Abstract 【Objective】New urbanization, rural industrial integration and farmers common prosperity are the three driving factors of rural development. The study on the coupling mechanism among the above three can give a deeper understanding of their rich connotation and interaction mechanism. Studying the factors that affect the coupling of the three can provide countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the implementation of rural revitalization strategies in Shaanxi Province and even the northwest region.【Method】Based on the interaction relationship among the three, a comprehensive evaluation index system was constructed to measure the coupling coordination degree among the three in various cities of Shaanxi Province from 2010 to 2020. The Tobit Model was used to study the factors affecting the coupling coordination of the three.【Result】(1) From 2010 to 2020, the comprehensive levels of new urbanization, rural industrial integration and farmers' common prosperity in Shaanxi Province increased from 0.28 to 0.49, 0.33 to 0.38, and 0.31 to 0.58, respectively, showing a continuous upward trend. (2) The coupling coordination degree of new urbanization, rural industrial integration and common prosperity of farmers in Shaanxi Province was generally at a low level, but it continued to rise from 0.347 to 0.721 in the study period, and the regional heterogeneity was significant. (3) From a global perspective, the regression coefficients of government support and human capital are 0.269 and 0.163 respectively, that is, government support and human capital have a significant positive role in promoting the coupling coordination of new urbanization, rural industrial integration and farmers' common prosperity in Shaanxi Province. The regression coefficients for industrial structure, unemployment situation, and income gap are -0.961, -0.214, and -0.318, respectively, indicating that industrial structure imbalance, severe unemployment and excessive urban-rural income gap will suppress the coupling of the three driver factors. (4) From ...

Abstract Cell cycle is known to be regulated by the underlying gene network. Chromosomes, which serve as the scaffold for gene expressions, undergo significant structural reorganizations during mitosis. Understanding the mechanism of the cell cycle from the chromosome structural perspective remains a grand challenge. In this study, we applied an integrated theoretical approach to investigate large-scale chromosome structural dynamics during the mitosis-to-G1 phase transition. We observed that the chromosome structural expansion and adaptation of the structural asphericity do not occur synchronously and attributed this behaviour to the unique unloading sequence of the two types of condensins. Furthermore, we observed that the coherent motions between the chromosomal loci are primarily enhanced within the topologically associating domains (TADs) as cells progress to the G1 phase, suggesting that TADs can be considered as both structural and dynamical units for organizing the three-dimensional chromosome. Our analysis also reveals that the quantified pathways of chromosome structural reorganization during the mitosis-to-G1 phase transition exhibit high stochasticity at the single-cell level and show nonlinear behaviours in changing TADs and contacts formed at the long-range regions. Our findings offer valuable insights into large-scale chromosome structural dynamics after mitosis.

Abstract Understanding the ecological mechanisms associated with the collapse and restoration is especially critical in promoting harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. So far, it remains challenging to elucidate the mechanisms of stochastic dynamical transitions for ecological systems. Using an example of plant-pollinator network, we quantified the energy landscape of ecological system. The landscape displays multiple attractors characterizing the high, low and intermediate abundance stable states. Interestingly, we detected the intermediate states under pollinator decline, and demonstrated the indispensable role of the intermediate state in state transitions. From the landscape, we define the barrier height (BH) as a global quantity to evaluate the transition feasibility. We propose that the BH can serve as a new early-warning signal (EWS) for upcoming catastrophic breakdown, which provides an earlier and more accurate warning signal than traditional metrics based on time series. Our results promote developing better management strategies to achieve environmental sustainability.

Abstract 【Objective】The study was conducted to establish a comprehensive evaluation index system for ecological protection and high-quality economic development in Northwest China, and measure the coupling coordination level of the "ecology-economy" system in Northwest China, with a view to providing countermeasure and suggestions for promoting the coordinated development of the "ecology-economy" system and its elements.【Method】Based on the panel data of five provinces in Northwest China from 2008 to 2020, the entropy method and coupling coordination degree model were used to measure the coupling coordination level of the "ecology-economy" system in Northwest China, and cluster analysis was used to divide the coupling degree of the "ecology-economy" system in Northwest China into six levels.【Result】The time series characteristics of the coupling coordination degree of the "ecology-economy" system in Northwest China increased steadily during the investigation period, and the coordination level gradually transited from mild imbalance and low-level coordination to high-quality coordination. The spatial characteristics were shown in the coupling coordination degree of the "ecology-economy" system, presenting the characteristics of Shaanxi > Gansu > Xinjiang > Qinghai > Ningxia. The five provinces in Northwest China reached and maintained the basic coordination level of class Ⅴ from 2016 to 2020. Shaanxi first entered the high-quality coordination level of class Ⅵ in 2020. The coupling coordination degree of the "ecology economy" system of Ningxia and Qinghai fluctuated and increased.【Conclusion】There is a strong spatial heterogeneity in Northwest China. We should improve the "ecology-economy" system and its coordinated development mechanism from three aspects: endogenous innovation, consumption upgrading and government promotion.

