Abstract It is critical to realize accurate collecting, visualization, rule mining, and prediction analysis of the traffic flow operating state in order for the intelligent transportation system to achieve exact management and control of traffic flow. Traffic flow prediction is primarily concerned with traffic data on roadways, which has both temporal and spatial correlations. Aiming at the spatiotemporal characteristics, this paper studies two aspects and designs a traffic flow prediction model with a deep neural network. First, this work proposes a traffic flow spatial feature learning algorithm with the combination of graph convolutional neural network and attention mechanism. Distinct weights are assigned to the degree of mutual impact between different nodes, and node adaptive learning is implemented at the same time, which modifies the standard parameter sharing mode, allowing for improved expressive ability and spatial feature extraction. Secondly, a learning algorithm for temporal characteristics of traffic flow based on the temporal convolutional network is proposed, which ensures that the dimensions of input and output data are consistent through causal convolution. The dilated convolution can flexibly control the receptive field by setting the sampling interval and can also extract temporal features well for long-length spatiotemporal sequence data. Finally, a spatiotemporal graph attention-based traffic flow prediction approach is constructed. To learn features, learn parameters for multiple modes and improve the model effect, this model employs a combination of graph convolutional neural networks and an attention mechanism. It uses a temporal convolutional network to expand the receptive field, better capture temporal features, and finally add residual connections to prevent problems such as overfitting caused by too deep network layers.

Abstract In order to improve the management and operation efficiency of the modern supply chain, this paper combines the MR virtual reality technology to carry out the visual simulation of the modern supply chain. Moreover, this paper uses MR virtual simulation technology to perform intelligent perception of supply chain transportation equipment and transportation objects, recognize its shape and the force it receives, and ensure that there is no damage during the transportation process. The visual simulation of supply chain is realized by real-time dynamic display based on geometric model. Moreover, this paper combines the MR virtual reality technology to define the geometric and kinematic characteristics of the modeled object, then encapsulates these characteristics into the object class, and defines the behavior characteristics to establish an object class library. Finally, the experimental research verifies that the modern supply chain visual simulation technology based on MR virtual reality technology has a good simulation effect in the supply chain system.

Abstract ABSTRACT To explore the clinical effect of music therapy in the treatment of middle-aged and elderly patients with depression. From June 2019 to June 2020, 100 patients with depression in a community were selected as the object of this study, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to the order of visits, with 50 patients in each group. There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender, age, education level and drug treatment (medication dose, type) (P>0.05). The patients in the control group were treated with conventional antidepressant drugs. The patients in the observation group added music therapy to the conventional therapy. The music therapist needs to fully understand the basic situation of the patient and formulate a suitable music treatment plan according to the actual state of the patient. Compare the HANA and PSP scores between the two groups of depressive patients after treatment to judge the treatment effect on the patients. The Hana and PSP scores in the observation group after treatment were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). To treat depression, in addition to selecting appropriate drugs, alleviating the emotional state of patients is more important. Music therapy as an auxiliary treatment of traditional therapy, in the treatment of depression in the elderly, has been effectively verified, we should actively promote its application.

Abstract Accurate and automatic railhead inspection is crucial for the operational safety of railway systems. Deep learning on visual images is effective in the automatic detection of railhead defects, but either intensive data requirements or ignoring defect sizes reduce its applicability. This paper developed a machine learning framework based on wavelet scattering networks (WSNs) and neural networks (NNs) for identifying railhead defects. WSNs are functionally equivalent to deep convolutional neural networks while containing no parameters, thus suitable for non-intensive datasets. NNs can restore location and size information. The publicly available rail surface discrete defects (RSDD) datasets were analyzed, including 67 Type-I railhead images acquired from express tracks and 128 Type-II images captured from ordinary/heavy haul tracks. The ultimate validation accuracy reached 99.80% and 99.44%, respectively. WSNs can extract implicit signal features, and the support vector machine classifier can improve the learning accuracy of NNs by over 6%. Three criteria, namely the precision, recall, and F-measure, were calculated for comparison with the literature. At the pixel level, the developed approach achieved three criteria of around 90%, outperforming former methods. At the defect level, the recall rates reached 100%, indicating all labeled defects were identified. The precision rates were around 75%, affected by the insignificant misidentified speckles (smaller than 20 pixels). Nonetheless, the developed learning framework was effective in identifying railhead defects.

Abstract An effective construction method for long-length quantum code has important applications in the field based on large-scale data. With the rapid development of quantum computing, how to construct this class of quantum coding has become one of the key research fields in quantum information theory. Motivated by the block jacket matrix and its circulant permutation, we proposed a construction method for quantum quasi-cyclic (QC) codes with two classical codes. This simplifies the coding process for long-length quantum error-correction code (QECC) using number decomposition. The obtained code length N can achieve <semantics> O ( n 2 ) </semantics> if an appropriate prime number n is taken. Furthermore, with a suitable parameter in the construction method, the obtained codes have four cycles in their generator matrices and show good performance for low density codes.

