Abstract "Drawing on naturally-occurring doctor-patient conversations in real-life medical consultations, this book analyses the similarities and differences in doctor-patient communication and patient satisfaction between traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and western medicine (WM) practiced in China. Little research is available looking at WM being practiced in Asian countries and misunderstanding about eastern medicines such as TCM can result in unwarranted claims and suspicions. This volume contributes to research on doctor-patient communication by exploring the communication behaviors between doctors and older patients who are able to communicate independently in both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western Medicine (WM) practiced in Mainland China and evaluating patient satisfaction of their medical experiences. The book reports findings and insights from three independent and methodologically diverse studies, drawing on data from sixty-nine real-life medical consultations: 30 from TCM and 39 from WM. Using Conversation analysis, Roter Interaction Analysis System and both quantitative and qualitative methods, Ying Jin examines the differences between TCM and WM to help reveal the dynamics of doctor-patient interactions, the contextual details, and the impact of the clinical culture on medical communication. This insightful book will appeal to scholars and students from linguistics, language and health communication as well as medical practitioners interested in doctor-patient communication, and intercultural communication. The findings reported here will shine a light into the relationship between clinical differences, health communication, and patient outcomes"--

Abstract Mesenchymal stem cells, under spatiotemporal regulation of genes and microenvironment, are capable of spontaneously aggregating into dense regions, a phenomenon known as mesenchymal condensation. Mesenchymal condensation is an evolutionarily conserved developmental event that is critical in initiating morphogenesis of teeth and systemic organs. Mesenchymal stem cells hold the intrinsic ability to self-assemble in culture, and the generation of stem cell aggregates based on this property that mimics developmental mesenchymal condensation has become a potent and promising approach in regenerative medicine. This review discusses the mesenchymal condensation principles and its role as well as mechanism in tooth morphogenesis, as well as the engineering strategies for constructing mesenchymal stem cell aggregates and their application experience in tooth regeneration. It aims to start from the perspective of "development-inspired regeneration" and provide insights into understanding stem cell developmental biology and establishing new organ regenerative strategies.

Abstract Objectives: To analyze the difference in union and clinical outcomes between teriparatide (T) and teriparatide with vertebroplasty (V) treatment modalities in osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCFs).
Methods: Patients were divided into two groups (T and V: 87 and 92 patients with 105 fractures each). Radiological features (fracture type/grade, presence of fracture gap/intravertebral vacuum cleft (IVVC)/posterior vertebral wall fracture, change in compression rate (CR)/kyphotic angle (CA), and fusion status) were assessed with 3D-CT at 3 and 6 months. The outcome was divided into success or failure based on visual analog scale (<3), absence of percussion tenderness on the spinous process, and pain during motion. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to identify risk factors for nonunion and failed outcomes in each group.
Results: The V group showed more favorable results than the T group at 3 months (CR>10%, 58% vs. 17%; CA>5°, 36% vs. 16%; union, 66% vs. 91%; successful outcome, 77% vs. 94%). At 6 months, no significant change was detected in CR and CA. A significant difference remained in union (89% vs. 100%) and successful outcomes (79% vs. 100%). The V group with age (>75 years) and initial CR (>40%) had more benefits than the T group in the subgroup analysis. In multivariate analysis for the T group, nonunion risk factors were hypertension (P = .0054) and fracture gap (P = .0075). IVVC (P = .047) was the sole risk factor for failure.
Conclusions: Teriparatide with subsequent vertebroplasty can be selected as the first-line treatment with better sequelae and outcomes in acute osteoporotic compression fractures.