Abstract Summary: Hepatic steatosis, which is triggered by dysregulation of lipid metabolism and redox equilibrium in the liver, is regarded as a risk factor in the non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). However, pharmacologic engagement of this process is difficult. We identified the small molecule NSC48160 as an effective agent against nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). We found that NSC48160 significantly lowered hepatic lipid levels in vitro and in vivo by activating the AMPKα-dependent pathway. AMPKα regulated its downstream pathway involved in lipogenesis (SREBP-1c/FASN pathway) and fatty acid oxidation (PPARα pathway). Metabonomics analysis combined with RNA-sequencing profiling revealed that NSC48160-induced lipogenesis is modulated by lipid metabolism. Moreover, NSC48160 dramatically reduces reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, restores the levels of the membrane potential and NAD+/NADH ratio, and improves mitochondrial respiration. These findings suggest that NSC48160 is a promising hit compound in the pursuit of a pharmacological approach in the treatment of NASH.

Abstract Background: The opioid receptors related to analgesia are mainly μ recipient, the μ receptor has a two-way mode of action: manifested by opioid analgesics and μ1 Receptor binding produces the desired analgesic effect, and μ2 Receptor binding may cause respiratory depression, nausea and vomiting and other adverse reactions. Nalmefene is an opioid receptor antagonist. Low dose Nalmefene has priority over μ2 Receptor binding makes opioid analgesics turn more to μ1 receptor binding, which is reversed μ2 Receptor mediated nausea, vomiting, respiratory depression and other adverse reactions, but does not reverse the analgesic effect. We assume that sufentanil combined with nalmefene could reduce respiratory adverse events in the patients who underwent uvulopalatopharyngoplasty during recovery. Methods: Patients with UPPP under general anesthesia were selected, and divided into control group (group C) and nalmefene group (group N) randomly. Patients in group N received sufentanil 0.1 μg/kg and nalmefene hydrochloride 0.25μg/kg at the end of the operation. Additionally, patients in group C received sufentanil 0.1 μg/kg at the end of the operation. The heart rate (HR) and mean arterial pressure (MAP) were observed and recorded before operation, immediately after extubation, and 5 min after extubation. The breathing recovery time, tracheal extubation time, consciousness score (Ramsay score、sedation-agitation scale (SAS)) and visual analog score (VAS) were carefully recorded at 5 min after extubation, and the various adverse reactions were monitored during the recovery period. Results: Ninety-six patients were finished our study finally. The breathing recovery and extubation time of group N was significantly shorter than those of group C (P < 0.05). The Ramsay score after extubation in group N was significantly lower as compared to that in group C (P < 0.05). The sedation-agitation scale of group N was observed to be significantly higher than that of group C (P < 0.05). Moreover, the incidences of respiratory ...

Abstract Digital transformation (DT) is a long-term strategy for economic sustainability, particularly for manufacturing-oriented economies. This study proposes a digital ESG (DESG) theoretical framework to investigate how DT empowers ESG performance in the manufacturing industry. Using Python, we collected data from Chinese manufacturing firms from 2009 to 2020. This study used the ordinary least squares method to examine the relationships among DT, ESG performance, and manufacturing ESG heterogeneity. The results suggest that big companies and growing firms pay more attention to their ESG performance than others and that state-owned enterprises are keen on ESG performance but underperform. Additionally, DT may contribute to manufacturing ESG performance in general; labor-intensive and non-state-owned enterprises benefit more from DT than their counterparts; and manufacturers in economically developed regions show more significant ESG performance thanks to DT. These findings support the use of a DESG theoretical framework in the manufacturing industry whereby digital technologies facilitate business production and improve the business profits of manufacturing firms, so that manufacturers have sufficient profits to conduct ESG investments for sustainable development in a virtuous cycle. Abstract Early intervention of criminal law in social governance has become an irreversible trend in China, which plays a significant role in preventing and controlling social risks, but the serious collateral consequences of penalties also lead to many new social contradictions. Korea’s criminal hesitation system1 pays attention to the ethics of rules and regulations and has a strong color of subjectivism, which can better achieve the double effect of crime prevention and human rights protection. Our country should learn from the advantages of Korea, introduce the system of criminal deferral in due course, and expand the scope of application of the criminal deferral system in order to dissolve the contradictions caused by the consequences of the penalty. At the same time, it should also adhere to the concept of “criminal integration” and promote the systematic process of misdemeanour management in China.
