Abstract A pot experiment was conducted to study the effect of mycorrhiza, fungicides in difference concentration and there combination on growth and nutrients balance index of soya bean. Tow AM treatments including with and with out mycorrhiza and tow fungicides (parasmid and ant-arcol) each of them including four concentration (0.0, 0.25, 0.5 and 1 Kg·donum -1 ) were tested in factorial completely randomized design in the three replication. The results indicates that the higher value of total dry matter weight was recorded from combination treatment (F 1 M 1 C 1 ) which attained 11.09 gm·pot -1 ,while the lower value 2.25 gm·pot -1 was produced by combination treatment (F 2 M 2 C 3 ) ,however the same combination treatments was showed that the nitrogen ,phosphorus ,magnesium and iron in the shoot tissues in the mycorrhizal plant with lower concentration of fungicides were significantly greater (P < 0.01) compared to control and higher concentration treatments. The higher concentration of the above mentioned nutrients (28.33, 8.36, 6.34 mg·g -1 , 251.00 mg·K -1 ) was recorded. The result of nutrient index and nutrient balance index revealed that the lower NBI (56.18) was recorded in combination treatments (F 1 M 1 C 1 ), while the higher NBI (2033.81) was produced from combination treatments (F 2 M 2 C 3 ), moreover the results shows significant negative correlation ship between NBI and total dry matter weight (r = -0.63*) .

Abstract A series of experiments has been undertaken in order to test the biological properties of neutrons produced in the cyclotron of the Institute "Ruder Bosković" (IRB) in Zagreb. Protective effect of AET (2-amino ethylisothiuronium bromide hydrobromide) on survival of L cells irradiated by fast neutrons generated in the IRB cyclotron were studied by employing the single cell clonal growth method. For comparison the protective effect of AET after gamma irradiation has also been studied. The most important findings that have emerged from these experiments can be summarized as follows: (1) Protective effect of AET was present after gamma irradiation only. (2) The degree of protection was dependent on AET concentration in the growth medium. (3) No protective effect was found after neutron irradiation. These findings are in agreement with the generally less efficient protection of this compounds after high-LET irradiation.

Abstract Measurements of multiplicity and transverse momentum fluctuations of charged particles were performed in inelastic p+p interactions at 20, 31, 40, 80 and 158 GeV/c beam momentum. Results for the scaled variance of the multiplicity distribution and for three strongly intensive measures of multiplicity and transverse momentum fluctuations \$\Delta[P_{T},N]\$, \$\Sigma[P_{T},N]\$ and \$\Phi_{p_T}\$ are presented. For the first time the results on fluctuations are fully corrected for experimental biases. The results on multiplicity and transverse momentum fluctuations significantly deviate from expectations for the independent particle production. They also depend on charges of selected hadrons. The string-resonance Monte Carlo models EPOS and UrQMD do not describe the data. The scaled variance of multiplicity fluctuations is significantly higher in inelastic p+p interactions than in central Pb+Pb collisions measured by NA49 at the same energy per nucleon. This is in qualitative disagreement with the predictions of the Wounded Nucleon Model. Within the statistical framework the enhanced multiplicity fluctuations in inelastic p+p interactions can be interpreted as due to event-by-event fluctuations of the fireball energy and/or volume.
