Abstract Abstract: 18 F-FDG PET/CT imaging was performed for restaging in in a 16-year-old boy who was operated on for right testicular tumor and was diagnosed with malignant mixed germ cell tumor. Mild FDG uptake was observed in 2 nodules in both lungs and retroperitoneal lymph node in the abdomen. 68 Ga-FAPI (fibroblast activation protein inhibitor) 04 PET/CT showed moderate uptake of FAPI in lung nodules and retroperitoneal lymph node. In this case, 68 Ga-FAPI-04 PET/CT was shown to be superior to 18 F-FDG PET/CT in the evaluation of malignant mixed germ cell testicular tumor metastases.

Results: Metabolic tumor volume, modified Glasgow prognostic score and locally advanced disease were identified as independent prognostic parameters for PFS (p=0.004, p=0.029, p=0.016, respectively). A univariate Cox regression analysis revealed albumin/alkaline phosphatase and tumor size to be significant parameters for prognosis (p=0.033, p=0.043, respectively). A multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed that none of the parameters were predictive or OS.

Abstract Abstract: A soft tissue lesion surrounding the left kidney was detected in 18F-FDG PET/CT performed with suspicion of recurrence in a patient who was operated for descending colon cancer and showed mild FDG uptake. Intense fibroblast activation protein-specific inhibitor (FAPI) uptake in the perirenal soft tissue was observed in 68Ga-FAPI-04 PET/CT. Tru-cut biopsy of the left perirenal lesion revealed signet ring cell colon carcinoma metastasis. This case demonstrated that 68Ga-FAPI-04 PET/CT could be a promising radiopharmaceutical for the evaluation of signet ring cell colon carcinomas.

Abstract Objective: To evaluate metabolic and volume-based parameters of 18-Fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography ((F)FDG PET/CT) for primary mass and axillary lymph node (ALN) metastasis in relation to molecular subtype, and immunohistochemistry and inflammatory markers in patients with invasive ductal carcinoma.
Methods: A total of 129 patients (mean±SD age: 49.2±13.0 years) with invasive ductal breast cancer who had (F)FDG PET/CT imaging prior to chemotherapy or surgery were included in this single-center retrospective study. Data on patient age, molecular subtype, ALN metastasis status, inflammatory markers, immunohistochemistry markers and (F)FDG PET/CT imaging parameters for primary mass and ALN were recorded.
Results: ALN metastasis was evident in 52.7% of patients and associated with significantly higher median diameter (P=0.027), MTV (P<0.001) and TLG (P<0.001). NLR was positively correlated with all primary mass (p ranged from 0.041 to 0.001) and ALN (P ranged from 0.026 to <0.001) PET parameters. PET parameters did not change with respect to molecular subtype or immunohistochemistry markers. Primary mass and ALN metastasis PET parameters showed significant positive correlations for TLG (r=0.274, P=0.001) and SUVmax (r=0.358, P<0.001).
Conclusion: In conclusion, our findings in a retrospective cohort of invasive ductal breast cancer patients revealed primary mass PET parameters to significantly differ with respect to ALN metastasis status and NLR levels, but not according to molecular subtype or immunohistochemistry markers. Accordingly, our findings highlight the value of acquisition of preoperative PET/CT imaging and role of both metabolic and volume-based parameters in predicting aggressiveness of the tumor as correlated with presence of ALN metastasis and high NLR.

Abstract Abstract: 68Ga-FAPI (fibroblast activation protein-specific inhibitor) PET/CT was performed in a 56-year-old man with multiple liver masses, which were confirmed grade 2 well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors with liver Tru-Cut biopsy. With 68Ga-DOTATE PET/CT, primary tumor in the pancreas, multiple metastases in the liver and metastatic portocaval lymph node were detected. In 68Ga-FAPI PET/CT imaging performed for comparison, it was seen that metastatic lesions in the liver were distinguished much better because of low background activity, and the primary tumor and metastatic lymph node were clearly selected. This case suggested that FAPI-bounded radionuclides may be useful in the evaluation and targeted therapy of neuroendocrine tumors.

Results: The mean age of the patients was 69.81 ± 8.78 (min/max: 51/91) years. In the 5th minute images, prostate gland and bed were easier to evaluate, because of low bladder activity. However, lymph node evaluation was more difficult due to high vascular activity. In the prostate gland, lymph nodes and bone metastases, both SUVmax values and TBR rates increased with time from the 5th minute (p < 0.001). At the 2nd hour, some lesions became more visible, while decreased activity was observed in some lesions. However, none of the patients required a change in the stage or treatment.
Conclusion: In conclusion, the 5th minute pelvic images in (

Abstract Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the prognostic role of Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) 1.1 and quantitative 68 Ga-DOTATATE PET/computed tomography parameters such as maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax), mean SUV (SUVmean), DOTATATE tumor volume (DTV), total lesion DOTATATE (TLD) in patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs) treated with 177 Lu-DOTATATE.
Material and method: Our retrospective study included 21 patients with GEP-NETs treated with 177 Lu-DOTATATE between January 2017 and January 2022. SUVmax, SUVmean, SUVmax/spleenSUVmax (SUVmax/Sx), DTV, TLD, SUVmean/spleenSUVmean (SUVmean/Sm), TLD/Sm values were calculated and recorded for all patients before and after 177 Lu-DOTATATE treatment.
Results: A total of 319 metastases were detected in the patients included in the study, and a total of 68 target lesions were selected. In univariant Cox regression analysis, TLD/Sm percent change (∆TLD/Sm) was found to be statistically significant on overall survival (OS) ( P  = 0.044). The 3-year survival in nonresponders was 50% ( P  = 0.034) based on ∆SUVmax/Sx values, 50% ( P  = 0.002) based on RECIST values, 50% based on ∆TDTV + new lesion values ( P  = 0.033), and according to ∆TTLD + new lesion values, it was 66% ( P  = 0.030).
Conclusion: In our study, we showed that SUVmax/Sx, RECIST, ∆TDTV + new lesion, and ∆TTLD + new lesion parameters can predict OS in the evaluation of response to treatment.