Abstract We study an avascular spherical solid tumour model with cell physiological age and resource constraints in vivo. We divide the tumour cells into three components: proliferating cells, quiescent cells and dead cells in necrotic core. We assume that the division rate of proliferating cells is nonlinear due to the nutritional and spatial constraints. The proportion of newborn tumour cells entering directly into quiescent state is considered, since this proportion can respond to the therapeutic effect of drug. We establish a nonlinear age-structured tumour cell population model. We investigate the existence and uniqueness of the model solution and explore the local and global stabilities of the tumour-free steady state. The existence and local stability of the tumour steady state are studied. Finally, some numerical simulations are performed to verify the theoretical results and to investigate the effects of different parameters on the model.

Abstract Diabetes is often associated with reduced muscle mass and function. The ketogenic diet (KD) may improve muscle mass and function via the induction of nutritional ketosis. To test whether the KD is able to preserve muscle mass and strength in a mouse model of type 2 diabetes (T2DM), C57BL/6J mice were assigned to lean control, diabetes control, and KD groups. The mice were fed a standard diet (10% kcal from fat) or a high-fat diet (HFD) (60% kcal from fat). The diabetic condition was induced by a single injection of streptozotocin (STZ; 100 mg/kg) and nicotinamide (NAM; 120 mg/kg) into HFD-fed mice. After 8-week HFD feeding, the KD (90% kcal from fat) was fed to the KD group for the following 6 weeks. After the 14-week experimental period, an oral glucose tolerance test and grip strength test were conducted. Type 2 diabetic condition induced by HFD feeding and STZ/NAM injection resulted in reduced muscle mass and grip strength, and smaller muscle fiber areas. The KD nutritional intervention improved these effects. Additionally, the KD altered the gene expression of nucleotide-binding and oligomerization domain-like receptor family pyrin domain-containing 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome- and endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress-related markers in the muscles of diabetic mice. Collectively, KD improved muscle mass and function with alterations in NLRP3 inflammasome and ER stress.

Abstract Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is caused by selective the loss of spinal motor neurons by multifactorial pathological mechanisms and results in muscle atrophy. Incidence rates of ALS are increasing over time, but there are no effective treatments at present due to limitations on approved therapies (riluzole and edaravone). Therefore, this study investigated whether combined treatment with Bojungikgi-tang and riluzole could act synergistically in transactive response DNA-binding protein 43 (TDP-43) stress granule cells. To examine the effect of combined treatment on oxidative stress-induced cell death, the CCK8 assay was performed for the detection of cell viability. The expression of oxidative stress-induced proteins was determined by Western blot. Quantification of sodium arsenite-induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) was measured in TDP-43 stress granular cells using 2,7-diacetyl dichlorofluorescein diacetate. To investigate the effect of combined treatment on TDP-43 aggregation, immunofluorescence and immunoblotting were performed in TDP-43 stress granular cells. This combined treatment alleviated oxidative stress-induced cell death by increasing the expression levels of antioxidation proteins, such as heme oxygenase-1 and B cell lymphoma-2-associated X protein. Furthermore, it reduced oxidative stress-induced TDP-43 aggregates and lowered the levels of autophagy-related proteins, including p62, light chain 3b, and ATG8, in TDP-43-expressing cells. Our results suggest that this combined treatment could be helpful for autophagy regulation in other neurodegenerative diseases.

Abstract The acceleration of renewable energy has emerged as a cornerstone strategy in mitigating climate change and advancing the sustainable stewardship of our natural resources. Nonetheless, financing renewable energy projects remains a challenging issue. In this context, green bonds have surfaced as a promising financial instrument to propel renewable energy projects forward and foster sustainable resource development. This study endeavors to evaluate the transformative impact of green bonds on renewable energy investments in China. Leveraging the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and the fuzzy weighted aggregates sum product assessment (WASPAS) methods, we delve into the Chinese landscape to dissect the correlation between green bonds and renewable energy investment outcomes. Through extensive literature review, we have identified several factors, comprising nuanced sub-factors, alongside distinctive investment strategies pertinent to the effective utilization of green bonds in the renewable energy sector. The fuzzy AHP analysis reveals that financial, environmental, and regulatory are the most influential factors. Employing the fuzzy WASPAS method, our findings emphasize the transformative potential of green bonds in significantly accessing to capital of renewable energy projects in the context of Chinese. This research sheds light on the pivotal role green bonds play in driving sustainable natural resource development through substantial investments in renewable energy projects.
