, examined vaginal microecological imbalances, and performed cytological examinations to analyze the correlation between microecological changes, different types of HPV infection, and SIL progression. Results HPV detection primarily included single and high-risk types of HPV infections. Moreover, significant disparities in the vaginal microecological environment between patients with persistent HPV infection and the control group, as well as patients with low-grade and high-grade SIL (LSIL and HSIL), were observed. The regression analysis revealed a correlation between LSIL and microflora density, diversity, bacteriological vaginosis (BV), vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC), trichomonas vaginalis (TV), sialidase, as well as Lactobacillus. In addition, we identified an association between HSIL and pH, flora density, diversity, BV, VVC, candida vaginitis (CV), leukocyte esterase, catalase, and Lactobacillus levels. Conclusion These findings revealed a significant association between abnormal vaginal microecology and both HPV infection and the SIL progression.

Abstract BackgroundHappiness is a complex concept involving many subjects such as society, psychology, and ethics. How will migration distance affect migrants' happiness under the new trend of migration in China? The goal of this paper is to analyze the influence and transmission mechanism of migration distance on happiness of migrant individuals, and the heterogeneity of this effect on urban and rural migrants.MethodsEmploying data of 129,803 observations from the 2012 China Migrants Dynamic Survey, we first estimate the effects of migration distance on happiness by the ordinal logistic regression and propensity score matching (PSM) method. Second, we examine the heterogeneity of effect by splitting the sample into the urban and rural migrants. Finally, we analyze the transmission mechanism of migration distance on happiness by mediating effect model.ResultsThe migration distance of internal migrants in China has a significant negative impact on happiness. Urban migrant individuals show a stronger response to migration distance compared to rural counterparts. Social integration is proved as the potential mechanism through which the effect of migration distance on happiness.ConclusionThe results emphasize happiness of internal migrant and other mental health problems. Moreover, particular attention should be paid to social integration on happiness, such as strengthening the cultural exchange in different areas, narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas, promoting rational migrant decision of individual, and enhancing the happiness of them.

Abstract In this study, Scenedesmus sp. FSP3 was cultured using a two-stage culture strategy for CO 2 fixation and lutein production. During the first stage, propylene carbonate was added to the medium, with 5% CO 2 introduced to promote the rapid growth and CO 2 fixation of the microalgae. During the second stage of cultivation, a NaCl concentration of 156 mmol L −1 and a light intensity of 160 μmol m −2 s −1 were used to stimulate the accumulation of lutein in the microalgal cells. By using this culture method, high lutein production and CO 2 fixation were simultaneously achieved. The biomass productivity and carbon fixation rate of Scenedesmus sp. FSP3 reached 0.58 g L −1 d −1 and 1.09 g L −1 d −1 , with a lutein content and yield as high as 6.45 mg g −1 and 2.30 mg L −1 d −1 , respectively. The results reveal a commercially feasible way to integrate microalgal lutein production with CO 2 fixation processes.