Abstract Objective: While numerous studies have highlighted an increased prevalence of depression in individuals with narcolepsy, their conclusions are often clouded by potential confounding factors, leaving the causal relationship uncertain. This study posits that narcolepsy might heighten the risk of depression and employs a two-sample Mendelian randomization analysis to investigate this hypothesis.
Methods: Summary statistics were obtained from genome-wide association studies databases and performed a two-sample MR analysis. The inverse-variance weighted method was employed as the primary approach to evaluate causality. Additionally, supplementary methods were conducted, including MR-Egger, simple median, maximum likelihood, weighted median, penalized weighted median, and weighted mode, to complement the IVW results. Finally, sensitivity analyses were undertaken to assess heterogeneity, horizontal pleiotropy, and stability of the results.
Results: The inverse-variance weighted analysis revealed an odds ratio of 1.055 with a 95% confidence interval of 1.015 to 1.097, indicating a significant positive association between narcolepsy and depression. Although significant heterogeneity was observed (Q = 56.22, p = 0.0005), no evidence of horizontal pleiotropy was detected (intercept = -0.00027, p = 0.69). Results from the additional methods were in agreement with those obtained from the inverse-variance weighted analysis. The reverse causality of depression on narcolepsy was not detected (p = 0.11).
Conclusion: This study suggests a potential causal association between narcolepsy and depression. While the findings offer insights into this relationship, they should be interpreted with caution, especially considering the limitations of the data. Further research is needed to better understand the underlying mechanisms and to explore potential interventions.

Abstract With the popularization of standardized classrooms in colleges and universities, it is possible to collect video data of students' class status through the camera device in the classroom. With abundant video data sources, it is easy to obtain big data of students' class status images. Unstructured video big data is a topic worthy of research in improving teaching quality. First, the current teaching ability of teachers in colleges and universities is investigated, and its problems are found. Then, the You Only Look Once (YOLO) network in the object detection network is mainly studied. The deficiencies in the network structure are further explored and optimized. It is used in real classroom scenarios as well as on student expression detection problems. Finally, the proposed scheme is tested. The test results show that at present, 20% and 38% of teachers in higher vocational colleges think that they are "dissatisfied" with their classroom teaching and practical guidance ability. And 38% of teachers wanted to improve the bad situation. The accuracy of the proposed model for student expression detection is higher than that of faster-region convolutional neural network and mask-region convolutional neural network by more than 8%, higher than the YOLO v3 model by more than 4%, and higher than YOLO v3 Tiny model above 6%. The proposed model provides some ideas for the application of deep learning technology in the improvement of teachers' teaching ability.

Abstract The ecological crisis made the British and American ecological literature develop rapidly in the 20th century ecological thought. As a unique literary style that expresses the relationship between nature and man, British and American ecological literature has a far-reaching romantic tradition, and returning to nature is its eternal theme and dream. The study of the romantic tradition of British and American ecological literature has important implications for the development of ecological literature and ecological criticism. British and American romantic writers wrote their own ecological consciousness from three aspects: natural aesthetic and spiritual significance, simple ecological environmental protection consciousness, and life community. They reveal the true meaning of beauty in nature, interpret the beauty of harmony in harmony with nature, advocate returning to nature and the beautiful nature of human beings, and open up a natural path leading to truth, goodness, and beauty for people to pursue their spiritual home. In addition, they also expressed their deep concern for natural resources and the natural environment and called on people to respect life and protect and rationally use natural resources. It highlights that people are not the real masters of the nature, but as an inseparable member of the nature, they form an equal community of destiny with other creatures in the world. The value of British and American romantic literature lies in revealing the deep relationship and mutual influence between human beings and nature and prompting people to comprehend the importance of protecting the ecological environment and living in harmony with nature.

Abstract This study aims to alleviate the current tense employment situation and study the entrepreneurial situation of teachers and students in colleges and universities. Firstly, based on the educational concept of Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics (STEAM), Ideological and Political Education (IPE) is added to psychological capital to explore the effect of the combination of the two on entrepreneurial performance. An entrepreneurial performance impact model is constructed, and the questionnaire is set. Secondly, the influence of psychological capital combined with IPE on sports morality is explored, and a sports morality questionnaire is designed. Finally, the questionnaire results are analyzed. The results showed that most of the participants in the survey are under the age of 25. The 25- to 29-year-olds are the smallest among those surveyed. The respondents who participated in the survey had the most undergraduate degrees, accounting for 43.4%. The 40 items on entrepreneurial performance this time obey a normal distribution, and the scale has good reliability and validity. The main factor analysis results obtained by principal component analysis include 6 factors. Their total explanatory power exceeds 67%, and the six factors screened out this time are well represented. The model tolerance is between 0.45 and 0.5, and the Variance Inflation Factor (VIF) value is less than 10. The scale does not suffer from multi-collinearity issues. IPE significantly strengthens the effect of psychological capital on entrepreneurial performance. The influences of various sports on sportsmanship, bravery, self-confidence, and self-transcendence are significantly different, and the

Abstract The purpose is to meet the needs of social development, encourage college students' employability, and alleviate social pressure. First, the domestic and international employment situation is discussed along with the derivation of entrepreneurship education. Second, ideological and political education is summarized, and accordingly, its internal advantages and external conditions are explained. Then, the current situation and existing problems of entrepreneurship education in Chinese higher education institutions are analyzed from the perspectives of entrepreneurship ideology, entrepreneurship thinking, and entrepreneurship ability. Consequently, a proposal is put forward to integrate entrepreneurship education into ideological and political education to promote the coordinated development of the multidisciplinary course. Finally, the Questionnaire Survey (QS) is designed on the relationship between college students' entrepreneurship education and ideological and political education, and the QS is conducted from three aspects: college students' entrepreneurship views, suggestions, and cognition of the ideological and political education. The QS results show that less than 10% of students are very interested in entrepreneurship education, and most students believe that entrepreneurship education plays a very limited role in their growth. Additionally, classroom teaching accounts for the most in entrepreneurship education, while extracurricular practice accounts for only 15%. In terms of teaching content, 80% of students believe that teachers of professional courses have made outstanding contributions to teaching results, but the number of teachers of professional courses is the least among all teachers. Further, the satisfaction of entrepreneurship education among college students is analyzed through the QS by issuing to three local higher education institutions, finding that the college students' understanding of entrepreneurship education is incomplete. The advantages of ideological and political education should be fully exerted to improve the recognition of entrepreneurship education, and entrepreneurship education should be integrated into daily teaching content. In this way, entrepreneurship education and ideological and political education can be fused, and entrepreneurship education can promote students' entrepreneurial ability and entrepreneurial thinking.

Abstract Students' mental health has always been a hot topic in colleges and universities. How to make students integrate into the collective and society faster and better is also one of the most difficult problems for educators. Students want to improve their competitiveness; not only must they have superb professional skills, but at the same time, they must have good social adaptability. Only in this way can they quickly complete their identity change and quickly adapt to workplace life. Students' social adaptability is not innate, but gradually formed through long-term positive mental health education. Considering the relationship between psychoeducation and social adaptability, in general, a good psychoeducation system is conducive to the development of students' social adaptability, and they promote each other. Good mental health education is multifaceted and sustainable for the development of social adaptability. In this context, it is necessary to formulate a targeted positive mental health education plan according to the actual situation of students, so as to comprehensively improve the comprehensive quality of students in this way.

Abstract Technology for dance-specific motion recognition is widely used in many industries, but Chinese research in this area is still in its early stages. Recognizing specific dance movements is the key to learning about and comprehending human actions and behaviors. The fault-tolerant feature of standardized sign language recognition is extended under the condition of small sample sizes, but the recognition accuracy remains a challenge. This issue needs to be resolved by fusing the essential details of particular dance movements. A dual-stream convolution neural network is suggested in this paper to investigate the recognition of particular dance movements. In this paper, a dual-stream convolution neural network is used to study the recognition of particular dance movements. The time spent by this algorithm gradually increases as the number of people in the image does, but only slightly. The algorithms proposed by Bergonzoni (2017) and Liu et al. (2021) both experience linear increases in running time as the population grows. In contrast, the running time of the algorithm in this study essentially increases negligibly. It has become a problem deserving in-depth study. Double-stream convolution neural network improves the practical value and technical complexity of dance motion automatic generation technology in art and cultural heritage protection, dance teaching, dance video retrieval, and dance arrangement.
